Wow! Where to start? This is an amazing hotel in a super location. The hotel is right on Inle Lake (note it takes about 45min to reach from the airport; Sofitel kindly arranged a car for us). We had a suite with view on the lake. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom beautiful and there was a small living room too, with fruits waiting for us when we checked in. It was just perfect for a nice romantic retreat. The rooms can be quite far from the breakfast but you can call for a little golf car to pick you up (my only wish was to drive it myself!). We had a buffet with traditional Burmese food (Shan noodles were so good!), and there was a dancing show too. Breakfast was very good. The hotel can arrange boat trips to visit Inle Lake (I highly recommend the sunset with the fisherman). All the staff was super friendly and very attentive. I will be back for sure.

This was by far one of the highlights of my trip in Myanmar ! Very peaceful atmosphere in this luxury hotel where everything is done to make you feel good and warmly welcome. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are so comfy. I would have stayed more of I could. Also the location by the lake gives a touch of magic to your stay. Thanks a lot Sofitel Inle Lake, I hope to come back some day !

This is one of my memorable hotel stay. Unique location with impressive Inle lake view especially during sunset. Beautifully designed architecture of the hotel and the room. The room and hotel facilities is a real 5 stars quality. Restaurants are excellent here for both heavy breakfast and intimate dinner. If you stay here, don’t miss the sunset here from the lobby view. I would recommend you to come to this hotel by a boat, it will be memorable experience.

Amazing location and wonderful staff that make the visit extra special! Lake view rooms offer a beautiful view of Inle Lake. The room was beautifully appointed with lovely furnishings and wonderful bathroom with a great bathtub. Two restaurants to choose from and lovely bar by the lake. Grounds are also lovely to wander through and relax. Staff and management were very friendly and welcoming. Security is excellent and the resort is on a very quiet part of the Lake.

Without any doubt it's a beautiful resort hotel located directly by the lake with its own pier from which you can start a boat tour of the lake arranged by the hotel for you. My loyalty to accor was rewarded with an upgraded room with a view on the lake and a private terrace from which sunset on the lake could be admired. Staff were very accommodating and making sure we were fully satisfied.

Had a wonderful vacation for 3 days with my family. Great weather and lots of sunshine. Food was delicious and the spa was heavenly. Took 2 boat tours that the hotel organized at a reasanble rate and it was probably the best part of my trip. I highly recommend Sofitel and Inle Lake as a destination

Beautiful location, amazing views over Inle lake, excellent facilities, good rooms and perfect service. The only minus is the water pressure and temperature (cold or slightly warm) in the room. The restaurants are good, but the cuisine could be more interesting and sofisticated. The breakfasts were good. The wine selection is correct.

At there ,you can get everything what you want. You can feel the nature, organic foods, romantic and unique hospitality. I would like to suggest one thing, don't forget to see swimming pools. Yeah,The most beautiful things inside this place.

An amazing and most wonderful experience. We stayed for 12 days and the staff was really wonderful. The hotel right on the lake is peaceful and quiet. A must for everyone who want to get away from the stress of big cities. Thank you so much for an unforgettbale time.

Highly recommended. We lived on the upper level lake view suite and the view from the bathroom is just spectacular. There's also a huge balcony from which you can relax and enjoy the amazing view of Inle lake.

New hotel with excellent facilities (infinity pool, modern rooms, cinema room, piano, library) on Inle Lake. Service was excellent and most things were in superlative (quality of rooms and facilities). Management also plans a few events for guests throughout the week. Only downside is distance to town / airport which ends up costing quite a bit (one way ride into town is 14-25 USD and you probably need at least one round trip. Also, only choice of food is the hotel restaurant unless you go into town. That being said, we couldn’t complain. Also, management arranged an airport transfer when my pre-scheduled driver did not arrive.
