I travel around the US and frequent the fitness planet in all states. but it's just terrible service. my English is poor. I wrote in the translator that I need help. The guy at the front desk asked where I was from. I replied that from Ukraine. to which I received an answer that it would not help and I had better leave this fitness. They seem to be racially biased. very disappointed in this fitness. was forced to leave.

The newest location in the greater Kansas City area. Conveniently located between Troost and Paseo at Emmanuel Cleaver II Boulevard. Some of the equipment is brand spanking new. The club is cleaned consistently. I enjoy the large front windows that make great use of natural lighting. This location has an abundance of equipment, cardio and weights. They make use of all the available space for their members fitness enjoyment. The locker room/restaurant is immaculate and always smells fresh! I have not seen so much as a stray paper towel on the floor! Staff appear to be well trained and confident in their knowledge. Yes, social distancing mandates are being followed. Another healthy lifestyle option for the cash strapped but aptly motivated city dweller. The best thing is their new deals come sans commitment, no more contracts🙂😊!

I was surprised when I walked in to this fitness center. The front desk attendant was very friendly and answered all my questions promptly and accurately. I had no problem signing up for their black card membership which includes tanning beds and massage chairs. The workout areas are very clean and the equipment looks new and well taken care of. I didn't work out this time because I was short on time but I will be making regular visits to this gym from now on.

Management and staff are kind and helpful and have a clean place to be proud of 🙏👍💪❤️🔥

I've been trying to cancel my membership for about a year and I'm still being charged. If the staff spent less time on their nasty attitudes (including a manager once ) it could have been done correctly. I just left this place for the fourth time over the 23 year last month assuming it was done correctly . What a freaking nightmare! I only give two stars cause the gym is clean and have nice equipment that works sometimes.

Ms. Von, the manager did an excellent job helping me with my new membership. Great customer service at front desk I recommend this location.

Was loving this place. Continual staff turnover (have had some wonderful staff guys) is a concern. Since they moved on, no floor supervision, or prompt repairs, people with a complete disconnect to the environment. Hoping it levels out.

For three weeks I have been using the tanning beds since I have some health issues in processing some vitamins and minerals if they go through my digestive. Whole health. The beds -#2 11 bulbs out for three weeks. #1 now has 16 bulbs out. I have reported this to staff many times. They always say they have been repaired or are going to be depending on who I talk to. Other locations are updated and cleaner. Have photos.

Planet Fitness helped me get from this to this!! They are truly a judgement free zone... I never felt uncomfortable.

The gym is small, but it has everything you need to get in an effective fitness regimen, open 24/7, great location and at an affordable price.

Really enjoyed my workout today Tanner the Assistant Manager was very professional and helpful. Von was also helpful with educating me on the exercise equipment. Thank you guys you made my experience GREAT!!!

Just got off the worst phone call with a staff member and I am SEETHING. The lack of professionalism, service language and customer service etiquette has me ready to cancel and never recommend this place to anyone. Long story short my personal banking info was NOT securely transferred - the staff member DID NOT APOLOGIZE - DID NOT OFFER A REFUND OR EVEN TO UPDATE. Passed the blame off to an employee I’m not even sure really works there and when he got tired of my questions told me he didn’t have time to sit on the phone when he had other things to do. Then when I asked to speak to management - he refused to even tell me their names or give me a direct number to leave a message. When I asked about my banking info and why I wasn’t contacted by phone or email that it hadn’t been updated like I thought - HE HAD NO ANSWER. That staff member needs to retrained on how to handle billing calls and how to rectify billing issues. This location also needs to stress to their staff the importance of making sure when they are given sensitive financial info that they do their job and secure it in the system as well as disposal of said private sensitive info. It is ILLEGAL to not do so.

I love this gym. Coming from Washington where the staff was eh- seeing Tanner and Von makes things so much better! They are so friendly and have great personalities. I haven’t met the rest of the staff due to me going early mornings, but i truly enjoy this gym and they make it great too! The bathrooms are always clean, the equipment is great. Im happy to be at this location! It’s my home gym for as long as I'm here in the city

This location does have all the equipment thats why i joined BUT my car was broken into on they properly busted out my whole back window so there are people in there acting like members and scoping the place, then person on the inside let them know what you're doing then they break into your car so be very very careful at this location.

