Brunch was sooo good!! I really enjoyed the salmon eggs Benedict with the bloody Mary! The bloody mary wasnt dressed like I thiught, but let me tell you that the crispy Maple bacon was absolutely delicious!! The coffee wasn't as strong as I was expecting. The service was friendly and attentive. It was a nice atmosphere and we enjoyed our time there. I hope to return next time I'm in Kansas City.

Came to this place because of the good ratings, and it did not disappoint. Good food, with great service, at reasonable prices. I really liked the jam that came with the Belgian waffle. The waffle was fluffy and tasted great, and after eating that, bacon, and eggs, I don't feel overly filled as I do with most other places. I'd gladly come back here.

I love trying new things so places with seasonal menus are my favorite! You just have to try the strawberry tres leches. their fresh juices are always good

First Watch is First Rate. My daughter, my wife and I ate breakfast here a week ago for Sunday breakfast. Our waitress was Audrey if I remember correctly. We ordered a little bit of everything to try including food and drinks. Everything was so delicious we even came back a few days later and tried other dishes. The breakfast tacos were surprisingly good with the wheat corn tortillas. I loved the oatmeal and cinnamon chip muffin. French toast and waffles were average. Bacon, eggs, breakfast potatoes, and toast were really good. I can't remember all the names of the drinks but the only one we didn't try was the kale one. All the rest were so good. We will definitely be back again.

It has officially become a tradition. We spend the night in KC and look for a First Watch to begin the day. This time we ordered the Barbacoa Quesadilla Benedict and the Chickichamga. The service once again was great, as was the flavor and portions. We will continue to add First Watch to our breakfast or brunch plans wherever we can find one.

amazing atmosphere. make it possible to sit outside and eat because it’s so much better. food is delicious. just don’t like how it’s $20 for that coffee i had just for it to be filled with only ice. but other than that delicious. we enjoyed it.

First watch is always been favorite place to have great breakfast. With friends and family. This location is very neat and cool. Old style feel of the place. It was quite packed. We reserve our table online. I think it’s the best if one doesn’t want to wait longer. Since it was cold and rainy. Waffles were fluffy and great with syrup and some jam.

Breakfast was really good. We had the yogurt with vanilla and fruit. And turkey egg whites. The restaurant is very clean and the service is good and quick.

Visited the Westport location this morning and the food was great, as always. The only concern I had was being greeted. The morning crowd hadn’t gotten there once I arrive but, I could see some of the staff was taking care of guest that were there. I stood at the front for about a good 5 minutes before the host got there but noticed a few staff members (a waitress and cashier) had passed right by me more than once and didn’t bother to at least acknowledge that a guest was standing there. I have a hospitality background as well and a simple “someone will be right with you” would’ve sufficed. This is one of my favorite places to dine for breakfast and I just want to say that acknowledgment goes a long way.

Went there this morning for brunch and it was great! Service was awesome, quick and timely. Our waiter even brought us out a free morning meditation to try. We had the cinnamon cereal milk breakfast cocktail that was amazing. The lemon ricotta pancakes were so yummy as was the salmon frittata.I didn't get any food pictures before we ate it all!

Had a very enjoyable breakfast here having ordered the french toast and some seasoned potatoes. I understand normally there's a wait as this spot is very popular but when I arrived there was no wait. The dinning area seemed to be very noisy, so If you're a person who can't take loud over stimulating environments maybe opt to eat outside on their patio is a good alternative. Our server Niqky took very good care of us with a packed area.

I have not been to my first watch in many years. Because they took away the breakfast that I like the most. I went there the other day because my son in law really likes the place and I found out what i've been missing. They have totally different menu than what I remember and the food is excellent. I will definitely be back.

The food was delicious. They have a drink up there called Pineapple Express. It was fantastic. Next time I'm going to try their Purple Haze drink. It truly looks refreshing.

Yowza! What a refreshing experience! I’m picky when it comes to breakfast, but this place excels largely due to their simplicity. A simple omelet, well-made, with fresh greens, and a stellar pancake. Great coffee, too! It’s a rare occasion indeed for my girlfriend to not only LOVE the bacon but to clean her plate entirely! Staff was cordial and pleasant. Thanks to Isaac for exceptional service! Also: special shout-out to the wheat bread, aka my favorite thing ever. Your strawberry jam pairing is also out of this world! Can’t wait to return!!!

I love First Watch for their healthy menu options. I can always find something healthy & filling that also tastes great! I usually prefer locally owned, but I will eat at First Watch if I know one is nearby because I trust the experience.

Update: July 2023 (5/5) And we're back! Excellent breakfast before we hit the road. As I was not driving, I tried out the Honey Caramel Crunch iced coffee; very satisfying. The kids loved the french toast and my hash was FANTASTIC!! June 2022 Westport KC location (4/5). Really lovely autumn menu, everything was very good! Donut holes, amazing. Short rib in special omelet melted in your mouth. Millionaire's Bacon was unevenly cooked. Service was acceptable.

I've always wanted to try this place and I'm happy my first time was here in Kansas City. I loved the location and the manager Sunny was amazing! Food was great and the drinks were so good we had extra to go! Only downside is we felt a little rushed because our waiter brought us our receipt not even 10 mins after getting our food it seemed like, so we felt rushed but still I enjoyed the experience!

The food and ambiance provide the perfect environment for a heartfelt reconnection. When my friend and I walked in, there was some tension between us; however, as a warm-spirited server greeted us, the mood quickly shifted. With every succulent bite, we were able to talk through things. The bacon was perfect; the ricotta cheese pancakes were flavorful and filling. Every about the space made us feel at home. I am grateful for the existence of spaces like this one.
