Cozy and airy atmosphere! Loved it during lunch time! Food is really excellent and be ready to try different types of appetiser as everything was worth trying! Pizza crust was amazing and light. My favourite was the truffle and mushroom pizza, must order appetiser for me was the bruschetta with some really good pesto!

Went there for lunch. The resturant offers Spanish cuisine ranging from tapas to paella . The cold and hot tapas were great, especially the " Valencia", which I highly recommend. Unfortunately the sea-food paella was poor in content and too-fishy. Chief JUAN was so humble to listen to our comments and offered us a complementary dessert and coffee. Great service.

We had an exceptional service at Mercado … Big thanks to all the staff working in the restaurant for being so welcoming, specially Mr. Aseel and Mr. Mohamad for always being around making sure that we are having a great breakfast experience. Mr. Aseel recommended the best dishes and options, serving with very high standards while maintaining a smile on his face all the time. They managed to get everything thing we asked for even when it wasn’t available they improvised. And at the end they surprised us with thank you pancakes, that were delicious! Thank you for making us have a great start for our day.

A very lovely pizzeria and a very nice ambiance. The food was spectacular, from the Appetizers all the way to the pizza and dessert, it’s a very nice place to go to and the vibes are quite welcoming

Mercado is an Italian restaurant in St. Regis hotel Amman .The ambience is pleasant and cheerful. Went for lunch to mercado. It was nice and sunny inside the restaurant. We had tried the cold anti pasta selection which the chef prepared for us. Presentation of meat cold cuts was not great. In terms of taste everything was dull except for the cheese, pickles and pineapple.  Moving on to their signature bread it was very greasy must use fork and knife to avoid the oily ness. The starters like the aubergine with parmigiano was loaded with cheese and egg plant was big pieces. So it was messy eating it or sharing. It cld have been presented as rolls instead. Flavour was ok not an italian signature dish as shld be . Similarly the Tuscany and prawns starter felt like an arabic cucumber tomato salad. My expectations were rock bottom as I was expecting the main dish. Thankfully I was wrong . All  The main dishes  were head turners. We had ordered rossìto with mushrooms. Grilled Salmon and here I must mention the creativity of the components added to the salmon as well as the presentation and garnish.  Truly fine dinning. The skin of salmon was as shld be light and crispy. The pasta underneath with small peas are a good addition. The garnish was flowery purple chips. The fillet di menzo and pollo milanese were excellent so was the French fries.  We wrapped up our lunch with a visit to the ice cream bar where the had atleast 10 flavours of gelato. A bit over frozen but I truly loved the lemon basil and coffee flavour gelato.  Overall nice ambience and good service but starters need to be revisited so does the oily bread.btw mercado has indoor and outdoor.  Nice place for lunch.

Authentic mouthwatering Spanish food

We had great experience. The staff was very friendly and professional. The view was nice with openness ,the tables and the chairs were comfortable with great colors that reflect the Spanish culture. The food was delicious,fresh and real authentic. The best part was when the chef came to greet us and asked if there is anything he can do to make our experience especial ? His knowledge of the dishes he served and his love to Jordan was priceless. Thanks to each one of you.

Highly recommend. Definitely the best Spanish restaurant in Amman. The food is incredible (I can't recommend the ceviche and the paella enough). The service is superb! The ambiance was excellent. I definitely recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. They made our evening amazing.
