Newly opened hotel after the pandemic. Rooms are spacious & clean. Though staff are new and not well trained, they tried their best to serve the customers. The manager in charge of front desk and F&B Mr.Specially was very attentive and helpful, kudos to him. Breakfast spread & buffet lunch were of reasonable quality. Location is a plus, just next to the city square shopping mall with plenty of food options, shops & even Javanese massage. Parking is also complementary on the 7th level. The downside is the spiral passage to the car park was very narrow & our car was accidentally scratched while turning.

Very nice hotel environment, clean and super new rooms, crew are excellent! They are friendly, courteous and strikes a conversation to know you more. Keep up the good work, same quality as other properties in the IHG group that I've stayed throughout the years in Asia, Europe and the US. Breakfast is of very high quality and worth the money spent. Great first time stay!

This is a great spot for travelers who want to stop just short of the causeway and want to be able to walk to easy shopping and dining. Keep in mind, everything is a bit pricier here than farther into JB because it’s catering to tourists. AC was going great and every modern convenience was available, including slippers, bottled water, and soft AND firm pillows. Service was great and prompt in delivering extra items requested. All in all, a definite recommend!

Fantastic experience from start to end. 1. Great location, easily accessible, love the directions to the hotel from Komtar. 2. The front desk service is fantastic, and that includes everyone. 3. The housekeeping staff on level 15 on 5 august afternoon is amazing. He went above and beyond to show me to my room when he actually didn’t have too. Very impressed. I believe it was the same guy that was also on the floor when I was checking out who said goodbye to me from across the corridor which was sweet. 4. The breakfast team was amazing. They were working really hard even though they were short staffed. 5. Breakfast options were amazing and some of the dishes were really great. Cons: 1. Windows in room is very dirty, fingerprints and dirt left from previous occupants. 2. Lots of flies near the muffin station at the breakfast area on both the days I was there.

The suite is spacious and clean. More than enough space for our family of four. The hotel is conveniently located and well-maintained. We enjoyed the stay and look forward to staying in the hotel again!

Relatively new hotel in town. Checked in took a bit longer cause we requested connecting room. Our rooms located right next to the lift lobby, surprisingly the sound proofing was good. Couldn’t hear much noise or footstep. In general rooms were spacious and clean. Importantly price was reasonable. Plus point! The services crews were very friendly and helpful! No complain :)

Stayed on 17, left on 18 June. Really wanted to give a 5/5 rating but 1 star off due to the maintenance and cleanliness of the pool. The water looked cloudy and uncomfortable to swim. Tissues were left on the lounge chair. Aside from that, everything else is fantastic. Would like to compliment the receptionist for the complimentary early check-in and the staffs here are professional and welcoming. The room is spacious, tip top condition and well-maintained. Breakfast has a wide variety of options and probably one of the best hotel buffet breakfast in JB. Will stay here again and I hope you will look into the pool maintenance.

1st time trying out this hotel, staying for 4 days 3 nights. We love this hotel for its location and comfy rooms.the bed uses quality sheets and firm and soft pillows.Toilet is clean and shower is working well.cleanliness is top notch.Breakfast is good spread. The swimming pool with jacuzzi, sauna room and gym room at Lev 32 are just nice in term of size. Service crews are all very friendly, polite and nice. Would love to come back again in future for short gateway.

Came with for a short vacation. The room is great, decent view and cleanliness. Only thing I would highlight would be the level of service. Even though holiday inn belongs to ibg group with great establishment but within different countries comes with a different level of service. I wouldn't say here is better than Singapore. But overall If you are not picky about service. It's still a great stay for couple and family.

Relatively new Holiday Inn that is so close to CIQ. I don’t think you could go wrong staying in any Holiday Inn but this one surely exceeded my expectations. Check-in process was quick and efficient. The room is spacious, modern and very well maintained. I’m glad we opted for the breakfast option as it was delicious! Will definitely stay here again.

A very conveniently located hotel, just above 2 shopping malls below and a short walk away from the CIQ building. The hotel also offers a great view of the causeway and Woodlands right across. Stayed with family while on a short trip in JB and Singapore. Rooms were fine and the views were good. Main downside was the bedside plug outlets which didn't work. I had to use a different outlet in the room to charge my phone. Toilet paper was also too small and thin. Nevertheless, it was a great stay and I enjoyed my time here.

Check in was fast. Upgraded our room at check-in and the staff was very helpful and patient. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 to Mr Specially at the front desk for his service! The stay was good throughout. Room was clean and water pressure in the bath is decent. Quiet throughout the day. Would definitely be back again.

