Excellent restaurant and great service, prepare dishes that are just right for us. Highly recommended Mexican restaurant. Clean and pleasant.

I have never really tasted much Mexican cuisine to tell if it's authentic or not. But my experience was really great here. As you walk in, the atmosphere is calm, chill and Mexican. The host is very friendly and warm. It was not crowded at the time we visited. The food took a little while to come. There was a complimentary starter to munch on while we waited. Soon after, our drinks came. The Hibiscus cooler and Horchata (good for a sweet tooth) were tasted authentic and not like some flavoured drink. After a while our Burritos, Quesdilla and Enchilada came. I tried the vegetarian Enchilada and it was satisfying. The sauces are unique and pleasant. For what they offer, the prices are quite reasonable. Definitely recommended 💯 I will come again.

Best place in Kandy to have Mexican food. We had California Burrito 10/10 ( get some hot sauce for the Mexican punch) Tacos 9/10 ( personally I wish the shell was slightly better) Mango fizz (10/10) not in the menu but they add passion fruit as well. Service was top notch. Loved the place and food. Owner was extremely friendly. Definitely coming again.

I believe this is the only Mexican Restaurant in kandy, but quite hidden making it a little bit tough to get alot of attraction. My experience was top notch.. we loved the food, to be honest i haven't tried much of mexican food but we ordered the californian burrito/ chicken enchiladas which were truly amazing and delicious. Sauces were authentic and loved it. Portion sizes were great for the price we paid. Drinks were authentic too and healthy.. Owner was very friendly..lovely atmosphere/ music and the vibe. Highly recommended and would definitely come back 🥰

Amazing place. Highly recommend. I got chicken tacos, California burrito and mango fizz. Food is tasty. This is my first Mexican food experience. Enjoyed this hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant. Wow! Los Amigos Locos has excellent food at affordable prices. I’ve tried several different Mexican restaurants around Sri Lanka, but this was the best and most authentic one yet. All of the ingredients tasted really fresh as well. We will come back again soon!

We chose to eat at this place merely for the proximity to our guest house, and did not know what to expect. However we were amazed once we set foot in the place. The interior is super cozy and pretty and it has a warm, authentic Mexican atmosphere. The friendly service adds to this. The food was delicious (we had enchiladas), in fact this was the best food we have had in Sri Lanka, for a super soft price. The beautiful garden and Mexican music were the icing on the cake. Highly recommend 10/10.

Great Mexican place. Small menu, but this was maybe the first restaurant we visited that really had everything that was mentioned on the menu 😅 Food is good and affordable. Super friendly staff.

Special mention of the "Hibiscus cooler" and "Say Anything", the flavorsome Tarcos Burritos, Chimichanga delightfully the best I've had so far in Srilanka!! Loved not just for place and food but also for service and hospitality! The fact that staff spends time with their guests to understand their preferences and to make recommendations!!

This is really a great place to have autentic Mexican food, the dining experience is superb, great menu to select from. The taste was really good and the potions were large, you can chill there with a beer as well, Very relaxing environment and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The owner Indy & his wife makes sure everyone is cared well. Hope they will add more items to the menu,I wish them the best. Want to go back soon.

Since we are in lockdown , we ordered home delivery from Los Amigos locos - Enchiladas, Quesadillas and a California burrito. They were simply delicious and so flavourful. Everything was reasonably priced too.

I had the best Mexican food of my life at Los Amigos. The tacos were perfectly cooked and soo flavorful. The service was also excellent, the waiter was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Mexican food. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Simply Amazing place, my girlfriend and I felt very welcome and that's usually hard to come by in most cafes here in Kandy/Sri lanka. Service quality was excellent and its a really nice place to go on a date to. Highly recommended. The staff is very kind and generous, and respects your privacy.

A top-notch restaurant, delivering the closest Mexican vibe you can find anywhere in Kandy. Honestly very impressed and satisfied with the service and atmosphere. We were starving and just happened to drive by Los Amigos Locos. We’re American (TX and CO) and honestly snobs when it comes to Mexican food. To have found Los Amigos was such a blessing. The food was LEGIT YUM and came out quickly. We bumped to some Bad Bunny while we waited and were on our way with smiles and happy tummies. Def worth a drive if you’re craving Mexican!

Amazing Mexican restaurant in Kandy. This was my first time but my sister and cousins had been here before. Food was excellent. We ordered Californian burrito, Chicken Enchiladas, Mushroom Quesadillas, Corn Salsa & Chimichanga with Ice Cream. Chaminda was very friendly and helpful and looked into all our needs. We will definitely visit again.
