Had experienced with emergency department and they did job very well, although emergency department has limited numbers of bed as we had to wait for a while, its capacity should be enhanced. Doctors and staff behaviour was very cooperative indeed, spacious parking is available as they have G + 2 dedicated parking building,They have canteen and a restaurant namely Baithak. Multiple ATM Machines are installed inside waiting area near emergency. Cleanness was upto the mark. State of the Art Hospital in karachi, environment was good and security was alert, highly recommended for quality medical facilities but their charges are quite high.

So just want to share my recent visit to LNH laboratory for my test purpose, but unfortunately i was treated like a 3rd class person. When my ticket number came the guy on the 2nd counter in the lab near entrance, i asked him about the test, he literally saw my rest description and threw it to me on the window, i was shocked with his behaviour. My test SE**N Analysis was like dirt for him or like i was not paying for it. Sadly i moved to neighbours hospital Agha khan and they behaved like human... Im really disappointed from LNH laboratory staff.

The Diagnostic in Hospital and their services are best to patients. Doctors are great. But there are many areas for improvement, in which first and most is the training of their staff, especially security and their Celerkial staff ,they are literally don't know how to talk and behave with attendants, and yes if you offer monetary things they ll behave like angels. Second is their communication system. Literally, you ll feel that you called on any Govt institutes where no one is assigned to hear your query. From UAN numbers to extension, no one is bother to attend call easily. You have to try at least 10/15 times. After that, your query may answer. The third one is their Corporate department, wait in their line without FAN and wait for your insults. The fourth and last is the admission and discharge procedure it is almost 2-4 hours long, at least, still living in the age of Paper and Files. Allah ainko Hidayat dy.

Liaquat National Hospital is a Most demanding hospital in Pakistan This hospital is definitely expensive but you get very good and professional doctors and consultants here who understand your patient's pain. I myself have experienced this hospital quite a few times and it has always been good in terms of treatment and assistance. I would like to say again what I said about all the hospitals, may Allah save any enemy from the chaos of the hospitals, Amen.

Can't say much about their services. As, it was just my visit to see my relative. Although, the place looks clean and saw many workers who were giving the best support. The masjid was quite beautiful and clean. Thumbs up for well-maintaining it!

Liaquat National Hospital is one of the most renowned facility in the metropolitan capital of the country. It’s private sector hospital but gets its funding from the district government as well. Ge facility is laced with all the medical, surgical and radiological equipment for the public. Vast car park and comfortable air conditioned waiting area cut out the mess and lower the hassle for the public.

Oh, sure! I'd be happy to share a review of Liaquat National Hospital (LNH). It's a well-known hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. LNH is recognized for its excellent healthcare services and state-of-the-art facilities. The hospital offers a wide range of medical specialties and departments, including cardiology, oncology, neurology, orthopedics, and more. The staff at LNH consists of highly skilled doctors, nurses, and support staff who are dedicated to providing quality care to their patients. Patients appreciate the professionalism and expertise of the medical team at LNH. The hospital also focuses on research and innovation in the medical field. Overall, Liaquat National Hospital has a strong reputation for its healthcare services and is considered a reliable choice for medical treatment.

We have been going LNH for more than a decade, despite we never wanted to go to this hospital, but then a lot of facilities were limited to Liaqat and Agha Khan Hospitals, people were forced to here. Couple of my relatives were on panel and were bound to go here. Hence our experience with the hospital is extensive. The hospital is known for its medical infrastructure and experienced doctor but extremely poor nursing care, customer service, and accountability. In fact it's one of the place where you can get very poor care despite paying a handsome amount of money. The hospital culture is partially similar to the rusted government hospitals, I would not advise you to get admitted to this hospital unless you have strong personal contacts in the staff or you are a seasoned Pakistani, unlike me, who can fight hard for his right. Innocent civilized people should stay a mile away.

Infrastructure has improved a lot and medical facilities are above average and quite satisfactory but hospital is way too expensive for even upper middle class. Doctors here are experienced. But it's a request to all the patient and attendants to must have a closed eye over treatment they provide in emergency because they conduct way too many and unnecessary tests in emergency that eventually add unnecessary burden on the final bill.

Worst management ever witnessed. They don't educate attendants of patients, rudely behave with visitors. We had to rush into ward and almost fight with staff to get information about our patient. Worst hygiene standard our operated patient was asked to use dirtiest washrooms, female patients are forcefully kept in male ward until you fight with them for female ward. Much satisfied with the surgeons though..