I paid RM640 for a one night stay, and that rate is WITHOUT breakfast. Check in is at 3pm. In-room breakfast was mediocre. On a positive note, room was clean. But toiletries provided were very basic. I would highly suggest that for RM640, you can stay at other hotels for 2 nights WITH breakfast. Not value for money staying here.

Not bad for a 4 star hotel. Location is definitely convenient. Property sits right beside the customs building and in sandwiched in between two popular malls so your will be spoiled for choice when it comes to shopping and dining. Check in and check out was a breeze and staffs were very friendly and much polite than recent stay previously at another hotel. The king standard room is decent. Although there is not much variety of channels to watch on the TV. My only gripe was that the bed smelled musty and awfully that I had to spray some sanitizer myself and hoped for the best. And the toilet sink should have been thoroughly cleaned. I could see grime and scum underneath the sink when I sat down on the toilet to answer the call of nature. Needless to say I was disgusted. And the water pressure of the bidet spray gun was not strong enough. But the sink cleanliness issue was definitely a turn off and I expected better from a 4 star hotel. Buffet breakfast was decent. Nothing to rave about as it had a decent spread of Asian and western influences. Overall, decent stay. I would recommend this place for those who wants convenience and accessibility and are not the fussy kind. I would come back here if they fix their cleanliness issue.

We'd just returned from a 2 night stay (2nd visit) overall pleasant stay at Holiday Inn. Would like to commend on the good service by the front desk staff , Specially. Specially greeted us warmly despite having to face the throng of check-in crowd and went all in to ensure that our check-in process is smooth and swift. And when the carpark list was done, the technicians reacted quickly by directing the guests thru the cargo lift. 👏 The breakfast however was a letdown, with mediocre food and service.

Extremely terrible experience! Booking was made days ago for 2 twin rooms, but was assigned rooms at 2 different floors. We only get to know about it upon check in and expressed concerns because we have a child who might look for grandparents anytime. But the reception staff named Ayumi who attended to us was extremely rude and told us "all rooms are fully booked" and "if you want your rooms to be on the same floor, you will have to wait, but I can't guarantee you how long." in a sarcastic tone. When we asked to speak to the Manager, she brought a man to the counter and the man just looked at the monitor, said something to her, and walked away. Throughout the process, the man had no eye contact with us, never introduced himself and never said a single word to us. After he left, this reception staff named Ayumi then informed us that she will shift us to 2 interconnected rooms. So, it means arrangement can be made, but she just wanted an easy way out and gave us an attitude to brush us off! We had initially wanted to stay in St Giles hotel during this trip as our previous experiences there were pleasant. We eventually decided to book this hotel because we heard it's new and would like to give it a try. This is such a disappointment as this is not the kind of service standard I expect from a reputable hotel chain.

5 stars, but i would give 5000 if i could! huge shout out to ayumi, who was so so patient with us when we asked at different time intervals if our room was ready. she was always smiling and assisting us to check and i’m so glad to be able to experience this superb service! me and my bf came for our anniversary and we are so happy. holiday inn is my favorite hotel chain and i will definitely return one day for another amazing stay. thank you everyone👍🏻🌟❤️

The check in was fast & efficient. I was informed by Ros, the reception who check me in that I’ll be getting a connecting room, which I do not mind; I will not be in the room most of the time. The room was clean & tidy; the only setback is the roller blind seem faulty & the conditioner was empty, which normally is no fault of anyone as the housekeeping are tight on schedule during peak season thus forgivable. For the price I pay, I would definitely be back for the convenience location & accessibility.

Had a 4 days 2 nights stay. Room is spacious, bright, clean and quiet. Comfort and safety level meets the mark and it is also priced reasonably. One only downside is the pillows - they are all too soft regardless its a firm pillow or non firm pillow. Not able to support my neck at all and I ended up having less quality sleep. Nevertheless, I still think it deserves a 4 stars rating.

Had dinner at Dine@Eight. The service was good. All staff was friendly and courteous. The food quantity was good for the price. The tastes a bit salty but overall good. The complimentary food and drink was worth it. Surprise for the portion given.

While the room is big and comfortable, the shower stand could use a good scrub. More training should be given to housekeeping staff and also the staff who man the cocktail bar so that the drinks served live up to their names. Hotel is conveniently connected with adjoining shopping malls and pickups are easy too.

