Posted just after discharge: Pretty Good Doctors. The rooms and compound are pretty neatly managed. The cases are handled by set of well experienced doctors, which will give confidence to the patients. They explained in detail the procedures and will hear us with patience. PR department is very calm and composed to hear the patients. There’s loads of scope for improvement in the attitude of Nurses and other supporting staff. Nurses are supposed to be friendly and calming for patients. But many of them felt like in a government job. Hospital can improve the system of handling the wheelchair. My wife had to wait for 10 to 15 minutes in wheelchair for someone to pull it. Nurses don't pull it or they won't allow the bystander to operate it for some reason. It would have been better if hospital can implement a feedback system, so that they will get response at the same time. Posted almost 1 month after discharge: I felt really bad in selecting CIMAR for my wife's laparoscopy. They've done the procedure considerably well, other than the stitches after the procedure. Before discharge, they had shown and explained the procedure video. We were relieved to leave the hospital with good service. Then we went to a nearby nursing home to remove the stitches after a week suggested by the doctors. The nursing home is ran by a family friend. Seeing the stitches itself they told us it was not done by a surgeon. 3 stitches were ok, but in the large 1, the closing was done mis aligned. Even after a month the wound is not healed yet and she's in bed rest and can't wake up without external help. I called to inform this, the pr ppl told they will come back after informing the doctor. Still now, I haven't received any sort of responses from them. I won't suggest for a laparoscopy procedure there, due to the highest sort negligence they are showing to patients.

Excellent P.R.O and Nurses Team- They are amazing , but the doctor needs to spend less time on Instagram and more time with his patients. Consultations are just for 2 minutes with a panel of β€˜judges’ (other doctors) staring at your face. Was not comfortable at all with that .

Even though it is famous for infertility treatment you have to take care of some things when you go here. I will list out those below, it will be a lengthy one, but i am sure that will benefit any one going here for a treatment. The head Gopinathan doctor is a very kind person who has sound knowledge and good experience in the field, the same is for some of the other doctors as well. The pediatric section is one of the best services you can avail from here. Doctor Lalith and Thomas Renjith are very good doctors. We started a consultation here in 2015 and we got our first baby in 2017. It was doctor Divya jose in Moms block who treated us and she is exceptionally talented and a kind hearted person. She is one of many doctors who did not see this profession as a business. Unfortunately she left here after 2017 and a new doctor came in Moms block, doctor Shine Mary Kunha. So when we went for a second treatment, the doctor Shine treated us and she conducted 3 consecutive IUIs in 3 consecutive months which is something not recommended in medical services. I think she just want to make some profit for hospital and not the result. When you go for a treatment there, try to take a second opinion and then undergo trestment. Else you will lose your money. So my advice in short will be don't go to Moms block if you want a treatment from here, instead go to the main block and consult any doctor there. I wrote this from my 7 years of experience with them.

Cimar is the best hospital in Kochi for pregnancy, delivery and post natal care. I was blessed with my daughter here on September 2021. My gynecologist Dr. Shine Mary was very supportive and confident throughout my pregnancy journey. She always cleared all my doubts and guided me correctly through this beautiful journey. All the nurses in the labour room as well as in the MOM ward are extremely good and helpful. We are really very happy with the service from this hospital.

