This is a great hotel to stay in especially coming from the States. The bar is great at night with the drinks being a great price, the service from the staff and the large contingency from the service around. Eric P made this trip a truly lifetime experience for our boys who play soccer back home. He was more than gracious with talking to them about the game and his experiences and even took time to kick the ball around with them in the parking lot after getting off at 10 PM one night. He was truly awesome! The whole staff is very friendly and speaks much better English than I speak German and were happy to help with Taxis and answer all of our questions while we were there. It’s about 30 Euros round trip to the train station which made it much cheaper than driving. There is also a bus stop near by that will get you to the station in about 30 minutes. The breakfast was fresh and definitely a huge cost saver during the week.

The hotel is comfortable, aestic with great staff. The location is a bit odd, but that's mostly due to the construction right now. Highly recommend. 😊

This place is a hidden gem in Germany. The hotel is very nice and the bathrooms have heated floors. I especially felt very welcomed by Sanka. Pro tip, ask him for the Lemon Drop!

Sanka, the bartender, was AMAZING. He gave me recommendations and tips for where to visit during my stay based on what I was looking to do. He was so kind and professional, and even invented “The Lemon Drop” drink which was SO good! I highly recommend you try it!

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. Definitely one of the better American style hotel in Europe. Great breakfast in the morning.

Air Con doesn't get very cold. Rooms are small and only 25% have a mini fridge available. Bring your own bottled water/drinks as the vending machine is insane prices. Parking charge has recently increased +40% from 5 euro to 7 euro/night. Pure greed and insanity money grab.

Booked an online room with a pet, later that day I realized my dog couldn't come so I called the hotel to let them know (room rate of €100+ vs €89 w/out pets) my dog wouldnt be there and my room rate should be different. The woman I spoke to on the phone said no problem, but my IHG app did not update so I anticipated an issue upon checkin. Of course when I go to check-in none of the conversation was reflected BUT the man at the check-in desk was really helpful and waived my €7 parking fee and offered a drink at the bar. I was happy that he was able to make this change with the parking and I paid for my room at check-in. Fast forward to the next morning I go to check-out and the next guy wants to charge me for parking, so I explained the whole situation and he finally just said "OK, it's fine" after me being persistent about everything and telling him hey, I already paid yesterday when I checked in. Also, how can you charge for parking if you don't even close the gates? False sense of security since only 1 out of 2 gates are closed. They also do not do on-line checkin or checkout which is a waste of time. Probably would not stay again, the breakfast was OK, nothing special.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are nice and spacious. Breakfast is a spread of various goodies. The rooms do not have irons but the bathroom floors are heated!

MILITARY MEMBERS ... Check your receipt! It is NOT per diem rates! I specifically asked for government rates. IHG Representative stated $205 per night. I reviewed my receipt and noticed $241 and $290 charges. I explained this to the manager, by the way ... VERY RUDE! Told me I received an automated system. It's not true; I said if it was automated, I wouldn't have been able to discuss options and room rate! He said there wasn't anything he could do. Asked to speak with another manager in which he replied that they're constantly changing. No surprise if they have an attitude like him! Rooms are nice. However, there is no microwave or refrigerator, so keep that in mind. Service is wonderful, with the exception of management. Didn't even offer a solution. 3☆for rest of staff. Breakfast if offered. Deli cuts, pastries, hard boiled eggs, fruit, pancakes, tomatoes, cucumbers, yogurt, etc ... overall, very nice selection and fruit always fresh!!! IHG is assisting in resolving this. This manager on duty at 0700 on 22 September 2023 needs additional training or placed into a different position like maintenance where he doesn't interact with guests!!! I'd recommend this hotel. IHG Representatives need to confirm that prices will not fluctuate with the hotel if the individual asks for per diem rates.

The hotel was very modern looking, and the room was clean. Service excellent. Departed early before breakfast hours, but staff had breakfast to go for us. The only negative was the room size, and location, nothing within walking distance for food. Would recommend.

I have stayed here many times while on business in the area, and this hotel is excellent. Fresh pastries at breakfast, good service, and easy parking. I highly recommend it!

We were there for 4 weeks in a business trip and the food in the first two weeks was underwhelming and far from enough. There was no laundry facilities offered or anything nearby. The rooms were as you would expect and the staff friendly.

Good clean rooms. Disappointed that it did not have a refrigerator in the room. Excellent service personnel. Would stay here again despite the refrigerator.

Rooms were nicely sized and clean. The bar is a nice touch with great prices. However for a lengthy stay I recommend either bringing enough clothes for the stay or staying somewhere else as there is not a laundry service at the hotel. A minifridge in the rooms would be a nice touch as well. Good stay for a short period. Not so much for a weekor more TDY.

AC DOES NOT WORK. Dont expect AC to work in this hotel and look for another hotel if that is your primary necessity, especially being in the heat of the summer. I brought this up to the staff several times and they told me first that its very slow to cool and takes some time. After the second night, they offered to open my window all the way, which requires a key and a letter to be signed by the customer due to the possible safety issues that could be incurred. The staff IS very friendly, professional, courteous, and the bar is a nice convenience. Everything is a good distance away and requires a bare minimum of 10-15 minutes walking for the gas station convenience store and a total of at least 40 minutes to the real outskirts of Kaiserslautern, where you can get food outside of convenience stores. The bus stop was not very helpful and appears to less convenient than just walking. On the plus side, i logged 16,000 steps of walking from the hotel to town and back so didn’t need a workout that day.

The hotel Staffs are friendly and excellent. Cleanliness is awesome. Breakfast is not bad, although I do wish they also had a selection of American-style breakfasts (Scramble Eggs/ Bacon e.t.c). Plenty of restaurants are available within walking distance.
