It's a simple, small and out dated park, suitable for families with young kids. Our kids enjoyed several rides and had a wonderful day. Fries, drinks and ice cream are included. The kids enjoyed the circus show. It's good to know that animals are involved (camels, dogs and horses) in case you prefer a circus without animals acts. In the nuclear power plant, there's a playground. But I couldn't believe how dirty it was!!! There's water that hasn't been cleaned for years. It's pitch dark and garbage is just floating. There is garbage in the sand, the area where kids are suppose to play. And the climbing parts are incredibly dusty. It's unbelievable this is part of a park and management does not care to clean it up. I will not return and don't recommend visiting this park.

We visit the Kernie's last week with 5 Kids and we would like to say it was an amazing experience! Although it was a holiday, it was well attended, but not too crowded. For a price of just under 30 euros for adults and 25 for children, you can't complain here. You hardly ever had to queue anywhere and drinks, fries and soft ice cream are also included. For just under 100 € an incredibly great family experience.

It was a fun experience, and very nice to have unlimited access to fries, drinks and ice cream. The park itself is pretty much designed for kids, so unless you like to drink a lot of beer with your friends, or are actually organizing a kids party, this isn't the park for you.

Travelled here for a work conference 2nd week of July. Meeting facilities were good but the bedrooms were not. While the bedroom was clean it was very basic, and very hot, no hairdryer, no fans or ac, open the windows and all the bugs were coming in so they remained shut. Spent 2 very uncomfortable nights here with hardly any sleep on a rock hard mattress. Thankfully I was able to make different arrangements for the rest of my stay. Also the restaurant was full of flies and wasps. You couldn't eat without flies landing on your plate plus they were all over the serving area. Continually swatting while trying to eat. Not enjoyable.

Perfect place to stay for some time, especially with kids! Comfortable beds, professional, well trained stuff. Thousands different entertainments for all of family members, colleagues or friends. Musical events are something special. People just relaxing, talking and dancing. Rich breakfast and very tasty dinner! Recommend!

Wunderland kalkar / kernie's family park is a nice place to visit with your kids. It does not have very big / very fast rides. So if you are the one who don't like to have butterflies in your stomach then you can also try these rides. The entry fees in 33 euros per head and the parking fees is 7.5 Euros ( Its better to book the parking online beforehand as it costs 6 Euros). You don't need to carry food as fries, drinks (aerated drinks and coffee), ice creams are free of cost and unlimited. Wasser Bahn was closed due to some technical problem so could not take its ride. A small park is also present for the kids to play. A mini circus was also performed which included horses and camel and some plays.

Family Parkplatz always full. I always seeing, Young age People without Kids Parking this area often. Kaufland Management needed to take action regarding this issue.

The place is very good to visit, a lot of games, 🎪 is very good. The food and care and for sure the staff are nice.

This park is for kids below 12. Don’t expect any Phantasialand rides. Pommes, drinks and soft ice are included in the price and it is one of the best Pommes frites. Rides were operational occasionally and operational time was displayed on most of rides. There is also Go kart which you need to pay extra. If you have kids below 12, it’s good experience for 5-6 hours

Free Fries, softice and drinks...was really a fun day. Make sure your little ones are at least 1.30m tall for the faster attractions...

Free food, free drinks, free ice-cream, bruh literally a W park for me. The prizes are a little expensive but it's totally worth it, totally recommend

It's a fun park. Suitable for kids between 3-8.

It's okay, there are a good amount of rides and activities you can do and the ticket price for what you get/can do is ok. I like that you can get as many fries and Soft ice as you like. However it is mostly for very young kids. The ones over 10 or 12 could get bored after an hour or two.

The "Wunderland Kalkar" was a lot of fun! Unlimited French fries and ice cream was definitely a big plus for the kids. The rides were fun, too. The former "fast breeder" nuclear plant provides a spectacular backdrop. I would have loved to learn and see more about the power plant. Unfortunately, the museum (still advertised on the website) was closed (and apparently has been closed for a while).
