My
parents
had
been
raving
about
this
place
for
a
while,
so
I
finally
decided
to
give
it
a
try.
I
had
some
reservations
about
their
recommendation,
and
unfortunately,
my
visit
didn't
completely
dispel
those
doubts.
We
ordered
two
sets
of
food
and
beverages,
but
there
was
a
significant
time
gap
of
over
15
minutes
between
their
arrival
at
the
table.
I
opted
for
the
grilled
chicken,
but
to
my
disappointment,
the
fries
were
soggy,
and
the
chicken
had
an
unmistakable
frozen
meat
taste.
I
understand
that
many
places
use
frozen
boneless
thigh
meat
for
chicken
chops,
but
there
are
certainly
better
ways
to
prepare
it.
Another
issue
I
observed
was
how
the
staff
served
multiple
cold
drinks.
The
restaurant
proudly
labels
itself
as
the
most
luxurious
in
Kampar,
yet
the
staff
carried
cold
drink
glasses
like
they
were
at
a
mamak
stall.
It
wouldn't
be
too
hard
to
use
a
tray
for
a
more
upscale
presentation.
