It is a very enjoyable area down on the plaza, the JC Nichols Memorial Fountain is beautiful. While there, I talked to a very nice homeless person named Two Feathers. He told me about his life living in The Plaza for 7 1/2 years now. I hope the best for Two Feathers, such a nice guy.

I always enjoy seeing this fountain every time I visit, yes it's not the biggest in the world or whatever others complain about but it's unique to KC. My only issue is the homeless that hang around it, takes away from your comfort zone and enjoyment. Seems like more and more homeless are popping up in the plaza area. At night didn't feel too safe had some homeless lady yelling at me trying to get my attention, some drunken kids were running around acting like fools. They should have some patrols in there.

In the "City of Fountains" this is our crown jewel. Elaborate and intricately carved fanciful dolphins, horses, cherubs, and assorted figures spout sprays of water at the entrance to the Country Club Plaza. It is maintained well and has a rich history. It is good to see it used and appreciated for the treasure that it is.

Great place to walk around. I wonderful place enjoy the beautiful fountain and take pictures. It is so relaxing to just sit there in front of the fountain and watch the water as well as the people. Best place to take pictures both in the daytime and at night. I recommend checking out this historic and ironic spot when on the Country Club Plaza!

Beautiful iconic fountain in KC! Formerly known as JC Nichols Fountain, its now known as The Fountain at Mill Creek. The 10.5 foot bronze horses are powerful. The center spray can reach a height of 30 feet! Keep an eye out for water color changes throughout Fountain Season! True KC GEM!

Such a cute park. The walking trail was the perfect combination of ups, downs, and curves. I bet it will be beautiful come spring. Perfect for all ages. We plan to come every Sunday to prep for an upcoming 5k.

Always a cool place to drive by --Haven't actually seen up close until now! The park was fairly well kept, and there's a padded walking trail, but when I visited the fountain area, it was unfortunately pretty repulsive. (Sidewalk caked with saliva, food spills, gum, etc, plus vomit in trash cans....surprisingly not a lot of trash/litter though.)

There are benches and a nice walking path near the fountain. Also, the fountain water is occasionally colored for an event.

Nice fountain and park. The city colors the water at times and has different colorful lights at different times of the year. Needs a few more benches to sit on though around the fountain. (my opinion) Nice path for walkers/joggers too.

A very interesting place, small and small. The surrounding antique European-style buildings are a good background for taking pictures.

The fountain and the surrounding park area are very nice. The fountain is always clean. I wish they would add a few more benches around the fountain. There are a few trees that provide shade where you could have a picnic if you wanted.

This fountain is pretty cool. Apparently it was built in paris and the four horses represent for major rivers. They are all fighting animals like bear and alligators. Which is undeniably and universally super dope. Too bad they turn it off during the winter. But I am sure if a pipe burst it is almost impossible to fix in a fountain like this. City of fountains boo.

Great place to relax and view the plaza, walk a dog, or to explore with visitors from out of town. Kansas City is the β€œcity of fountains,” and this one is probably the most recognizable or iconic on the plaza. A nice place for families during the day, but probably not as safe after dark.

Stunning fountain in the day, breathtaking at night. Located in a local park and in the midst of treelined walkways lies this beautiful fountain.
