22May2022: Visited the Imtiaz Super Market situated on the ground floor, which doesn't seem to be very legitimate structure. Even this super store doesn't offer parking for the shoppers. These ugly towers have been constructed disregarding all civic amenities and rules. Another big problem is the emergence of these corporate mafias that buy huge quantity goods at very low rates and thus make small shops uncompetable. We must not disregard the small shops in our locality too. Courtesy: BB Health Tours

Imtiaz is always a go too for many people, as for this branch, it was my first time visiting it as I usually go to the main Gulshan one. The price is almost the same except for a few exceptions, but the space in the inside is much smaller and the interior is disigned differently than in the Gulshan branch. Overall it has almost everything with a convenient price point for today's standards.

Love the selection of buldak noodles they've recently added. Unfortunately on my last visit the AC wasn't working. I'm a regular visitor, they offer reasonable prices so the rush is understandable

One roof shopping gets easier here, you can find almost everything of your need. From household items, grocery, meat, makeup, medicines to electronics items this is the right place to shop. Imtiaz can get really crowded at the start of every month or in last few days of month. Choose the time and day wisely to visit and roam around in peace.

The crowded and cramped space, the suffocating atmosphere inside, the noise، unorganized shelves, no waiting area, no cold drinks, bad aroma every where, without parking, long queues on billing counters.

Imtiaz Super Market was started as a small corner shop; the true idea of selling more for less has grown over the last 65 years into the largest retail chain. Each year, Imtiaz Super Market serves millions of customers nationwide, 9 branches in Karachi, Sindh & 2 branches in Faisalabad & Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan. Since the first small corner shop opened in 1955 by M. Hakim Khan Abbasi at Bahadurabad, Karachi. They committed their legacy for making a difference in the lives & the shopping experience of their customers. Their successful business story is the result of Imtiaz Hussain Abbasi’s inventive leadership, along with the generations of associates; this rich heritage defines who they are and what they do. They are more focused on helping customers and communities to save money and enjoy the ultimate shopping experience every day.

Even though the Management is trying to keep up with SOPs lots of people are not abiding by the rules. Hopefully common sense would prevail.

Imtiaz is making huge profits instead of offering cheap prices like it used to do in the past. If any small company or entrepreneur approaches them to place their exceptional products instead of encouragement of local products they ask for a huge percentage share for selling.

This place is exceptionally good. You name the product and its there at a very nominal charges. Another good thing about this outlet is that its spacious unlike Bahadurabad outlet. It has three levels. They accept cards and cash both. They have several counters to facilitate customers.

Small but accessible, 18 hours timings (before lockdown) and pricing made it my favorite grocery store. Meat section is probably their speciality, which offers fresh, quality and cheap products. Maybe not the best place to buy imported items, utensils and electronics as they are on the expensive side compared to the quality. Full range of groceries are available at market competitive price. This outlet lacks a few sections compared to other branches.

Great store with awesome variety local and imported available. Spread over 3 floors you will find a great range of products for crockery, spices and home items and foods etc. Also stationary is available in it. Parking is a an issue though.

Carts are always filthy, staff is always blocking the aisle and speaking loudly. They'll just brush by you or follow you closely just to get by you. The cashiers dont greet you or acknowledge you. They just start throwing your items. Lastly... This specific branch is always out of basic things that one needs. So, you always have to go to another store to finish your shopping.

Simple, economical, and a practical supermarket. Not everything available as the bigger branches. But sufficient selection. Very good time to go early. Very busy all day.

Very ideal place to shop monthly grocery. Almost all essential items of your grocery list are available here. Weigh and prices are guaranteed.

  • 5/5 Fatima N. 1 year ago on Google
Very conveniently located! Great to find a variety of daily groceries and household items under one roof. Prices are very reasonable compared to other such department stores. Cooperative staff too. Only wish they'd add in footwear and garments as well to this branch.

It's an amazing place for everyday groceries and other things. The pricing of Imtiaz is very competitive as compared to other stores. The location is convenient and the variety is unmatchable.

  • 4/5 Hassan S. 10 months ago on Google
Price competitive, But congested Place and have to shop in multifloors which sometime become very difficult due to Rush. Parking is issue but there is Valet service too, again they take too much time in bringing your vehicle.

