One of the oldest Hospital of Karachi town and much famous for Gynecologist and Maternity solutions. Was here to see relative's new born baby, and got a great gesture by friendly staff here. The hospital's building is a beautiful example of amazing British Architecture and the cause of recalling British era in minds. Lady Dufferin Hospital have a wide parking area, and ofcource a ♿ Accessibility-friendly Place with Ramps, Lift and Accessible washrooms. Thier charges are bit higher than other hospitals.

I had my delivery with Dr Farkhunda at lady dufferin. She is an expert in her field and provided the best consultation. She never prescribed unnecessary medicines or ultrasounds, always listened to my concerns and was very calm and composed. The hospital buildings and the billing and administration departments require upgrading as they are sub par. The rooms, washrooms and opd buildings are old and worn out

I have had my first baby delivered at Lady Dufferin Hospital on March 08, 2023. One of the best and may be the oldest maternity hospitals in the Karachi. Specially Dr. Farkhanda, who knows her job very well, she is quite humble, supportive and very professional gynaecologist. She tries her level best to avoid any unnecessary surgical intervention by ensuring mother and child's good health. She keeps providing technical assistance and motivation through out complete tenure of pregnancy to deliver the baby naturally. Overall a great experience for being using the services of Lady Dufferin Hospital.

Benazir Bhutto, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, gave birth to a son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the hospital in 1988. Today, the Lady Dufferin Hospital has a capacity of 300 beds with 4 operation theatres, prenatal & postnatal wards, ultrasound department, neo-natal intensive care unit, labor room, consulting rooms, private &semi-private rooms, outpatient department (OPD), family planning services, 24 hour laboratory, radiology and pharmacy. The hospital is one of the largest reputable maternity hospitals in Pakistan. It owns and utilizes state-of-the-art equipment, enabling the staff to provide comprehensive obstetric, gynecological and neonatal healthcare.

Dear Ladies & Gentlemen kindly do not try this hospital unless you have alot of money to afford a full private facility of more than 330000 (3.3 Lacs ) . They have no proper management to run this hospital.

Staff doesn't know how to talk with patient and Dr Farkhanda and Dr Rabia both of them are arrogant.Head of the hospital should take action against both of them. Farkhanda is doing politics in the hospital she is used to insulting the patient.

It's one of the oldest hospitals of khi in middle of city on very busy road of mixed traffic. Good repo of hospitalisation/treatment, services r good. Old building requires some proper attention of concerned authorities along with some upgradation.

Awful hospital. Sure it's clean and staff is very good. But now its a money making machine. Unless you are okay with being charged over Rs.300,000 (doctor= 80,000 rs charge included) plus 10,000 per day for private room. Go for it. If you choose semi private, well get in line for 4 or 5 hours for an ultrasound because there is only one ultrasound technician who gives priority to private patients and not to semi private ones. And semi private normal delivery also costs Rs.50,000 including general ward.

Best hospital in town for mama and baby, As well semi government, affordable as well all test and ultrasound in house facility. Also zero load shading here

Worst experience, Dr zaryab should take action against the admin department and billing staff in OPD, ultrasound staff , all of them are irresponsible and not professionals , I heared there when this admin staff takeoverd the management day by day patients are complaining about the services and no action from the management to help them, they're only making money and looting the innocent people, not out the DRs are very good but the management and the OPD token issuing staff and fee receiving staff ultrasound staff they all are maybe under matric and they don't know how to work

Don't know about the doctors and service. But I am highly impressed by its old structure of British style during rule on sub continent.

As usual govt hospital wali harkat we are trying to call on landline from one hour and there phone is not operating how can someone communicate with hospital if there phone is not operating.

Good hospital for the women they are very co operative and they always wants to give relief to the patient they are famous for normal op women and they are not too expensive they are moderate in rates means they do not take extra charges for any thing good over at all fully recommended

Recently visit this hospital. Things have been change in 2 years. But good to see new areas and technical facility. Overall its a good experience of mine becoz some doctors are cooperative

Worst hospital ever. Dr Bilqees Hashim is the dumbest doctor you could find on earth. She’s a money making machine. I can’t believe someone with a degree would do such a thing that she has done to my family. Do yourself a favour, never go to that hospital or to dr Hashim at least.

lady dufferin hospital has worst nursing staff, dirty toilet in their labour room and emergency room, the nursing staff is not trained they dont know how to put canola. Even duty doctors have no respect for the patients. They treat the patients as they are getting treatment without any fee. Their charges for semi private are around 80 thousand, so its better to go any large hospital.

0%Managment/Rude Counter/Token Staff/0% knowledge about their field. ,First of all, They don't have facility Or Managment to repair their token slip machine & if machine is working then there is no managment to to get oppointment properly, everybody coming from behind to get 1st oppointment. Then doctors they don't know what they are doing specially dr. Mehwish lakhani, she wrote down the test and said do it as quickly and show me as early as tomorrow or day after tomorrow then we went to do test the laboratory lady told us this test not done as quickly and said your doctor she does not know about this test? Then we said this is your doctor mehwish lakhani then lab lady replied this test needs procedure then we will do this test, again we are waiting to go to dr.mehwish lakhani to tell why you send us to do this test and said do it quickly while lab lady or lab doctor said this test need procedure and time. And Dr.mehwish lakhani does not accept any test from other labs. Please ladies and gentlemen i don't recommend this hospital at all because of 0% management and 0% knowledge abouth their field. Totally disappointed. This hospital is only for medical students who is learning and doing thier experiments on patients.. #LadyDufferinHospital

This hospital sucks staff is so rude worst stuff they don't care if anyone dying they don't even deserve to get a one star but I had to because I want to write this so bad doctors are careless the whole system sucks !!! They just care about money that's it worst decision ever we made to take our patient there seriously they suck ! I would like to express that my pregnancy journey took place at this hospital, extending from consultations with the gynecologist to interactions with the pediatrician. I want to convey that I am thoroughly satisfied with the level of care and attention I received from both medical professionals. Without hesitation, I can confidently state that the doctors here are exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend them.
