This is not your "typical" euros and hummus Greek food. This is an EXTRAORDINARY restaurant that rivals the best food in New York or Los Angeles. The meat trio platter showcases their skill in every category as the meat will be cook and seasoned perfectly and is juicier than a summer peach. The seafood, the rice, the salads, basically everything is jaw dropping, but really the show stopper here is the meat, the chicken, the steak they are on a whole nother level!

This is the best restaurant in the area. If your able to just walk in without a reservation count yourself lucky. The restaurant is family owned and both brother's operate it. One brother is the cook and the food he creates is pure magic, look at my pictures they speak for themselves...

From when I walked in to when I left the restaurant, I was amazed. The door was opened for me and got a warm greeting from the owner. He took the time to understand what I had a taste for and made great suggestions. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I loved the music in the background. The food was delicious. This is great restaurant! Don't wait to experience it.

Staff is consistently friendly and food is excellent. The wait times have never been bad and you get a feee shot at the end of your meal. They are cash only.

We’ve been going to Berg Athos for almost two years and it’s our favorite restaurant in K-town. Nerco is the most welcoming host, and we always enjoy getting to see him again and enjoy a shot of his homemade ouzo. Our favorite plates are the lamb popsicles, steak with peppercorn sauce and the Greek salad. Everything we have had is spectacular. This a must- visit when in Kaiserslautern!

We had a lovely dinner with friends. We were glad to have reservations since each table was reserved. Food and drink were great. We recommend the eggplant appetizer and each of our meals was delicious.

Definitely one of the top restaurants in the area. Each time I've been has been excellent service, great food, and delicious wine. Try the Corfu Filletsteak medium rare and it will definitely be one of the best steaks you've ever had. 5/5

Very tasty. Very Greek. Loved it. Cozy small restaurant with outstanding care and food. The Juvezi vom gyros is a very good oven baked meal. Great for dinner size, a little big foe lunch. Well worth the price.

A wonderful, unexpected surprise. We were greeted with a smile and though they were busy they were able to seat us with a time limit. (Lesson learned … Make a reservation). All of our food was plentiful and full of flavor. Salads, meat dishes, grilled peppers and fries were robust. Atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Will return. A definite must in KTown!

Went there tonight. We didn't have a reservation, which you really should get, but they were able to fit us in. Ordered drinks and our meals. There was a mixup on my drink but they made it up to us which is the really important thing in a situation like that. I had the lamb chops and all the food was really good. This place is on our list of restaurants to go to again!

One of our favorite local Greek restaurant. It's not a large restaurant so if you're not an early dinner person I should make a reservation. Keep in mind that you have to pay in cash, if you forget (what happens to me more than ones) there is an ATM close by. The owner is friendly and you get an ouzo (Greek shot) at the end of your dining. You'll say yamas (as the Greek cheers) to each other before you empty it. Anyway it's a save choice if you like to eat Greek food.