Gradually decreasing standard. Mostly near to expire products, sometimes you can get the substandard too (I've personal experience, I buy a branded cooking oil but that was substandard, I contacted directly to the company, they inspect and denied that this is not their products. I provide them the evidence. They replace the can and took the substandard one along with evidences. Don't know what they did.. Now Imyiaz is just focusing on doing rental business....

It has a good collection of items for sale just like other Imtiaz outlets. Rates of many items are somewhat lower than other stores. Parking is a big problem as the road remains congested. Plus parking mafia is operating here. On one occasion I refused to pay parking to the Pathan. When I returned, there was a big scratch on my car and the Pathan was nowhere to be seen.

The staff is very supportive and you can always find a hidden gem here. Not a place with a variety of cheese

  • 4/5 M Jawwad M. 4 months ago on Google
From fresh to frozen to dry groceries plus medicine plus electronics plus home items plus cosmetics all available here. Vegetables and fruits are available at amazing prices. It's recommended.

Can easily be labeled as a super market but there's very little room for customer mobility inside the store. Sometimes it's almost impossible to move trollies from one corner to the other corner due to insufficient space for customers when there's influx of people and this happens most of the time because of the huge traffic of customers. Ideally supermarkets are purposely built but in this case the market has merged normal shops and then converted it to a supermarket without keeping in view the space required for the customers to move back and forth.

Visited recently and was impressed by the excellent service and diverse range of products. The staff were attentive and helpful, making the shopping experience enjoyable. The store's variety catered to different needs, from clothing to household items, ensuring a one-stop-shop convenience. Overall, a positive experience that encourages repeat visits.

Really nice place for shopping You can get all kind of stuff here like Grocery Crockery Food items Perfumery Cosmetics Clothing Toiletries Toys Stationery Chicken beef fish Vegetables Bedsheets etc. But it was really smelly due to vegetables and meat stuffs

Used to be good but recently they have barricaded the foot path so you can't take your trolley to your car. So you are forced to hire a porter.

Always new experiences.. Every month or every time when you go to buy grocery it is a great experience regarding prices and variety of products.. This time we have found many bundles of offers which is on display by Imtiaz management.. Now a days it's October-2023 Dollar price is Decreasing day by day thats why products prices are also reducing, Any how Imtiaz management wants to clear it's stock that's why they are giving these kinds of offers..

Imtiaz Supermarket is a great place to buy groceries and other essentials. The store is spacious and well-stocked, and the staff are courteous and helpful. The products are fresh and of good quality, and the prices are reasonable. They have a wide range of items, from fruits and vegetables to dairy and meat to snacks and beverages. I always find what I need at this supermarket, and I am very satisfied with their service.

Considering the customer footfall in any of Imtiaz's locations, the payment areas are small, congested and on odd locations in the stores. Usually the POS are on the exit but not in Imtiaz Stores case which is huge inconvenience to the shoppers and employees both.

It's nice place to visit for groceries and other household stuff. Overall nice experience to vsist and buy from there on reasonable price compared to other departmental stores.

I expected Imtiaz Super Market Sir Syed Road spacious & more comfortable than Bahadurabad branch where I normally go shopping. But this Sir Syed Road / Tariq Road outlet wasn't up to the expectations. Too much stock was piled up on the ways, near lift so it was difficult for customers to move. Staff is less cooperative. Parking is also a problem.

  • 3/5 Aijaz A. 11 months ago on Google
A Very famous chain of departmental stores in Karachi. The rates are Reasonable as compared to other super stores. Everything available under one umbrella

  • 3/5 Omran S. 1 year ago on Google
Okay-ish. Not so big and can get congested easily in rush hours. Very narrow aisles to move the trolley through. Wait for the elevator to take the trolley to the top floor or basement.

  • 4/5 Zain A. 1 year ago on Google
As always an amazing experience and affordable prices. The place gets a bit crowded but it perfectly ventilated and the staff is helpful along with the location. The place is easily accessible just parking is a big hassle.

Specially in this lockdown era, it is a blessing that we have all needs fulfilled under one roof. Plus Imtiaz PECHS is opening earlier at 8 in the morning now a days, which is a suitable time for purchasing in this hot weather.

I like this place very much. You can buy everything as far as the basic necessity is concerned. Infact i found products rates less than the outside retail local markets. The quality is superb, i love the perfume section because i am a perfume lover. But they should not charge for parking atleast.
