Apart from entertainment, this museum is also a very popular informative tourist destination. Entry fees are only Rs 20. They explained in great detail about the different types of honey, its uses, benefits and bees. All kinds of honey are available for taste. Then the processing unit was shown. It was described. After that the museum starts. The history of honey and each stage is explained in great detail with the help of photos and models. The scientific side of everything was explained. All kinds of honey and honey products are available there in very good quality. This is a must visit place for anyone visiting this Area.

One of the best places to buy the original honey 🍯. Good part is one gets to taste all available types of honey, balms, gels and then buy the one you like. Totally worth spending few extra rupees and buy suger free and pure honey. If one has time, must have a visit and see the machines, materials and process they use to make their products.

We had an incredible time at the Honey Museum in Wayanad! 🍯 The main attraction is a delight for kids, and they thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The museum offers a fantastic experience for families, and we even purchased the royal wax, which is a unique find. The variety of honey with medicinal value is impressive – a perfect blend of fun and health. Highly recommended for a sweet and educational day out! 👧👦🍯 #HoneyMuseum #WayanadAdventures

I went to see a honey museum for the first time in my life. The entry fee there is ₹30. But you will never miss it.. As soon as we go up, we will be told about the honey processing and many things we don't know about the bee. That will be a new knowledge for us. Similarly, we can taste different types of honey. It is the first honey museum in India. We can buy different types of honey from their outlet outside. Apart from honey, many other products can be bought there...

The entry fee is really less, and they get you a guide who explains stuff really well and are available in 5+ languages (English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Arabic) and at the end get you to taste all variety of honey. They product quality is good and is of reasonable price. They do ship it all over India over certain price.

One of the educational purposes or awareness purposes places I recommend to visit in wayanad. All the staffs are really good. They are explaining everything in detail. They split the people into different groups according to the language the customer preferred. There are individuals assigned with different languages. There are multiple products you can buy. They will give you a test sample of different types of honey. There is a 30rs pass for entry.

If in Wayanad and u hav time then you should cover this bee museum. 1st of its kind, small setup, well maintained. Has a play area for kids with swings & slides. Very educative and learned staff, they not only tell u the life cycle of bees but also the types of honey and it’s processing and finally tasting the different types. They hav a nice shop from where u can buy all the type of honey u liked and lots of other handicrafts, spices, juices, tea & coffee products. Got myself a lot of good honey, tea & spices based on their recommendations. Well spent 1hr learning about 🐝 & life.

Pros of the Honey Museum in Wayanad: Educational Experience: The Honey Museum provides a valuable educational experience for visitors, allowing them to learn about the fascinating world of bees, honey production, and the importance of bees in the ecosystem. Informative Displays: The museum features informative displays and exhibits that showcase the life cycle of bees, their behavior, and the process of honey extraction. Visitors can gain a deeper understanding of the intricate processes involved in beekeeping and honey production. Honey Tasting: One of the highlights of the museum is the opportunity to sample different varieties of honey. Beekeeping Demonstration: The museum often conducts live beekeeping demonstrations, offering visitors a chance to observe beekeepers in action and witness the handling of beehives. This interactive experience can be engaging and enlightening for both adults and children. Cons of the Honey Museum in Wayanad: Limited Size: The Honey Museum may be relatively small in size, which could limit the overall experience for visitors who are expecting a more extensive exhibition or a wider range of activities.
