It’s situated in Badulla town area . They have a hotel and restaurant and wedding hall . The hotel special is wedding hall, and restaurant . Vehicle parking area also there . Clean and calm place. Customer service is good . Staffs are friendly. Very tasty foods with reasonable prices. They serve beautifully. we need to wait after the order 20 to 30 minutes.

We had only a meal in Capita hôtel restaurant and we didn't like it at all. The price we saw on a menu, when we came to oder was more then double. They just gave us other menu. They don't have many positions we asked for The juices we ordered were very diluated with water, almost no taste of the fruit. The buffet price is not really buffet. We were charged in addition for the second peace of fish / chicken without informing that it is not a part of buffet with additional charges. What was good, the chicken was good and the white bread

Recently I bought seafood rice takeaway from this hotel and it hasn't been good. Because it has Discarded parts of cuttlefish and prawns. When I was requesting to communicate with managers, other stuff didn't allow it. I was fully disappointed about their action and I won't purchase any kind of food from capital city hotel badulla ever. I don't recommend this hotel for anyone because they do not responsible for their foods.

I went with my friends (about 14) to have dinner on this hotel for 2 days. On day 1 we ordered cheese kottu and it was taste like MDK kottu roti which is a frozen food packet, and they had put some happy cow cheese cubes to the food and they were not even properly chopped and mixed. The price for 1 portion was more than Rs.400. On day 2 we ordered mixed fried rice and they were taste like some homemade rice and were not upto the standards. Furthermore, the soy sauce which was received was very stinky. They have also charged a service charge of Rs 1000 on that day. The fruit salad which we ordered was only having some banana and papaya slices and good at all. Terrible experience. Very questionable and unacceptable customer service. Never experienced this kind of behaviour from a waiter or manager ever. We went to have dinner at this place (a group of 11 people) and ordered full portions of fried rice and koththu. We clearly asked the manager ( Pradeep ) whether the large portion is sufficient for two adult males and he firmly said yes. To our surprise, the three large fried rice portions were put in one plate which he claimed was the plate in which three portions are put and was not at all enough. When inquired about the matter, he ( Pradeep guy-the manager) was not even willing to listen to the customer. He interrupted every single thing we had to say and then stormed out saying ( mehema tamai api karanne oyala aye ennath epa ). Basically spoilt the night for us. Kinda funny coz we had to pay a service charge of Rs. 475 for getting scolded at by the manager for inquiring a concern

Had the set menu for lunch. Instead of chicken pieces, all the 3 meals had chicken offcuts. No taste or cleanliness. Food is given without any quality. It must be said that the quality of the food in this place has been lacking for a long time.

This is a great place. They are practicing good hygienic conditions. Food are excellent. Specially soups are really great. And also kids can play freely. Washrooms are really clean. Staff also kind and friendly. Have a good parking area. According to your preference you can ask chef to make it. I mean in Sri Lanka its spicy food available you can change this into your taste by requesting staff.

We ordered dinner for my family and friends. It was a really bad service. Even though they add service charge, they did not give good service. Person who took the order said, it included chopsy but they did not gave it.We are not recommended this place to others.

Very affordable room rates at Badulla. Ideal for those who travel for work. They have a food court on the ground floor that offers buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner though not very impressive. Ample parking space at the front.

We booked Capital city Hotel for our wedding, the major reason behind the decision was they have variety of food selection, as well as the food was tasty. Customer service was good and the hotel was clean and spacious.

No hygiene Room kettle was dirty. When i ask to change it, just wash it & give me the same. Breakfast should start at 7:30, staff come to set up the breakfast buffet at 7:50. They wipe the counter with dirty cloth & drop on the floor. Again they pick up the same cloth & wipe the washed plates for breakfast. We were shocked by seen it & left from the hotel. Front of the hotel if like this, we could imagine back of the hotel. Never recommend anyone this hotel even for a glass of water.

Value for the price with all the standard amenities. Do not forget the lunch buffet , specially the Sri Lankan lunch. And also they have a delicious dessert range.

Had all our meals here while our stay in Badulla - located at the heart of the town, parking available.

Searching a hotel near to Badulla station, found a hotel called Capital city Hotel. Called and confirmed the dates.We went . We stayed. Nothing to say in negative things.Very clean large room with A/C and all other facilities. Bathroom with hot water. Reasonable room charges with breakfast. Can take anything at their food corner beside the hotel. Foods are very tasty. Thank you very much Management and the staff. Definitely will be back to your hotel for our next visit at badulla. It's not rated as a five star hotel, but it's a five star hotel.go and see.Thanks again.

When we first ordered the kottu the kottu was over. Then we ordered rice. Those who came after us ordered kottu and they gave it to them. We ordered rice and waited for about an hour for the food to arrive. The food had no flavor.rice wasn't taste like rice. it tasted like water. The sauce that came with the meal smelled like pee. Food service is so bad but the waiter was good.

Their meals are not worth the price. Only the outer 'posh' appearance. Had dinner 2 times there, felt dissatisfaction at its best.

Arrangements are really good. Food also having a standard quality and taste.

Optimum place in Badulla Town for lodging. Close to the Bus stand and about a km away from the Railway Station. Most economical room charges you will ever find in the city. Room and the wash room were very clean and very happy with the facilities (Dish TV, Comfortable Beds, AC, Hot water, Lift etc.) Dining can be done in their own food court or Meals can be ordered to the room which makes providing food very convenient. Went for lunch out. friendly staff and also the foods are very delicious. Pricing is are.moderate. (for some people, the price is a bit high in this hotel). Good rooms and their large halls are the best suits for weddings and any kind if parties.

I ordered a Capital City Special Fried Rice yesterday and I can never satisfied. even though the capital city hotel menu show as it is like a Capital city special fried rice but it was not as I expected. I don't recommend this hotel for anyone because they do not provide delicious food.

We came for lunch in dec 2022. The place was very clean with ample space to sit around and have lunch. Good hygiene maintained. The food was delicious too. Will come back.

Helpful staff. Average food for bit higher price, appears averagely clean, But with current economic crisis they appeared to be in a survival mode with less customers. Plenty of parking is there.