Never come on time, when you have appointment with doctors in Liaqat National Hospital. They are Least bother to come on time and as patient you just wait for hours. It’s been almost 4 hours I’m waiting. As per call OPD time starts at 4 but doctor reached at 5:45pm.

I do had bad experiences in Orthopedic and Dermatology OPD. It looks that doctors are less caring and least bothered. They just prescribe you medicines or list of tests and didn't tell about your problem. It looks that even the junior or assistant doctors are there just for time past. The staffs looks like non professionals. The management has to get into matter seriously to keep up with the reputation. I suggest a visible suggestion or complaint box in every department.

Drs there want to go for another Covid-19 test before doing anything for decreasing numb of platelets. My bro had 19k platelets before going there when we discharged him he had 12k platelets.

My uncle had an accident in Karachi on last Friday Oct. 7th , 2022 , it was a hit and run road accident , he was taken to Liaquat National Hospital by an Ambulance service . He was unconscious and emergency Doctors sent him directly to ICU after giving him first aid. Thereafter someone called his son by using his cell phone and informed him about the incident . Everyone at home was in a great shock and rushed to the hospital. I also went to hospital to know more about his physical condition , I met some Doctors , they were very much professional experienced in their field , they gave proper attention and informed us the physical position of my uncle as it was not clear by that time as they were preparing him to take some Lab tests and perform some Physical test like CT Scan and MRI etc. I stayed there in the LNH for few hours and came to know more about the administrative measures they have adopted to improve their internal system and make things easy for patients and their care takers. I was quite impressed with their dutiful manner and I thanked the on job Doctor for taking good care of my uncle . Just because of their professional expertise my uncle recovered very fast and he was shifted to a ward from ICU to keep him under observation for few days . Neuro surgical department kept paying attention in the ward and the nursing staff was much cooperative , they gave him due attention , fed him well and gave him proper medication at the given time; because of their great care my uncle showed positive results and he was discharged yesterday . For me it has been a good experience with the LNH and I will recommend others to avail their services whenever required. Thanks LNH for being so professional and providing matchless medical facilities in our city of light. Abdul Aziz Syed Karachi

Absolutely abysmal and pathetic hospital, a money making mafia that take advantage of your situation. Here's our story: 1) Admission/ ER Services My father had fracture in his femur (thigh bone), i took him to LNH because had heard of its welcoming services. The patient advisory had given my estimate of around 2 lacs, so i agreed because that was in my budget. Firstly, Emergency area of LNH is way too crowded with beds, lighting, cleaning and staff cooperation with patieny/attendants is extremely bad. They took more then 5 hours to shift my father to wards, the coordintator was ignoring the requests from admission department. 2) Examination day: The following day my father had a review from cardiology, endocrinology, anesthesia departments. There was no special services for that, and your patient has to wait in the OPD before you get your time. The worst was that anesthetic didnt showup and my father had complications post surgery due to an anesthesia that didnt suit him 3) Surgery day: The surgery day was worst experience, the surgery was sucessful as per ortho consultant but my father had a complication because the anesthesia didnt suit him well. My father's SPO2 level fell down to 85% and the PG told us that your patient will be shifted to ICU. That was painstaking because we didnt expected that to happen. It was due to there sheer negligence. My father became concious and we requested ICU administration to shift him back to room. They said the cardiologist will make a review as they were expecting a cardiac event. My brother is a doctor by profession and works in UK, he saw my father's ECG reports and he asked the staff to shift my father to room. But the cardiologist was reluctant and he kept convincing us that angiography should be done. We denied. The cardiologist made a decision after his OPD completed, there are no special appointments for a patient in ICU. The doctor will make your patient in ICU for his OPD. 4) Post Surgery: With our experience, we were cognizant and suspicious about hospital's desire to acrue the hospital bill, the kept on offering ECG, dietrician, blood gas, CCU services, physiotherapy sessions and what not. We were fortunate that we had a doctor in family, i wonder if he would't had been there, the hospital would have make us stay for two more weeks. We literally had to fight for the discharge, the hospital is a mafia with cruel administration department that works hand in had with doctors, staffs and nurses to increase our billing amount. Overall cost: mentioned amount was around 2lacs, and the billing amount was around 5 lacs which is more than a 100% difference. Canteen, staff, facilities for attendees: tasteless, over-charged eatable items: a cup of tea (powdered milk with no milk at all) 60rupees, daal roti 240, biryani (tasteless) 300 Saff, guards, canteen staff's attitude is poor and may treat you arrogantly like if u are an animal, may be they dont have relatives who got shifted to hospital before or fallen ill. Suggestions: If you are thinking of get a treatment from LNH, DONT, but if you really want your patients life at risk and want yourself engulfed by LNH's cruelity, keep atleast figure twice thats mentioned by the hospital May Allah swt give health to you and your patient, keep you safe from the cruelty and corruption of mafias in medical and health system of Pakistan. Ameen P.S: one star is only because google dont let you give no star rating