The most judgmental and insensitive doctor I have ever consulted in my entire life!!! Mr KK Gopinath. He charged whopping 3000 Rs for consultation alone and we thought he might be that great. We have been consulting multiple doctors in Bangalore and decided to visit Mr Gopinath for an opinion, based on our parent's suggestion, and needless to say I regret going there, waking up 5 AM in the morning and travelling all the way from Kannur to Edappal. He is too old, blindly privileged and regressive to even continue in the medical field and its high time he retire. The consultation room had this person Gopinath and 2 other lady doctors to accompany him. Right after telling the first sentence that we've been TTC, he started asking insensitive questions and judgements and what not! I was shocked to see how a doctor of his age and experience speak to his patients this way and he was not even letting me finish my sentences. I did tell him this is not how you treat your patient , but sadly I broke down emotionally in front of that guy.I should've actually left the room the moment he started showing his regressive mindset. I really wanted to file an official complaint against him, but just because I don't have the time & energy to go behind that, I did't do it. But if at-least one person reads this, just know that he is not worth your visit.Your mental health will be ruined by this doctor. And I'm not sure why on earth those 2 lady doctors are forced to sit next to him and see this torture , don't they know his way of dealing with patients are extremely toxic and unprofessional???? You are learning from the worst doctor ever let me warn you. Just experience and age do not deserve respect. Character does. he might've successfully made people have babies at his prime, but that doesn't make him a good doctor. Please consider other centers like Aster, Manipal or Amrita and stay away from this family run regressive hospital. And Mr Gopinath, you should know your privilege and understand that, without getting to know the partner well enough and without being financially secure, trying to have babies right after marriage is stupidity. And know that patients who visit you are already sad, it is a basic skill of a doctor to be empathetic towards their patients. Your job is not to show that you are the greatest doctor in this filed who knows everything- only an insecure person do that. First do not do any harm, isn't that you learned first year in medical school? You have done enough harm to me with one single consultation, and for me you don't deserve to be called as a doctor! Sorry to say this.

It's a cute place in my opinion. From the moment you step in until you exit , an utter professionalism is seen through different departments. 99. 9% people are polite and respectful. Happy to see they are expanding boundaries and facilities. Sometimes in admin level if you don't get something as expected just ask them and it will be taken care of. And I guess this is how anyone should do service and business ; the way you can manage at its best and the quantity that you can manage with quality. Quite impressive benchmark of quality they follow and the standard set is pretty good.

One of the top maternity hospitals in Kochi. Doctors are, mostly, exceptionally skilled and are extremely caring about the patients' wellbeing. Staff again, generally, are very approachable. Crowded at times, it's a bit of chaos here. Guess I think that's the plight of all good hospitals. My comments are only from maternity and paediatrics perspectives. I hear Cimar is a trusted fertility hospital too.

We were referred to CIMAR by a friend and are so glad that we went there for treatment. We have struggled with infertility for a while, after consulting the best doctors in Kochi we decided to visit CIMAR. From the first visit onwards we were given a positive point of view, while not getting our hopes up. Started with meeting Dr. Karthika who guided us on all details and understood our medical history, next we met Dr. Parasuram and the IVF team, they always told us our chances but remained positive. We were extremely lucky to convince in the first round of IVF, I had a seamless experience of egg retrieval and embryo transfer with excellent pre and post op staff and anaesthetist Dr. Sunil. Post that we were moved to Dr. Bijoy and Dr. Afshana who were our Gynaecologists, also Dr. Meenu who did every scan and I had the most comfortable experience with all of them. Finally my delivery which was via C-Sec was handled beautifully, I was very comfortable and confident and cannot thank the nurses and doctors enough. The post delivery care is also very good and my husband, baby and I were very comfortable throughout our stay. Overall I am indebted and thankful to CIMAR and the entire team for this priceless gift they have given us. We are now consulting Dr. Thomas for our baby. If you are yearning to start your family and having trouble then THIS is the place to go to for help and hope. Experienced doctors and empathetic staff.

The pediatric service at CIMAR is the best in kochi, maybe even in Kerala. We had a small complaint to them and it was taken care very fast and with great feedback regarding what changes that have been made. Totally satisfied with them and will continue on with their services for the foreseeable future.

Very neat. Good hospital in general. But very disappointed with the attitude of the Doctor who showed up after delivery. Although the results were well within the limits, the doctor prescribed expensive treatment for my baby and used insulting words when we refused the treatment. He was not even ready to listen to us. Very bad experience. I am reporting this incident after 2.5 years since I felt it should not be ignored.

