Stayed in this Apa Hotel during my travels at Kanazawa. A very strategic location, next to the Kanazawa Station and is highly accessible to most places via trains or local buses. Very clean rooms, full facility including hot bath / spa being included during stay at hotel. Very polite, courteous and helpful staff. Note: a high 5 to the housekeeping team, making the room, very neat, clean for comfortable stays!!!

The room is small, but the hotel location is good, just next to the train station. Breakfast is very Japanese style and tastes good.

The room is the smallest business hotel room I have ever stayed. So small that I can only my open luggage on the bed. If I put it on the floor, it cannot be open flat. Plus, I will have to close it every time I go to the bathroom. I highly doubt it is meant for 2 person. The only saving grace is it is just outside the station.

Extremely loud AC - I need to wear earplugs just to sleep - and there are only 3 temperatures to choose - too cold, cold, too hot. The pillows are cheap plastic blocks of junk. The walls are thin. The onsen is not too bad, but the hours of use are limited. The carpark is limited in space - so make sure you ask whether you can get space before reserving. It is super crowded, so had to wait 5 min for a lift. I'm there now - cannot sleep and extremely disappointed. I might forgo my next night even though I've paid for it already - that's how poorly I think of this place.

Great location. Classic Japaneae business hotel sized rooms. I wanted to throw the desk chair out the window that opened an inch. The TV could be melted down to make room for a place to put my socks. Great service. Breakfast is decent.

I used to live in an APA hotel during my business trip, so I know about the standard of the hotel as it’s a budget hotel. This time I stayed for almost 2 weeks in Kanazawa; I didn’t hesitate to choose this hotel because of its location and onsen. The onsen was excellent both indoors and outdoors. However, I couldn’t sleep well at night because I heard the sound from the train station until midnight, and I heard some jazz music from some bar near the hotel at night. Also, when I checked in, it took more than 30 minutes to wait. Next time I go to Kanazawa again, I may not choose this hotel because it’s too noisy.

In the Hotel's word this is SIMPLIFIED LUXURY!!! NOT!Though the facts are this room was the smallest hotel room we have ever had. No luxury or even a usb port. For $482 aud for the night, we considered it was a rip off. We struggled to get our 2 bags in the room. The bed was a small double with only one accessable side so I needed to climb over my partner to get out of it. We will be avoiding APA hotels in future.

Clean, quiet more space, staff are friendly. There's a luggage store before checkin. Need more staff that fluent in English. Price are moderate. Near from bus terminal to go to Shirakawa-go. Near from Kanazawa station

Great location and good rooms, although they can be tiny if you're tall. I'm small, so it was ok for me. Comfortable beds, great onsen area, with a nice rest area to wait while doing laundry.

If you are more than 1.75m and travelling as a couple. Take a bigger room than the standard one as it is a tad small at 11 sqm. I have been an APA Hotel die-hard for more than 30years. The Onsen here is great as there are one indoor bath and two outdoor baths. It is a big Onsen. Wonderful experience during rainy days in the outdoor bath.

Overall great hotel! Although the room is a bit small compared to other business hotels. But it is super close to the train station!

Yes the rooms are even smaller than typical apa hotel, we are from Canada so the rooms r extra tiny,no room to spread out a suitcase. But put that aside because this place was perfect for us. We each got our own room since a business hotel room is not really a sharing space. I recommend getting your own room, especially since the prices are so reasonable. Onsen was fantastic, crowded but still ok. This hotel was the highlight of our entire Japan trip. Staff was courteous and polite except for one girl who is a trainee, ms Tomonobe who turned my moms airplane mode off even when my mom told her not to! And after I came to the counter she denied that anything happened and no messages came through but I checked on the spot and indeed various emails and msgs came through. It will cost my mom $20 just for the roaming charges for one day.

Staffs' attitude is little better than Apa hotel's in Osaka, but still if you aren't Japanese, they will throw you to find your own booking and register again yourself at the machine eventhough you already registered online. The young man staff doesn't speak politely to us when they found out we aren't Japanese. (He didn't know I can understand JP) and he was super moody when the register processes didn't go smoothly No professionalism, don't know how to treat customers properly. Staffs English skill : 0.5/10

Beautiful, awesome and elegant architecture, they have in-house onsen. The exterior is in sync with the Kanazawa Station. Beautiful.

Near JR station. Go to JR station only 1 min. Not expensive

The room is cozy, a little small. But fair price with hot tube, nice buffet breakfast. Still be a good choice.

It was a nice hotel. With the onsen it was great. And while it is convenient for the train station, the room was a bit tight that we had to book an extra room. But other than that, it was a great stay and as a first time traveler to Kanazawa

Conveniently located near the Train station with easy access to amenities. But room is really small and tight. Reasonable price for budget travel as it is clean and nice with free access to its inhouse onsen for hotel guests.

A receptionist took my wife's passport to scan and accidentally folded the page with her picture on it. Management here gave us a hard time about paying us for the damage especially since the passport says it should not be folded. The room we got is the most cramped I've ever been to and not worth the price for the room. Not much walking space. They also crammed the shower room with the bathroom sink and toilet. Pillows were really hard as well. However, the baths in this hotel's spa are quite good especially the open-air personal baths...very relaxing. Overall, this is a 2-star hotel.

Very, very small rooms with narrow entry and limited floor space. Air con is warm and does not cool, only pushes warm air at higher speeds so difficult to sleep. Staff suggested opening window which is fine, however noisy with constant melodies and alerts coming from the train station at all hours. So sleep is warm and stuffy or cool and noisy. Not recommended unless you are tiny or partially deaf.

Several good things about this hotel. Firstly it's proximity to the railway station, perfect if you have a rail pass. There are also some wonderful restaurants in the station complex which is literally across the road from the hotel, so eating is easy. Best thing about it for me was the Onsen, free for guests. Some days I went both morning and night - such a wonderful experience. The only criticism I have is that in the lobby there's a coffee place which allows smoking....had one coffee there and moved 3 times to avoid second-hand smoke, gave up in the end and left.

Bath and recreational area is decent. Room is very small, even for APA hotel standard. Front desk staffs are lovely and professional. Breakfast is awesome with lots of choices and seating places. It the BEST tofu I have eaten in my entire life. If the person who made the tofu, please contact me if you can. It is an unforgettable, and beautiful experience. It beats all the tofu I eaten in China, Taiwan, Malaysia, and other parts of Japan. (I had it after Christmas 2019.)
