I came in out of the blue and sat by myself the atmosphere is inviting and wonderful. There is a mix of older and younger crowd also business and casual. The drinks are great basic blue collar drinks the food was amazing!!! I had the lobster with salad and ranch. OMG the lobster was perfectly cooked served with mashed potatoes and salad and garlic cheese bread. Just the perfect portions where I am full but not feelingmlike I am going to explode!! I savored every bite. Debbie my server was amazingly hospitable and made great recommendations!! She is a true GEM!!! In my opinion this lobster was cooked better then when I ate at marketbroiler or Taps brewery!!!

Went there under new ownership and it is still a great place. Dre the owner and Heather the waitress are very personable. Cedric the chef is still there, so the quality of the food is still great. Theyโ€™ve done some very nice improvements with plans for more.Theyโ€™ve kept the same type of atmosphere that Paula, original owner had.She left it in good hands and can enjoy her retirement and go to more Dodger games. I totally recommend this place to past customers and new customers. Still working on improvements so be patient with new owner. Went again in on June 9 and itโ€™s only got better. Great service from Alissa and the food was excellent again. They are adding live entertainment and more choices for food. Definitely recommend!!! Went there again on 10/6/23 to see how itโ€™s going and itโ€™s still excellent. Had a late breakfast and Cedric is still killing it in the kitchen. Alyssa was excellent as our waitress and Heather who is tending the bar now, also came out to help with our order. Saw Dre briefly, didnโ€™t talk with him. Still a great place to eat. Highly recommended.

Looking for a dive bar that's actually a great restaurant? The new Art's is worth a try to see if it's your vibe. Good drinks and quality food coming out of the kitchen. Staff are welcoming and make you feel like part of the scene. Cheers from the West Coast.

I was skeptical when hubby said this place had good food cause it looks like a greasy spoon dive bar. Mind you, I like dive bars, but I feel I need a Tums just thinking about food and a dive bar. This place had really great good, however. Not overly-ambitious items, but beautifully done basics like hamburgers (I had mine with Ortega chillis), perfect fried eggs, grilled Italian sausage, crispy wedge fries, etc. Honestly, it was SO good I almost took a pic of my leftovers to post. I'm looking forward to checking out the dinner menu specials!

I haven't been in since the new owner. Met Dre, the new owner, he was very polite. Food and drinks were great. Had the creamy poblano chicken sandwich, delicious! Heather was our bartender, excellent service. Overall, 2 ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ up!!!

I hadn't been to Art's in more than a dozen years. Looks the same as always. I think some of those regulars were sitting in the same barstool the last time I was there... really. Anyway, lunch was good. I had the pastrami on rye. I think I'll go with something different next time. Update: My son, grandson, and I had dinner at Art's last night, taco Tuesday. I've had more than my fair share of Tuesday night tacos all around town over the years. Art's $2 tacos were surprisingly among the best. Large, made to order, ground beef tacos. Very much like a hardshell beef taco you'd make at home. Keep in mind that these are $2 tacos. They're not stuffed with award winning al pastor, but a Tuesday $2 taco, these are hard to beat.

Haven't been here in a very long time ..thought I'd stop in for a bite to eat and a drink with my fiancee...we both got a Modelo michelada , tasted great ...then we had a cheese burger and a steak with baked potato,, both cooked how we asked and to perfection..both tasted great ...was dark and quiet for a Thursday exactly what we were looking for to get out of the rain n away from the noise ...would absolutely go back soon

We waited 15 minutes for the waiter to take our drink order. There were about 7 people at the bar. 1 other table was occupied they had already been served their food. He finally took our food order after 20 minutes. He took our water glasses and said I didn't forget about your Iced tea, he brought back our glasses of water and still no iced tea. We walked out because by then it had been 30 minutes and still no iced tea. I haven't ever in my life walked out of a place. I will not ever return.

Art's.... Always been a comfortable place with decent food. But now!! New owner took over a month ago and has instituted different policies and procedures. He hired a word Class chef with lots of creativity and new menu items with FRESH food. Most of the original favorites are still there, but noticeably better! He has hired additional Bar, Kitchen and Wait staff, along with the folks, from before. The service level has dramatically increased. The simple changes like using cocktail napkins, reasonable pricing with the old school dive bar feeling has not gone unnoticed.

The wait was a bit long . Nobody even acknowledged us walking in. Looked around the whole place for a table. Finally after five minutes. Waiter cleaned a table. Apologized for the wait.and sat us in. Again after while asked. Us for drinks. Only water please. Heart condition just left the hospital chf. Ordered???normal time for food to get to there. Food was good. Upon paying. Gave credit card. Waiter says. Cash only. Sign walking in. Sorry no sign noticeable anywhere. Come on. Personally not going back. Get credit card machine

Iโ€™ve always loved Artโ€™s. Under the new owners, itโ€™s gotten busier but the food, fun and service are still fantastic. This s a great Bar and a great place to eat. Tacos on Tuesday! Lobster Tail is excellent. Love the juke box. The staff is magnificent.

Literally the best bar in Riverside. 5 star dive bar. The owner Dre, is the coolest, most down to earth person. His whole team is amazing. They have live music by local artist. A hidden gem for anyone looking for a nice spot to watch sports, eat, drink, and vibe. They make you feel like family. All patrons welcomed, and loved.

The bartender, Tony, was so nice as were the waitresses. The bar is inviting and had a very friendly atmosphere, felt like a cozy neighborhood bar. I only had the mozzarella sticks, but they were delish. I had 2 vodka sodas (well) that were only $5 each! Will definitely be going back.

I've been looking forward to having dinner here . I had the patty melt and was underwhelmed although the house made kettle chips were excellent. Also trying to be fair in the less than stellar review it is Christmas time in downtown Riverside.

If you're an old Arts bar and grill fan, you might have a hard time adjusting to the new menu, but I will say that I'm very impressed with the quality. Although the original low prices are no longer, the quality of food and service has stepped up. I still see room for some minor menu improvement such as a side salad to come with a steak dinner, or steak and shrimp option or even a piece of garlic or cheese bread with the steak dinner. If they somehow added this option, it would be a perfect dinner option. I got the smaller steak cut and baked potato with veggies and let me tell you. It's was wasn't small. Med rare steak cooked to perfection and veggies were so full of flavor flavor. The side sauce the plate came with was mouthwatering. Highly recommend and will certainly be coming back. I paid $44 for the dinner, side salad and 2 beers for 1 person. Fast service, very attentive and overall friendly staff. I'd recommend this place over and over

This place is amazing! The food is always consistently delicious. My daughter loves their breakfast but all the food is great. The staff is always so welcoming and inviting. It makes you feel like it's your home away from home. Everytime we go in they always have a place for us to sit. I recommend this place to everyone, whether it be by yourself and friends or with your family.

Drinks, food, service can't be beat. What a wonderful local restaurant. If you don't like paying $10 for mini pour or $15 for a burger come on down to Art"s and enjoy a great meal at a great price.
