Old ancient popular jaffna's traditional building identified as old Tamil king's manthiri's home. It maybe belongs for the period of sankiliyan king. Placed near to nallur temple and on pontpedro jaffna road. A lot of visitors and tourists visit here every evenings. 300m ahead on the road there also placed a sankiliyan king's memorial place. These are also the identification of jaffna peoples.

Historic place. This king was there in 1500 AD when Portuguese come to Kotte Sri Lanka. This is a architecturally designed Palace. You can find pillers belongs to Kandyan era and stone chillers and many more exiting features. There is a ancient well devided by a wall. Unfortunately no care taker found and it seems not be renovated or preserved. Grinder cuts can be seen for wiring. Urgent maintenance and proper care is needed to this national monument.

Its a forgotten archeological location situated bit far from heart of jaffna. Noone there to take care of the place. Gates are open and anyone can go in and do anything. Sad to see it being ruinwd by some people drawing on the inside walls. Might be bit dangerous to go alone as the structure seems to be preetty old and weak.

We visited in 2020. It is not quite safe to go inside. Some parts of the building might collapse