Enjoyed my 2 Night Stay here at Holiday Inn, though price was at the higher side, but the experience is worth it. Room was clean and spacious. Love the swimming pool at 32 Floor enjoy relaxing while looking at the scenery towards Singapore Woodland. Love the gym room and Yoga Room at the same 32 floor. Nice atmosphere and new equipment and important fantastic view while exercising. Good experience. Breakfast can be further improved to provide more variety of food. Overall experience is still nice.

Pros: - The staff who checked us in, Ayumi, was warm and friendly. Housekeeping staff never failed to greet us with a smile too. - Location was really good. Only 5 minutes walk from CIQ. Mall downstairs too. Cons: - The water pressure in our shower was not the best. The temperature was inconsistent too. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will choose to stay here again.

Great location for those who want to be near the causeway. But of cos with this location, you need to expect jams. The room I was in (1714): there were jagged bits between the carpeted area and the tile, and they cut. So please be careful. The aircon was slow to start too. Upon inspection of the control panel, it was indicated that it required a cleaning

Awarded 5 stars with almost no doubt Check in was swift and efficient, did not need to stand and wait too long. The staff there were patient and optimistic, contributing to my overall positive impression of the hotel The rooms were clean, aircon was adjustable and very good, bathroom amenities were always restocked whenever needed, bathroom is clean and fresh after housekeeping. However, one minor flaw was the bathroom shade. It fell out when i activated it but the friendly staff was able to fix it aft my call to the front desk. Havent tried the restaurants there, would be happy to try another day. Location of the hotel is excellent, however as it lies on the main road, getting grab/uber/taxi gonna be quite long as there are frequent jam on the main road... overall good hotel for the price and age..would come again sometime in the future

Went for a stay over the long weekend. Reached the hotel early and we were lucky to be served by Chrisfarina. Such an exemplary service given to us. Told her that mum needed the room to rest, she swiftly assisted to grant us early check-in as she understood our situation. Great service provided by Chris and this sets the standard. Will surely return :)

The main impression left for me has been their service excellence. I had accidentally left something in the room safe when I checked out. The duty manager reached out to contact me that afternoon about it. We arranged to have it couriered, and I received it back in a few days. So pleased with this.

Very clean room. The bed was really comfortable. We had 2 nights of great sleep. Great view of Jalan Wong Ah Fook and if not for the office tower, we would have been able to see the causeway as well. Location is fantastic and within walking distance to a few malls and many eateries.

High standard cleanliness, comfortable, great location hotel experience only to be ruined by a complicated and leaking Philips steam iron (picture). Smooth check in and check out. Everything you see here feels well maintained and premium. Did not had a chance to try their breakfast as there are various breakfast option in the vicinity

Overall an excellent stay. The rooms are very high floor with amazing view outwards. The 32nd floor swimming pool was great, and kudos to the staff for introducing the sauna - it was excellent. The hotel is decorated in luxurious marble. Some feedback, the 32 floor shower didn't have hot water when I was there, and there was nowhere to store stuff outside when using the sauna. Bed was a bit too hard for my liking. Suggest for them to have an express checkout box to just drop off room cards, as the check in counter was very crowded.

Booked this trip a little last minute and very glad to be able to book this nice hotel with clean environment. The crews are friendly, courteous, especially the housekeeping team. However, there are some stains in the mug. Suggest to do a deep cleaning for the mugs in the room. My stay is great overall.

Rooms were clean and the entire hotel feels new - when we entered our rooms there was this strong paint smell (indicating how renovations could have been done recently?). Lobby is a little stuffy, aircon did not seem to be working. Hotel breakfast is adequate, but a little disappointed with how the egg station was unmanned for both days of breakfast :( Overall, I think it delivers great value for the amount you are paying, you get a decent room with quality service and free breakfast!

Amazing stays. Nice breakfast which allows kids eat for free (under 12 yo). clean and comfortable room. arrange for the complimentary swan towel decoration and late check up at 2pm. Swimming pool need pre booking but nobody use it except us during our stay. Strategic location and friendly & helpful staff. nearly perfect stay except the parking has narrow path and bit challeging. Rated 9/10.

Nice and Clean environment, hotel is quite new and well maintained. Strategic location nearby lots of infra and tourist place. The bed are very comfortable & they even have 2 types of pillow (soft / firm) available on bed! A bit of hassle to drive up to level 7 for Parking that is near lobby. Although there is a bit of delay at the check in there due to some issue for the client queued before us, but overall good.
