Very natural, beautiful and peaceful place. A must visit place. Little off route, but must visit place. Nominal entry fee.

At a distance of 31 km from Dandeli and 16 km from Ulavi. Syntheri Rock is a huge, massive limestone rock.Entry to the venue is controlled by forest department. The site can be reached either by jeep or by walk through the dense forest from the entrance. At the entrance visitors need to pay nominal entry fee and vehicles can go up to the parking area from where visitors need to climb down to reach the base.There is a 15-20 minute walk from the vehicle parking to the rock.The corners of this rock cave are inhabited by numerous pigeons and honeybees.Timings: 10 AM to 5.30 PM

Vehicle parking is small and if it is crowded you will not find place to turn your vehicle. Not allowed to get into water as water force is more. Police will be there at location to guard it. Steps are there. Little difficult to aged people. Over all nice place.

Nice place and quiet. But people are not allowed inside water and it is at people’s discretion. Always carry cash to enter into this.

Rs 10 per person entrance fee. Fast and efficient

This is a geologists paradise....... Excellent drive through the wild life sanctuary to get here.

Location is good but they don't allow to dip in water anymore due many deaths

Over priced @₹50/person, with no facilities. Road to reach is worst, it is difficult to drive in that road for beginners. No access to water

Nature at its best. Worth the journey all the way from Dandeli.. I visited during November.. There was not much water flow even then crowd were not left down all the way till the caves down (swimming restrictions) However the view from the top is still mesmerizing and will hold you for few minutes.. Worth a visit..