After an extensive search for the right hospital, I finally discovered CIMAR and sought consultation with Dr. Parasuram and his team of doctors. Thanks to their expert treatment, I was blessed with the joy of conceiving twins. Throughout the entire process, the attitude and approach of the entire medical team, particularly Dr. Parasuram, Dr. Bijoy, and Dr. Afsana, were not only comforting and friendly but also instilled great confidence in me. I must express my heartfelt appreciation to the nursing staff and the PRO for their exceptional care and support during my time at the hospital, especially when I was admitted for a few days during the procedures. Their dedication and compassion made a significant difference in my experience. A special mention is reserved for Nursing staff at Observation Room, Mary Jisny, whom I met at the beginning of my journey with CIMAR. Right from the start, she surpassed my expectations by providing unwavering support, confidence, and guidance. She has been there for me like a true friend not only throughout my entire time at CIMAR but even after I shifted to another hospital for my convenience. Staff members like Jisny are the real gems of any hospital, and I feel fortunate to have met her. Her exceptional care and support have made a lasting impact on my life, and I will always cherish the bond we've formed, both with her and with CIMAR.

I'm really happy to express my opinions about "CIMAR the Women's Hospital" as a spectator with my relative. They are treating a large number of patients in a systematic way with highly skilled and knowledgeable doctors. One more thing I want to mention is how outstanding the staff's behaviour is and how devoted they all are, especially PROs.I would wholeheartedly advise anyone in need of therapy for infertility or other gynaecological concerns to go to CIMAR.

Experience from 2019 which was raised with the hospital and it went completely ignored by management - I am a second time mum and found out I was pregnant just last night. Today my husband and I excitedly came to your hospital. It was all going well and we saw Dr.Divya. There was a bit of waiting in seeing her and we were happy to wait. She was lovely and then we proceeded to the ultrasound department. From there my bad experience began. I was called with two other women into the ultrasound room (which was crowded with people already). From there I was handed a cloth (not a gown) and I was told to take my jeans and underwear off. This is absolutely fine, except there was no privacy to do that. There was a lady changing behind a tiny curtained cubicle and the nurse there expected me to change in front of her. The first time she told me I was a bit flabbergasted and told her there is someone changing there already. The second time she told me I told her I shall change once the other patient leaves the cubicle. When the other lady went, I stepped in and took my bottom part of the clothes off, the nurse instead of giving me privacy, decided to peak in and see if I had changed my clothes. Merely asking would have been sufficient. I then stepped out into the scan area where the transvaginal scan was about to take place and the horrible ordeal didn't end there. I was asked to lay down on the seat while numerous doctors walked in and out of the room from the door directly placed in front of where I was laying legs up with my vagina exposed. I was going to chew on my pride and self worth and go ahead with the scan and requested for my husband's presence. However the Dr.Divya said it was hopsital protocol that no one accompany the patient. Please excuse me while I point out how far far behind you are in your patient care. A medical professional should always make sure patients are treated with the utmost respect ,dignity and empathy, I found your hospital staff and protocol to be extreamly poor. Even after the complaint was raised no one got in touch and there was no words of apology. Please educate yourselves and your staff about importance of patient privacy and dignity.

2visits. Really need to work on appointment system. If you are ready to wait for 3 hours to meet the doctor for 5 minutes please go ahead. They don't have an appointment system. Will update remaining based on my meeting with the docs here. Update: I got a reply that the senior doctor is available only on Monday and that's why there is no appointment. Please note I even tried to book an appointment for scan and they said there is no concept of appointments in this hospital. So please be ready to spend at least 3 to 4 hours in queue.

I have been to CIMAR twice, both same experience, went for my NT and Anomaly scan. Scan was good but both times consultation was pathetic. They have not bothered to check me or take my vitals or anything. Guess since its fetal medicine dept. They are bothered only about the fetus, not about the Mother who is the life force of that baby. I guess they can start a separate scaning section, why charge 500/- for consultation when u cant be bothered to care for the patient even for 2 mins.

