Ok even if they cant do surgery bcz of some complications( according to them )still they are supposed to inform us that they have not done surgery and then why they kept her in ICU and made us charge for those plates.Just because they want to make money.According to doctor in other hospital there are no compliacations in my cousin's injury and surgery can be done any time hence this a.o clinic administrators are proved to be real thieves.

Dr charges 800 X-ray 750 Medicine (bandages cotton) Rs 1300 Plaster charges xtra 3,000 ( just for wrapping plaster ) I had X-ray with me . They said they will conduct X ray again. The quality of service and cleanliness of the hospital has become so bad over the last few years. We pay lacs for even simple surgeries and there is not enough place to sit, washrooms are extremely dirty. This picture of the dirty fan is from praying area in the Surgery/OT. Standards have fallen and most importantly so many students are hired, they may know general stuff but our patient is a heart patient and we wanted someone experienced to guide us not a young guy who googles every medicine we told him from patient history. I move my father to emergency Dept and entering the room has tangled up with ward boy as there was no doctor in emergency to accommodate us as he was perform the prayer. Then the Dr shakoor was so bad in attitude was not even speaking to us. his Assistant was more cooperative. Every staff was very bad in communication and dealing the pateint realtives. I stayed 3 days in Private room and found these including mosquitos. 3- Private room has several facilities including Refrigrator, Microwave and AC. But AC was cooling just at last stage. 4- Nothing proper facility for Wazoo, only available at sweeper areas. These management issues can be solve with little attention and budget if they have willingness. At this stage i cant discuss about medical staff. AO is the dedicated Ortho hospital so generally it should have level of satisfaction. My experience was satisfied so cant discuss about those who have probs..

REQUEST TO DR.IMRAN ALI SHAH: One of driver Sher Muhammad known to me was hit by a car and is currently admitted at 1st floor bed 103 and is overall satisfied with this hospital. He was previously mistreated by Jinnah hospital but AO clinic is treating him well. Due to the person very poor patient relative asked staff to provide estimate so that donations could be arranged but staff did not provide detail and giving 25k parchee alternate day which is paid by patients relative who arrange this with donations or loans. I would say the type of treatment they are providing is excellent as compared to cost incurred. However request our very respectable Sir. Dr.Imran Ali Shah to look at this case and give them discount and knee treatment which was innbad shape but now treated. I personally know this family is very poor. Please sir look into this.

This is a good hospital for orthopedic surgery. Anything to do with bones. It is a for profit private hospital so it is not cheap.

One should avoid this place unless it's an extreme emergency. Though it's highly unlikely you will find good doctor in emergency there. The worst emergency service. Doctors are not well experienced and trained. Doctors ask to initiate a procedure to raise blood pressure. We refused the procedure, got out of the hospital and moved to PN shifa and now the father is fine. I will go to Aga Khan and ask for the credibility of the emergency doctors.

I went to aga khan hospital for a covid test with my daughter for traveling, my daughter tested positive and I tested negative, my daughter had no symptoms, we sleep with my daughter in the same room, same bed, she's always indoors, unlike me who was moving up and about alot, I doubted the results and requested them for a repeat of which they didn't want to repeat despite saying I will pay again, so we decided to go to Nairobi hospital whereby my daughter was retested and she turned negative, I wonder if there was contamination with their testing kit or what was wrong, I also wonder why they were so resistant when I wanted a repeat test!!!

I have gone through two surgeries in less than 1.5 years here and that was my best experience as my 1st patellectomy surgery was done by Dr. Imran Shah and 2nd was meniscal repair done by Dr. Umer Butt. I visited A.O Clinic today. I had an emergency, so I thought it would be the best option. The staff was great and they treated me well, but Dr. Rajesh Kumar was quite rude. He doesn't how to talk to a patient. I walked into the room and greeted the doctor. I gave him my X-ray report. He said you need to have plaster. In the meantime, he was busy talking nonsense with others. I asked a simple question. I said, "Is there any dislocation?" He rudely replied, "I will answer the same no matter how many times you ask." This was my first question, and I was embarrassed due to his rude behavior. The worst thing about such doctors is that they write the word "consultant" after their name but don't know the meaning of it. I was not begging. I paid his fee and got insulted for no reason. I didn't say anything there because I'm not ill-mannered like him.

Bimalleolar fracture dislocation successfully treated from AO masha Allah turn out to be a life saving experience

I went to A.O Hospital to see Dr Imran Ali Shah for my avulsion fracture in the great toe which happened about two years ago and didn’t heal till now for some reason. Avulsion fractures are usually healed on their own by resting the fractured part and doesn’t require any treatment. I consulted other two reputed hospitals and they advised surgery which I completely agree is the last option I’m left with but I couldn’t get it done there as they’re highly expensive and I can’t afford them. As soon as I spoke to the guy sitting in the emergency room here I got disappointed with the hospital system and policies. I had online X-Ray images on my phone one of them was a month old, another was four months old and the third was two years old. The guy in the emergency room asked me to do another X-Ray to get a Film. Everyone knows that electronic X-Ray images retrieved online are as good as a Film. And the fact that X-Ray machine rays are harmful for the body hence X-Ray shouldn’t be done that frequently. I clearly understood that this place isn’t a hospital it’s like a company where management is doing business to make money they make you spend money to fill their bank accounts. Even after this disappointment I still wanted to see Dr Imran with a hope that he could be good at his work as he is trained overseas. I went there at 2pm waited until 4:30pm then I got to meet Dr. Imran. He turned out to be the most inexperienced Orthopaedic Surgeons I met so far. When I proposed the idea of surgery, first he said, “It’s not necessary that your fracture will completely heal after surgery it may still hurt.” When I said I don’t see any other option than surgery and the fact that the fracture hurts a lot especially when I walk long distances wearing joggers then he said, “Okay do a C.T Scan so that I can clearly see the fracture”. When I asked if we don’t go for a surgery what’s the second option and he replied, “you can take pain killers for the rest of your life”. It was all shocking to hear. No other surgeon demanded for C.T Scan. If an orthopaedic surgeon is an expert he doesn’t need C.T Scan only an X-Ray would be enough. I still took the reference for C.T Scan thinking that if I have come this far at least I should find the cost of a Scan. It turned out to be Rs.18,640. I called my mother over the phone explained her the whole thing and we came down to a conclusion that the reason why Dr Imran didn’t say confidently that it’s a small surgery and he can fix it easily as he is inexperienced. He unnecessarily wanted me to waste money on a C.T Scan. I decided not to go any further and just go home. I wasted Rs.5000 on a cab to go to this hospital then Rs.2900 on the Dr’s consultation fee and wasted my precious 6 hours on this useless visit. I went to this hospital with a hope that it was founded by great Dr. Mohammad Ali Shah an outstanding orthopaedic surgeon. And I thought his son may turn out to be as good as him. If Dr. Mohammad Ali Shah was alive today he would be ashamed on the policies of the hospital that doesn’t give a damn about lives and only concern about filling up their bank accounts.

This accident was happen with my son 3 months before it was a wonderful experience the staff and doctor both were very supportive and help throughout.The result of surgery was very good and now after 3 months he is again able to move his hand properly.

Its been three months of my femur neck surgery. Alhumdulillah, with Allah's grace, I can walk. I can't thank Dr. Syed Imran Shah enough for the amazing surgery he conducted. Thank you very much for your excellent care and surgery on me. Definitely recommended. The charges are really hefty, yet they did their best. One thing I recommend is that the management must provide a book to their patients in which all precautions must be listed. It will be helpful in their recovery process.