A third world country private hospital and it does reflect like a third world country hospital. I almost vomited when I looked at room of my mom, which was a private room of special ward 3. Yes a private room of special ward 3 and its was awful. No cleaning at all stain of tobacco spits all over in the room. Completely uncomfortable bed for the patient and damaged seat. Toilet was full of filth. No telemetry in a private room for post op patient. I could never imagine this in a private hospital. But as I said it definitely reflected a third world country hospital. From staff's attitude in the private special ward 3 to the ethics of doctor all reflected a third world countries approach. Doctor communication with patient and family member was like a quack communicate with illustrate people. There were no ethics and manners that I would expect in a senior doctors at all. I would suggest that they should attend ( Doctors and staff both but specially senior doctors ) workshops on how as a doctor you need to communicate with the patients and their family members. But in a country where their medical regulatory body ( Medical Council) is not even stable and no one gives respect to it. You can expect this behavior. Very disappointed and shame to see a private hospital perform like this. Shame on you Liaquat national hospital owners and management. You are definitely not doing a good job. And you should be ashamed for that. But I am pretty sure you will not be ashamed at all. I will never ever let my family to go to this hospital again.

Majority of administrative staff is insane and have no behavioral training on how to talk. Senior Doctors are competent and have good track record of successful procedures. But to access them is extremely difficult. Long waiting lines, misbehaving staff, air conditioning failures, mis-coordination among internal departments add to patients misery. There is no complaint, feedback and suggestion culture in the hospital.

Breast surgery, hand surgery, arthroscopy, and LASIK are just a few of the specialties that LNH has pioneered. Other sub-specialties being developed include the Paediatric Development Unit, Sports Injury Unit, Geriatric Medicine, Paediatric Cardiology, and Colchlear Implant Procedure. Liaquat National Hospital is well-known for providing post-graduate training and fellowships in a wide range of surgical and medical specialties and subspecialties. We have a close relationship with Pakistan's College of Physicians and Surgeons. We also have the distinction of being a primary teaching hospital recognised by the Royal Colleges of the United Kingdom, Scotland, and Ireland. The doors of Liaquat National Hospital are always welcoming to those in need. Affordable consultation and treatment, along with the latest facilities and availability of social welfare services for financial sponsorship, has earned LNH the name of "The Last Resort" for patients both locally and nationally.

Liaquat National Hospital one of the finest but a bit expensive facility in Karachi, cleanliness is a major plus point in wards, rooms and units, staff is good and cooperative but sometimes they found arguing with the patients, now days due to new construction in the hospital, pedestrians have to move long ways to reach wherever they want, canteen is also expensive for no reason, patients and their attendants are already availing expensive treatments here so canteen should have been economical or at least charge market rates

Liaqat National Hospital is one of the largest hospitals and medical colleges in Karachi. They provide excellent health care facilities. Doctors feeses are normal but they are charging very high rates for tests and other medical diagnostic procedures such as blood tests, radiation treatment, xray, MRI, CT Scanning and in case of any surgery or admission in hospital will cost a lot of money to the patients and most of the patients can't afford their prices. Hospital is very well managed, cleanliness, disinfectant procedures are better than many hospitals in Karachi. There is other facilities such as canteen, Pharmacy, ATM machines are available for visitors

Unfortunately, in the absence of electronic health record system and no accountability. This place is mediocre reasonable. Car parking and Masjid are the highlights of this place. Very well maintained masjid. Parking is free and well build. Hospital has three gates . Usually central gate remain opened after 6 pm. Hospital has many departments and doctors are mostly very professional. Unfortunately, management and administrative staff is very pathetic due to lack of system. Very weak nursing , with supportive staff. Most cases are mismanaged due to lack of credible nursing here.

Pathetic Services and poor management. Doctors are not on same page, just wanted to generate revenue for hospital. I come along with my aunty who lived in U.A.E and visit Karachi on 30th November 2022. We visited today as due to her platelets were very low but instead of looking this issue and they asked to wait for almost 2.5 hours and doing their formality tests they came to us and informed that patient is very complicated need to admit and when we refused so they totally blame on us.