Please save your time and money and don't go to this hospital. We went to CIMAR Ernakulam hospital a months ago in hope of a good treatment for our fertility related issues. But we both were disappointed by the Doctors behavior and attitude. They are just some bunch of old, outdated doctors who are expecting some 18 year old to come with fertility issue. They will disrespect you and discourage you of your decision to have a baby. We both were totally disappointed & lost all our hopes We were discouraged to such extend that we literally doubted the decision for having a baby was not right for us. For second opinion we went to CRAFT hospital Ernakulam. Things totally changed positively. Believe me this is not some kind of advertising. They directly focused on our issues & found the solution. Our problems was the most common one that 80% couples go through in their infertility journey. This is our 5th week of treatment and both our results are going positively forward. Where CIMAR made that 80% of common issue faced by couples made us looked like 1% of impossible thing to solve We see doctor bcos there is something we can't solve it by ourselves and we hope that doctors will guide us to right direction and will solve our problem with their experience and their education. But as they say no amount of education or experience will teach you how to behave. It goes same to the doctors of CIMAR. Couples with infertility goes through alot of emotional & physiological issue and we are expecting doctors to be honest for sure but at same time to be kind and polite rather than being a bully. The purpose of this review is not to degrade anyone or any institutions rather I honestly doesn't want anyone or any couple to face, what felt on that day.

Commenced my fertility journey at CIMAR filled with hope, attracted by the friendly staff and positive reviews. Dr. Parashuram leading the infertility department was a deciding factor, but sporadic interactions and an unexpected session with his senior (later revealed to be his father) resulted in a less-than-ideal experience. He suddenly suggested IVF and that left me feeling at a loss, and despite harboring numerous questions, the uncomfortable conversation hindered further discussion. My consulting Dr was Dr Parashuram and his unavailability during crucial consultations made me very uncomfortable .The absence of a token system prolonged my wait, only to discover Dr. Parashuram’s unavailability. Meeting him just once in three months left me yearning for more consistent care. For my pregnancy journey, comfort is pivotal, and CIMAR’s specialization in fertility treatment fell short of delivering the personalized care my high-risk case requires. Wishing CIMAR success in enhancing patient experiences.

I had a great experience with Cimar Cochin Hospital. My baby girl was born on 28.07.2022.Doctors are highly professional and clearly communicate all the necessary details if the patients cooperate well.I felt the doctors were little preoccupied with their consultation and had very little time for room visit after the delivery.Nursing care after the delivery was exceptional and the Public Relationship team also supported very well.

The doctors & staff nurses were always helpful & friendly. Any doubts, we can approach them freely. This hospital is always maintained really well. The services offered by the hospital staff (especially the PROs) is also commendable. My overall experience with CIMAR, Kochi was wonderful.

With great gratitude first of all we salute the whole doctors and nursing staff&other dedicated staff of Cimar for giving us a colourful life . We are blessed with a baby boy on 10th November 2021 after a long period, 13 years of depression. First of all we remember Dr. Ramesh who guided us to Cimar. Then Dr.Karthika and Dr.Parasuram who patiently advised and console us in our hopeless life to a new path. Dr.Betty even though little serious become a mediator to GOD for us. Dr.Meenu Batra find the minute changes of our baby with her magical finger tips. Dr.Parvathy became the hands of Almighty to gave us our little Prince. After the birth our baby was safe in the hands of Dr.Laleet Sadanandan&Dr.Thomas Renjith who gave utmost care in NICU. I felt the whole nursing staff in NICU became the mothers of our baby with their gentle touch. We would thank the whole crew members to be the visible God's to couples like us. Then remembering the HR members Smt.Sindhu Menon who pleasantly dealing the affairs is remarkable. We could not remember the other staff members with their names, but could not forget their faces. Smt Indu Sreejith who is my sister was our backbone during 2015 to 2021 whose presence became a great relief even in my crisis situations. I felt that alll the cleaning staff and canteen staff was sincerely attending each patient .The security staff and the Momshop staff also was pleasing. The services rendered by the whole staff was worth remembering . And for all these we thank Dr.Gopinathan Sir for giving new life to couples like us .
