Amazing place to spend a vacation. Service is very good. The breakfast spread can be improved a little with the addition of some more north Indian items. The front office is pretty and the sight at night is amazingly beautiful. We availed the massage service too and that was very calming and relaxing

We had one of our most disappointing vacation experiences. I was reuniting with my brother's family after several years and had high hopes for a memorable vacation. Most of the rooms are located near a reservoir, and unfortunately, it rained heavily during our stay. Both of our room's bathrooms ended up flooded, and one of the rooms was completely submerged in water early in the morning while everyone was asleep. The management's response to our requests was slow, and it took multiple follow-ups before someone finally came to inspect the room and relocate us to a new one. During this time, my brother slipped and fell in the contaminated water, which had an unpleasant odor. The management insisted it was just rainwater. They treated the provision of the new room as a mere courtesy. It was evident that the management prioritized profit over customer satisfaction. On a positive note, the staff at the restaurant were kind and helpful and the food was exceptional. I don't recommend Anatya unless you are willing to take a risk.

The food was just average, which was a bit disappointing. However, the location of the resort is excellent, offering beautiful surroundings and a serene atmosphere. On the downside, there were no engaging activities or entertainment options available during our stay. The rooms, unfortunately, were not well maintained and could use some improvement. Overall, while the location was great, the lack of activities and room maintenance left us with mixed feelings about our stay.

The location and resort ambience is awesome. Situated near the dam, the resort offers a beautiful view and access to the river. Perfect place for some relaxing time. But maintenance and service could be improved. Also the buffet food varieties are less, but available items are good and tasty.

I would like to give a 5 star rating for the Staff's behavior. They really deserve a big applaud. I had stayed for 10 long days and I never got bored with the Food. Menu was changing constantly. The resort is located in one of the pristine locations which gives peace to mind. The rooms and Swimming pool were cleaned on a daily basis. Staffs were friendly and had helped a lot during my stay. I would recommend people to try the Candle Light dinner :)

My fiancΓ©e and I were very excited to book this resort for our Honeymoon. However, our experience with the reservation team was so pathetic that we decided to not go ahead, even though we love the property. The team spoke with an attitude, with multiple instances of sarcastic comments and unprofessional language such as "whoops". The menu card shared with me looked like it was of a local canteen. Despite me trying to negotiate a good deal on a 5 month advanced booking, they showed no intention of trying to customize their offerings as per my requirements. Clearly only the property is luxury, the Business Development team was arrogant and clearly had no training in hospitality. Suggest that you choose a more reputable brand if you are spending so much money

The view and the ambience is great, the lake view and the nature will remain in your heart forever. The food was very good and also the service of the staff was good. It's a kids and pet friendly resort. The only negative is that the cleanliness of the room was not up to the mark, pipes in the room were dirty and rusty, under the bed was not clean and we got a broken cup for the minibar. But it was okay when compared to the other things... The view is breathtaking. You can chill in the lawn or in the swing by enjoying the view of the lake and the wind will take you thinking...

My colleagues and I had a great experience here. Helpful staff. The location is great. Pure escape from city madness. Serene environment with a beautiful lake view and the infinity swimming pool is mind-blowing. Local sightseeing is not required as the resort itself is very big to explore. Rooms are clean and tidy.

Located by the lakeside, the resort offers some breathtakingly beautiful views. The property is well maintained and one can really spend some quality time here. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. My son loved the bathtub and spent quite a lot of time in it. It's beautifully set up. Swimming pool facilities were great and swimsuits are available for purchase. The food was good. The staff was very courteous and ready to help. There are loads of activities on offer for one to have a great time like fishing, cricket, badminton, cycling etc. Some of the shortcomings observed were: 1. You would need google maps to locate it. Otherwise its blink and you miss. No hoardings or signs of the resort were seen on the way. 2. Room required some maintenance as wall paint was coming off at some places. 3. Tea/coffee mugs were not provided and supplies like milk powder, coffee were not sufficient 4. It would have been better to have live omelet counter during breakfast. Toaster was not working. 5. Reception could have had an extra counter for checkin & checkout to avoid long wait time.

It's a wonderful resort to stay. Highlight is the lake view from room. Dedicated staff. Resort is little old but still the ambience is awesome. Lake view is simply amazing. Pool is neat and well maintained. Access to lake is another highlight. Lot of activities for kids including cycling, basketball, cricket etc. Cost of food is reasonable. Also the indoor and outdoor shower is fun. Overall good experience.

This place is simply amazing. The views are amazing from our rooms. The staff is extremely friendly. The food at the ananthya is also very tasty. I thought its a bit remote so the food might not be up to mark but the chef and the team have cooked really really tasty food. The staff i cannot stop praising as they were such kind people out there. The spa ....I just want to go there every day ...they massage are so traditional and perfect. Overall we just did not want to leave that place it was that good ! Loved our stay !

It was amazing place, nice view of chittar lake from the room. Stayed in siddhi villa which was a great experience. Food was good. Had fun swimming and enjoyed indoor games with family. Staff were friendly and took care of us very well. We did plantation walk which was very informative with light trekking. Overall a great experience and would love to be back.

