The playground and creek are a wonderful combination for children to be wild and free. We have been here many times and it is always a great time. The playground tends to be a bit shaded which is great. There is a restroom and tons of picnic tables. We played in the pouring rain today with Harrisburg Wild + Free group and it was phenomenal. The creek didn’t feel too cold but definitely a strong current at certain parts. Plan to stay a while if you come here but also plan to keep a close eye at the creek. There is some glass bits around the creek area so be careful! we didn’t get hurt but we saw a handful of glass bits here and there. Worth a visit! Insta @kieraandtheboys

Beautiful park! We didn't explore the entire area but we enjoyed the playground and creek. The creek was clear and absolutely gorgeous. We walked down to a bridge where we found frogs and minnows ☺️ & butterflies led the way back. Everything we saw was clean and well maintained.

This trail is pretty nice for a walk, but should have trees on the way to downtown Kannapolis, through 8th street Greenwat trail.

The weather was great, which helped in making the day even better.! The playgrounds weren't crowded and the creek was the best place to relax on a hot day! I love to take my children to play in the creek when they are restless! Great experience every time!

My kids love this park! We've from out of town, but when we're in the Concord area we always try to make a stop here. The playground is big and the creek access is fun to splash around in. I've packed snacks and drinks and my kids played for hours in the creek. Highly recommended!

This is the stuff of childhood dreams! Peaceful forest, gorgeous creek, a huge pavilion for reunions/team/church potlucks, small grills for family cook outs, new playground, bathrooms, and a great diamond for kids games with shade frees and bleachers. Parking is great.

Nice beautiful atmosphere!! Absolutely perfect for taking pictures. This day the creek was a little low due to lack of significant rain. The only unfortunate part of Baker's Creek Park today was the unchaperoned kids using foul language while playing on the playground. School wasnt out so not sure why these children weren't in school. Nonetheless, bakers creek is esthetically pleasing!

Beautiful park off the beaten path. The creek is a wonderful feature, the playground and paths are well maintianed. I teach my Tinkergarten classes here in all four seasons and every one has been a great experiance working in a Kannapolis City park.

Drove through the parking lot and back down the road but Google tracked my phone there and is asking about my experience. Don't they know that I didn't get out of my car? And by the way, since they're watching me so closely: why don't THEY tell me how my experience was ?? You gotta do better goog......πŸ‘€πŸ€”πŸ˜†

Love this park. We like bringing the kids to play on the playground and to play in the creek. We ride our bikes on the loop trail.

There is a paved walkway and a dirt walkway/ single track for bikes and walking. Cute little creeks when there is water and good amount of trash cans for your dog walking needs. Beautiful shady trees and open spaces.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great park for walking around the track. Playing for children to play on. You can watch softball games in the fall and spring. Fall on Saturday they have flag football for children and in the spring soccer. They have a great concession stand when they have ballgames. Great prices also!!
