Mediocre meals, especially compared to the several really good options for Indian food in the nearby neighborhoods. Note to owner: I wouldn't have bothered to leave this review except your employee rang every bell in my building, then entered and stuffed your ads inside every mailbox, all of which had signs forbidding such ads. STOP DOING THAT.

Extremely low quantity for the price. Food was also average. Ordered a gol gappa shot because nothing was filling and he didn’t even have that. Very disappointed. Useless restaurant Edit: The below picture is from a restaurant called Taj Mahal in Hamburg where we ordered a biryani that lasted 2 meals for 3 people and it was for 11 euros. Ashirwad restaurant gave not even 1/3rd of the portion and charged 16 euros.

The perfect family business Indian. The owner had great English and we felt very special by all the staff during our meal. The food was incredible and we left very full and happy haha! Also tried the local German beer which was recommended by the owner so that was a great touch adding to our trip! Thank you so much :)

Totally unsatisfied with the service. The food has the worat quality and is highly expensive. The quantity was very less. The staff did not even mind to ask for the order. And the worst thing is it has big mosquitoes all over place.Chicken and lamb was not at all well cooked. I would never recommend it to anyone. Worst restaurant ever.

I had the paneer with spinaches. It was good and in very large quantity (too much for one person). I also had a garlic naan, which was below expectation. It did not taste homemade, I was a bit disappointed and would not recommend it. Service is careful, however despite being one of the only ones in the restaurant it took about 35min for my order to arrive.

Everything was just "perfect", I have zero complaints. Minimal yet charming ambience, authentic Indian food, good music, friendly host and fast service. Couldn't get any better. I would recommend "dal makhni" if you are into vegetarian dishes.

Please don’t order any kind of food here, we ordered Paneer tikka and Entire grey was so sour. Instead of tomato they have put processed liquide. My friend order chicken Biriyani and the only rice and pieces but no spices and Gravy at all. Instead try from any other authentic restaurants. We need to support who provides nice food and eliminate the worst preparing so called these kind restaurants. I wish they should close his restaurant soon.

We love this place. Absolutely my new favorite Indian restaurant in Hamburg. We will visit every time we pass thru town. Try the menu, at €22 it’s a great value and the food is AMAZING!

One of the best Indian places i have ever eaten. No this was not the first one, but the first one i have ever reviewed. If you are going enjoy. The chicken was a good choice with the cheese naan.

The place is just ok to dine. If you are looking to experience Indianess in foo then you will be very disappointed. Can't say if this is even for European palate..it's just that food is bland and unappealing...we went a couple of times and all very simply not up to the quality expected from an expensive restaurant. Service is just ordinary. Not worth a visit since there are much better places available than this one !

Food is tasty but priced a bit high, although quantity given is fair at this price. Average atmosphere and service is good too.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and their German was very good. Indian music in the background fits the venue and style, candles on the tables make for a cozy atmosphere. The food of a single order is enough for two moderately hungry adults, and includes a large bowl of Basmati rice and another bowl with the ordered dish. Plates and cutlery are placed on the table for each guest. You can also order freshly made Chapati or Naan which is pricey but delicious. This is a good place for guests not expecting absolutely authentic Indian cuisine, but like to have a good selection of alcoholic beverages and a nice place to dine with their friends. A nice wooden high chair for small children is also available. I would give 3.5 stars, because some major things like the supposedly fresh fried Ashirwad Mix was rather bland and tasted neither 'authentic' nor fresh. The service was very nice, but not professional. The toilets are quite clean but extremely small.

Exorbitantly priced for the quantity of food. They serve very less quantity for the high price they charge. Not worth it. The quantity they give should be priced not more than 5 euro instead they charge 17 euro for 1 biriyani which is exorbitant

😠 What a beautiful view but what a horrible service. A rude incompetent server. We ordered 3 steaks and he didn’t even ask us how we would like it. All steaks came well done and dead. My mom ordered a simple salad with chicken. How can you mess that up? Wrong salad and wrong dressing. And the chicken...
