The area has strict policies. Try to avoid checkpost 2 and 6 as they are usually more crowded than the others.

Malir Cantt is a well planned and executed place like all other cantonments. You get to live in a peaceful safe and secure environment, with basic amenities available, for grocery you have CSD , Imtiaz and local vendors as well for shopping you get some of the major clothing brands at your doorstep, KFC and other fast foods inside as well. Parks and markets to go out in evening and enjoy the time. So much for the insiders, for outsiders it's a havoc to enter their premises and you need to have your ID cards, your children B Form , to submit at the entrance 😕, anyways, they are doing their duty, and we have to comply being a citizen of the city, to ensure safety for all.

Beautiful, safe and secure. It's full of greenery and fresh air. You can't walk two blocks without finding a park. They also have 2 or three women's only parks and recreational grounds. It's like a small little city where you'll find almost everything one would need to go by their day. The best part is, they have no potholes (thank god) but they do have a lot of speed bumps. While it's really annoying to drive at really slow speeds (20KM/h), at least I won't wreck my car from the potholes.