Been going for over a year. Kind and friendly staff. Gym is always clean. Cleaning supplies for us to use before/after using equipment is always stocked. Hardly ever have to wait for a piece of equipment. Enjoyable space with the big wall of windows and lots of lighting. Thank you for providing such a great resource at the affordable price.

Hassel-free zone. It's an affordable membership. I like the fact that I am able to bring my 14 year old son with me. He's home schooled so going to the gym is one of our outings. I'd recommend this gym to others. My only issue is how awful the bathroom/locker room smells. I can't go on without gagging. I wish this wasn't the case.

Definitely not the place to go if you're new to working out. Very intimidating with staff repeatedly reminding you to move along and follow the changing lights...

Great place to build yourself with lot of equipments. Price is also reasonable.

Clean, and more treadmills than I've ever seen in a gym. Just wish they jump ropes, but I understand that they walk away sometimes.

I love this location. Very well kept up facility. Front desk employees very knowledgeable and helpful, they have patience to address all your questions. You can tour the facility, and the hydromassage is to die for. Not overcrowded, people very helpful. Has a shower and locker room, a sauna, hydromassage tables and chairs. Opens at 5am. It offers a 30 minute zone that will give you a full body workout. Personal trainers are free for your convenience. Some of the experience are for black card members only, but I believe you will receive a great experience with whatever plan you choose.

I was in KC visiting and came as a guest to this location. Tanner was incredibly helpful getting me setup as a guest and ensuring that I could continue my routine while in town. I will definitely be back to this location, and after the service I received will likely be joining PF when I get home to Chicago.

It's never overly crowded. The patrons make an effort to clean the machines after use. The desk staff has become more friendly, greeting patrons more consistently. The machines appear to be kept in good shape and good working order. Bathrooms/locker room is usually very clean. It'd be nice if the bathrooms had a more fragrant scent.

The people are all friendly that I’ve experienced so far. The facility is clean, loaded with great equipment. The restroom/shower area was clean as well. Highly recommended

Great place to exercise! Great value! The staff is always friendly and always on the floor cleaning the equipment. I called with a question about my account and the gentleman working was able to help me get into my account and update it. Joining the gym and this location has been a lifesaver.

The staff is very welcoming and it is a very clean gym. You can’t beat the price either.

There are cleaning stations within reach of almost every piece of equipment; the staff are nice and helpful; even when it's busy you can still get whatever machine you need. It's super close to me so I find it very convenient. Additionally, I got a black card so I enjoy meeting my friends at their PF for a workout.

I love it. Very clean and comfortable. No bulling allowed. Workers are very helpful.

It's very nice I enjoy going there I get a real comfortable feeling when I go to the people are nice you can do whatever workout you want to do nobody bothers you and there's nice women in there too.

Horrible customer service - got a membership for our nanny. She then moved and we could not get them to cancel the membership. So yeah, it’s cheap - but they will charge you for life!

Love their hydromassage heated water jet beds for massage. Helps me after a long work day standing.

not LGBT friendly I first thought it was 5 star till someone stole my stuff this is supposed to be a non judgmental place I feel targeted these people now have keys to my home my car my mail they have my ID my wallet and even my clothes they cut my lock off my locker this is truly sad the workers where great during this time on a bright side

It's cool for a fitness club, and you can't beat the price. But if you wanna slam weights or looking to use an actual bench or squat rack it's not gonna be your jam. But for high school kids and single moms and other ppl just getting started on your fitness journey it's a great place to begin.

Great staff! Lost wallet here, and it was immediately brought up to front and front desk reached out to me letting me know they found it. Life savers!

Nice gym, staff are friendly and helpful. Gym gets busy after work, as expected. But usually you can get a turn on gear you want to use fairly quickly.

The staff is very friendly. The gym is always clean. I had an issue with the loud music in the gym and the manager addressed my concerns personally and professionally.

Edit: not sure if your read the review but there was no one present! Award winning planet fitness for most non available staff and most unhygienic planet I have visited. Came here while visiting family in Missouri to a non present staff walking in and a bloody rest room that stayed that way the duration of my visit. PF please fix this!

Friendly staff and great equipment. I have had a membership for several years but started really using it a couple of months ago. Very clean. Love the hydro massages after a work out or before if I go early in the morning.

I spend a fair amount of my time at this gym and the staff is awesome and helpfull and a clean environment

Its definitely a great place to let some steam off or relax and in their spa area and kennadi makes you feel right at home
