👍👍 May 2023: Stopped by for a few salads and a flight of 🍻. Salads were tasty. I had the falafel 🧆 salad and I thought the balance of ingredients was perfect. I'm a big fan of hazy IPAs. There weren't any hazy IPA choices so I tried the pale ale, the hazy session IPA, the milkshake IPA and the A'A... Fun brewery, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Loved the cider and seltzer options- especially the dragon fruit! The kitchen was closed the day we went but it sounds like they have good food options. Lots of seating outside to enjoy the weather.

There weren't any hazy IPA choices so I tried the pale ale, the hazy session IPA, the milkshake IPA and the A'A IPA. Everything was solid. I thought the session was very nicely made. Lots of lemon peel pith flavors that is more complex than the typical session IPA. I also thought the pale ale was very nice 👍. Overall, would come back again for more local 🍻!

Found this brewery on a recent trip to the big island. Good selection of beers with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating; my visit despite being on a weekend night wasn't that busy. Perhaps it was because it was around the time of sunset and I'm sure the majority of visitors are picking somewhere a little more scenic to take it all in? Just note that parking is extremely limited, so likely you'll be parking along the side of the road. On another note, if I had to choose between here and Kona Brewing around the corner, I would pick this place each time.

Nice brewery with some interesting and delicious beers! Great if you're a fan of IPAs that have a bit of a twist. Very hip atmosphere. Staff was friendly. There is some outdoor seating but it can be limited.

Amazing atmosphere! There was a wide selection of drinks (beers, seltzers, ciders, and hard juice) and the food was delicious! I would 10/10 recommend stopping by!!

This is a great brewery! It made me wish I lived locally. They’ve got great beer and flatbreads. I think it’s cool that they also have hard seltzers and hard teas. The patio is spacious. My only complaint is that the view on the patio isn’t that great.

I was exited to try this brewery. My intention was to drink through the beer tap list via flights. I asked the beer tender to start lightest to darkest, and only give me about 2 oz. pours, since I was drinking them by myself. I got my first flight of four, full 4 oz. pours. He never checked in with me to ask what I liked or didn’t like, or like, or what I might like to drink next. I ended up sampling three beers after the flight. You have to pay for any samples over 2. Beer was subpar overall. Seems like they have a big crowd that enjoys their seltzers and hard juices, but I didn’t try those. Cool atmosphere. I wish the service was better.

This Brewery had a great selection of beers, juices and food. It is the 1st brewery on the Big Island in Hawaii. Although we did not eat the food. It looked very good. My husband and grown son love to go to brewery’s and get flights to taste the different profiles and flavors in the beers. However I did like the juices they make. BTW the staff is incredible. Felt so welcome and they keep it so clean. Knowledgeable.

Large menu selections from seltzer, cider to beers coupled with a large tasting room with a good food menu. You order at the bar and they will bring it out to you. It was a little busy when we can, so our ordered were mixed up and an item did not show up. The drinks were fun, but no real stand out of the 8 we tried. Great artwork on the rooms and especially in the lounge area where the merchandise can be found.

This place offers a delightful experience for beer enthusiasts. The diverse selection of craft brews caters to various tastes, showcasing the brewery's commitment to quality. The laid-back atmosphere and scenic location enhance the overall visit, making it a must-try for those seeking a unique blend of good beer and a relaxing setting.

This place is the best. We love a great brewery and this is it. It has a local feel and a wide range of beverages. They have beer, hard seltzer and hard juice!!! The juice was fantastic. I’ve a total convert. Plus the food is great. HIGHLY recommend the burger with fries. It is family friendly and the swag is fab. Also reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and made great recommendations. Visit this place!!

My favourite brewery in our islands. Nice that they have different sizes of glasses from which to choose, so you can try any number of beers.

Our fave place, a weekly visit for excellent food and great beer! The staff is amazing, especially Zak and Katie. Try the Ola burger. It's a family favorite. Fingers CROSSED that they bring in a veggie patty *soon* so that I can enjoy one too. 🤞

The Ola Burger is a very well executed smash burger. Two patties and two slices of American cheese. Delicious. At $13 I'd buy it again no question, even though it doesn't come with a side. The Lilikoi lime milkshake beer is yummy and satisfying. The outside tables are very sticky and there's no wifi. Other than that, seems like a good brewery. If I lived in the area it'd probably be one of the places I go to regularly. Worth checking out if you're visiting. Tip: pretty nice sunset view if you seat yourself at the end of the patio.

Lovely staff, great beers, and lots of ciders! You don't always find many ciders but they have 4 on tap. Lots of outdoor seating and a lovely venue overlooking their operations. Unfortunately no tours going on due to staffing but can try to look down and make your best guesses!

A very nice experience and our favorite brewery on the island! We came in a few times; once on a Saturday and once on a Sunday knowing the kitchen would be closed - so we brought poke bowls and our dog. Great wide selection of beers and all pretty tasty! We loved the ability to make a flight with anything - beers, seltzers and ciders. They were also VERY welcoming of our pup and the server even brought him some ice water! Very kind service and great food and alcohol selection! We would come back here many times over.

Great choices of beer and pupus! Came on a Tuesday when there was food (Sunday didn't have food as well as a different day that we came) and the NBA playoffs were on! Got the 16 oz Ma'a Lager and 13 oz Triple IPA as well as fries with the Ola sauce (mayo, paprika, pickles, etc.- very good).

In general - love their seltzers (especially the vanilla + orange). Very tasty and trendy options! Finally visited the actual brewery. It was neat to be able to look down on the brewery and massive barrels! This was a nice touch. Other than this, the restaurant area itself is a little plain + lackluster. It was nice that they were doing a Halloween movie night in the back room and that we were invited! I tried the "Witch's Brew" cocktail- which was cute, but a bit boring. It was just one of their standard brews with a bit of syrup poured in. I guess I expected/wished for something aa little more intricate/halloween-y/unique. Friendly/helpful staff!

Creative and delicious beers combined with a solid menu makes this place a must visit when you are on the Big Island! They offer seltzers and ciders for those that prefer it to beer.

Several friends and I recently vacationed on the Big Island. Our very first stop after landing was Ola Brew. And our very last stop the night before flying home was... Ola Brew. After a week and a half on the island, Ola beers were quite unanimously our favorites. The tap room itself is well appointed and the staff was warm and friendly. The beer was readily available at stores throughout the island, enabling us to enjoy while on the beach or at our house. If you enjoy (craft) beer and are on the Big Island this is a must-visit. They also have a taproom with excellent food in Hilo.