I visited with my father, he had a discectomy in Aug 2022, Dr saad akhtar was the doctor, and when we visited him again we took an appointment, and paid the fees, (i know it's compulsory and I am ok with it). He wrote some tests and ask us to come the day after tomorrow with the reports, so he can check the reports I ask the receptionist do I need to make e appointment again because it's only test reports, which I have to show him they said yes and you have to pay the fees as well, I said that the patient is not coming along as he can't sit for so long they said whatever! you have to pay... that's so pathetic.

My experience at LNH remained very very poor for root canal treatment RCT of one teeth of my Son. They took 8 weeks for a simple RCT out of which they took 06 weeks just for CAP or crown arrangement and its fixing. I kept visiting 08 saturdays continously. Kabhi doctor nahi aya to kabhi technician leave per he, despite appointments. It was an exhaustve and poor experience at Dental OPD in LNH. There is no justification 08 weeks for an RCT completion. I won't recommend anyone to go for dental treatment at LNH for RCT.

There is no system for communication, patients/attendants are asked to do all the activities by themselves even the staff are untrained and always asked the attendants for money. No guidance for patients and attendants. Security staff are very unprofessional they are abusing the attendants for any issue related to parking. Canteen is too much expensive while the food quality is not good. Billing staff always give you threats for submitting the dues. Overall i would recommend to not go there for treatment instead go to AKUH or some other hospitals.

Liaquat National Hospital is a very large hospital. My experience of 2 visits to the hospital were very unsatisfactory. The hospital has less number of beds in emergency department. Emergency means .........!!!!! A lot to the patients in emergency, whether it is accidental emergency or illness or so, but the staff is not much cooperative. They note down the name of patient and let them wait for unspecified time which is mostly a few hours (around 5-10 hours).

The strange part of going to emergency was that your family drops you at the entrance and go and park the car/motorcycle far away. No one helps with a wheelchair/stretchers you have to ask for it. I guess they cannot make out themselves that person who is lying down or can’t walk would need a wheelchair/ stretcher. Emergency ward was alright but too small. In one small room three beds and all occupied so you have to wait. In checking vital signs, they only checked blood pressure....I guess they thought checking temperature and hight/weight and age is not important. Went for medicine and got cheated. They gave a painkiller for 185/RS. With only one strip inside, where as other chemists give the same med with two strips inside. I don’t understand why hospitals in Pakistan strip you of your money, why they look outdated, why they look and feel unhygienic

Big hospital of karachi. It is a very big and clean hospital, the staff is also experienced, the Renowned doctors of Karachi are here. Many people also come to the hospital's OPD for medical check-ups.a private hospital so treatment is very expensive, not every citizen of Karachi can afford it. Big hospital of karachi full loaded with Modern medical devices and modern technology ALLAH save all from diseases and hospitals (amen)

Good medical opd setup. However, you will find too many people and rush at any counter, but a better option with average doctor fee

There are a lot of consultants available. But there isn't enough proper guidance or an online information system available. The place is completely crowded on most days and there aren't enough boards showing where what department is so a person can easily get lost. A correct and updated list of consultants is not available online so it becomes a hassle when the patient comes to the hospital. However, there were a few helpful people which made it a little easy to navigate the huge space.

Highly reputed Hospital, beside Agha Khan hospital on Stadium road. It charges affordable consultation fees, Doctors are experts in their fields. I am satisfied. Many departments are active on daily basis treating patients with care. It is much better then before. I suggest visiting there at early mornings before 9:00Am to save time and avoid waiting for. Hours.

One of the best hospitals in Karachi. Patients from all over Karachi come here to get cure for wellness. Though it is not affordable for everyone but this hospital has some of the facilities which is only available here and in Aga Khan. Therefore those who have left with no hope in other hospitals come here to take last chance.

The three stars are for the doctors there. The doctors are very well mannered and professional in their fields, very calm and their treatment methods are really nice. The two deducted stars are for the staffs and nurses there. I had my colonoscopy scheduled for 10 am there and therefore i had to be on a liquid diet for 24 hours and stopped drinking water at 7. I was about to pass out since the procedure should’ve been done by 10 in the morning. But the doc didn’t arrive till 12:30, punctuality is a major defect in their service. The nurses however were very rude and aggressive and wouldn’t look after me as a patient. Even though we paid the amount and its not a free government hospital, its one of the best in Pakistan but still they treated us with inhumane behaviour. Once again their services are rly nice and recommended but in case of emergency I wouldnt make this hospital my first choice cause they’ll let you die by being not so punctual.