I had an incredible stay at Anantya by the Lake! The view of Chittar Lake from the resort is breathtaking, and the infinity pool adds to the charm. The food was not only delicious but also reasonably priced. It's a serene and stunning place, offering a perfect escape from the city bustle. The staff were warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. If you're looking for a beautiful and peaceful getaway with a variety of activities, Anantya by the Lake is the place to be.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Anantya Resorts a month back and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the professional staffs made us feel welcome and ensured that every aspect of our stay was taken care of. One of the standout feature of this resort is the calming nature that surrounds it. The resort is located amidst breathtaking natural beauty which provided me an escape from my busy life. Whether be it a leisure stroll through the gardens or simply enjoying the peaceful mountains from my Siddhi Villa's room, I felt a sense of calmness. The culinary experience was nothing short of exceptional. The food served at the resort's restaurant was delightful, prepared with care and attention. Each meal was a culinary journey that left me craving for more. I must say it was the best breakfast I ever had. The resort's ambience further enhanced my stay. The attention to detail in its traditional design, the decor, the gardens and the thoughtfully curated spaces all contributed to a luxurious and inviting atmosphere. Be it an evening by the pool or enjoying a spa treatment I felt a sense of comfort. We also visited the Tiruparapu Waterfalls, Rubber plantation factory and Outdoor activities nearby. Our room was cleaned regularly during our stay and I must thank the house keeping staffs and the ladies from its department who kept our room tidy. We also had an opportunity to meet the General Manager Mr.Kannan who was so kind enough to take care of us. Even on the day of our checkout we had a train that departed early, he made sure that we there on time by providing us a cab and an early morning breakfast even at 5 in the morning. I also want to thank Mr.Suresh Kumar and Mr.Yesudos for taking very good care of us throughout our stay. Overall, my stay at Anantya Resorts was nothing short of wonderful. The combination of the professional staffs, the natural sceneries, the exceptional food, and the inviting ambience created a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.

Great resort in the southern part of India. The location of the resort, views from the room, cleanliness, and amenities were fantastic. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a large variety of food from authentic south Indian to continental offerings. Dinner did not meet the Avantya standard, and it definitely could be improved.

Beautiful resort. Pool overlooking the lake. Rooms are beautiful with each having their private sitout area with a small lotus pond. The bathing area outside was a unique point for the room. The resort is quite scenic with lots of instagrammable points, most famous being the swing in the lake. Lots of indoor and outdoor recreational activities available within the resort along with a small pen for rabbits and birds. Breakfast options were very limited but the taste was fine. Price a little higher compared to other resorts in the area.

This resort is located in a serene n beautiful place. It's a wonderful resort to go for a vacation. It's situated in the catchment area of Chittar lake amidst the rubber plantation. Kids have many amenities to play and enjoy. They have a big infinity pool which was clean n well maintained. We were staying in Veda pool villa which had a pool n jacuzzi in the villa. Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms with toiletries. They even have a cycling path, indoor n outdoor games, swing in the lake(must visit) n spa too. Food was good. Breakfast buffet had a good spread. Lunch and dinner had limited options. The management n staff were polite n co-operative. Thanks to Mr. Anil who explained us about rubber plantations. Altogether we had a great time in the resort.

Amazing location and the villa was pretty good. All rooms face the lake. Their food was also very nice and nominal rates. If you want to relax without going for a sightseeing this place is the best. Added advantage - you ll not be able to use your mobile network as there is only BSNL network. They do have Wi-Fi availability in the room.

Resort is surrounded with Lovely scenic. It has clean pool, Very good buffet, nice climate, friendly staff and very clean rooms, good activity area. We can visit with family and enjoy the place. Every area of the resort is maintained cleanly. All these justify the high room price.

The best resort I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous rooms with breathtaking view. The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a resorts . Resort is located at the best spot between the hills and lake, So it's very peaceful, calm. Best place to relax. Food was decent and priced correctly. Drivers are given with accommodation and food, which was nice. But the fact about the resort is everything is nicely planned, but everything needs a major maintenance from a simple hair dryer to jacuzzi is in broken state. Cycles are in uncommentable bad state. And the front desk attitude is not that great, like when we say something is not working, their attitude is like we can't help since we have continuous booking. For the price point paid, This is not something expected.

Location is amazing and the resort offers good facilities for guests. Food is tasty and the staff at the restaurant is helpful. We took Veda and Prana rooms , however felt Veda room we stayed requires maintenance. Also suggest to have more sign boards to locate the resort. Overall a clean and nice place to spend time with our near and dear.

A Must visit for nature lovers. Located in Kanyakumari District, amidst rubber plantations this is a heaven with excellent services rendered. Though it seems expensive, once you experience it you cannot deny that it's worth the amount well spent on a holiday or special occasion. Individual. Cottages with private spaces elevate this location for a unique experience. There would be a lot of walking so those with knee joint pains may use the battery operated cars provided in the premises. Suitable for corporate gatherings away from urban buzz. Special events like Honeymoon, family time etc can be planned. Usually it's occupied 70% so advance booking is advised.

  • 5/5 Dhyana L. 1 year ago on Google
I would give it 10 stars. Stayed in Prana Jacuzzi Cottages with a private hut, a lotus pond, and a great lake view from the bedroom itself. The hospitality was really amazing. Magnificent view of Chittar Lake and mountains. They will personally call you to remind us of the meals and snacks and serve them to the hut if needed. Free guided trip to the rubber plantation. Truly mesmerizing!!

Wonderful ambiance. I visited this place on a Christmas eve for a lunch buffet, the place is simply awesome in terms of ambiance and customer service. Got ample amount of car parking space, spacious ground of games and excellent of an evening walk. The food was also really good and lot of option in the buffet menu. Since I stay very close to this resort, I didn't bother taking a room, but for people coming from far away places this is an absolute place of spending some quantity time. Highly recommended.