Everyone has its own experience. Good or bad Or experience is very 😊 good Systematic Clean Organized Reasonable Cooperative staff and doctors Dr. Sheeraz ur Rehman is very very very kind and cooperative with humble attitude and his colleagues Dr. Safdar Habib is also very good. Both doctors are very experienced. I can say mostly all doctors are experienced even their students are also smarts and intelligent. Problems are negligible since human error is always there. *Insan ki apni pareshanian bhi to hoti hain na.*

Visited Liaquat National Hospital after quite some years and what a pleasant surprise to find the infrastructural improvements in the buildings and over all ambiance of the hospital. Highly commendable work by the hospital administration.

Had a poor experience with Ent Specialist Dr Ahmed Nawaz at Liaquat national hospital. He doesn't listen appropriately to the patient presenting complaint and doesn't see the patients history. Only he depends on his PG's and doesn't make his own diagnosis . Totally disappointed.

NOT WORTH THE FAME, HYPE AND MONEY 👎So until and after the ER it wasn’t too bad until the experience at this place just got worse by the hour. We started off with the staff being great at ignoring, not giving full attention and giving vague info and directions. (Not) sorry but I haven’t been working here like you for the last 10 years or whatever years you’re claiming!! I witnessed and dealt with this throughout the time I was there. We started off by the wrong quantity of medicine Bc of the first doctor (which can be overlooked as she was nice and helpful otherwise) causing wasted time and annoyance piling on our anxiety. After getting shifted to the wards at 1 in the noon , we got little to no attention until and hour later and then again around 5ish. They had tests and X-rays to do but no sign of them starting any of it. When they finally got to it, the doctor delayed the medicine as she forgot (I’m assuming) to order it and after she finally did ( I had to look for her 3 times through nurses, everyone puts the work on top of someone else here) the meds got here after much annoyance… yes I was being impatient but he didn’t have to be so unprofessional and ignorant abt the situation. He said the meds would come in 5 min-2 hours… and gave me very vague descriptions abt where the pharmacy is since I insisted on going myself. When I came back empty hand he asked me why I didn’t ask anyone but mind you it was 1 am and I didn’t see even one officer … over all they don’t give u info until u persist the doctors are okay but staff …not very much so and you will get answers to one question after asking 10 different times. As someone who came to liaqut hearing it to be one of the best hospitals in Karachi… I was truly very disappointed and wonder how Pakistan’s average hospitals are. Please re-train your staff (Ignore typos as I’m writing at 1:37 at the hospital)

One of the best tertiary care hospitals in Karachi serving ailing humanity It has a medical college affiliated with it since 2006 and that makes it more praiseworthy Consultation fees of specialist drs and rates for different tests and procedures are reasonable as compared to other hospitals Also included in medical panels of different companies

Maybe people have different opinions but my personal experience is not so good with this hospital it's a billing machine but unfortunately virtue of patient care is a business more than ibadat.

They have worst ever online appointment system. I booked for a telemed appointment with Dr. Attaur Rehman as I live in UAE and that appoinent was supposed to happen at 10 AM Pak time. I kept following up until 11:20 and the Dr. didn't show up in the clinic. Then I kept calling throughout the day and the OPD staff put me on hold for several minutes and vanished. I called around 3 PM and the operator told me there is lunch break. I again called at 4PM and the operator told me no one is in clinic as there is still lunch break. At last, the appointment never happened and the money I paid to book it gone wasted. It was really disappointed to see such thing coming from one of the largest hospital in Karachi. They shall be ashamed of themselves to be associated with the healthcare field.

    1. The guys in your radiology are extremely rude, it feels like you're in a government office with rude and ill mannered people. 2. your peds doctor told me that my 15 days old kid needs to be admitted into the NICU becuase of some infection without conducting any test and said he needs to be admitted in isolation, the legendary doctor name was durre shawar, later on the very next hour I went to aga Khan and they said nothing is wrong with him, motions are normal. It's been a month now alhamdulillah everything is fine, since then I've been to 3 different peds doctor no one said a thing about infection. Liaqait doctors would say anything to admit you and take money out of you for no reason Moral of the story, don't go to liaqait

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Nadeem Khurshidi at the hospital, and my experience was quite disappointing. During my consultation, he seemed uninterested and made light of the situation, lacking the seriousness expected from a healthcare professional. Furthermore, he spent a disproportionate amount of time being casual and wasted valuable consultation time. In the end, he hurriedly addressed my concerns in just a minute or two, leaving me feeling unheard and dissatisfied with the overall experience.
