It would have been nice to see this looked after to get a sense of what is at least available now. Worth a visit if you are around the area but not so much to see as of yet due to poor maintenance.

This is the place from which the islad got its name-- KAYTS. Caise da elephentas. The jetty, platform or quay from which elephats were shipped to India. With time Caise became Kayts not just for the port but the whole island.

Amazing photographic place. Beauty of the place enhanced by the ruins of fort. Historical place but not known much among local and foreign tourists.

I recently visited Kayts Island Fort and was blown away by its beauty and historical significance. The views of the ocean from the top of the fort are breathtaking and the guided tour was very informative. I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful and fascinating location.

Superb calm place

Nice place reminding of the time before the war. Although the Fort is only ruins now, the area is of a nice view. Full of boats.

Definitely take a look. Nice historical place! So if you are here, go there :)

Its ok

Nice place to visit at the top of kayts and probably the only one that attracted me. A secluded area though and the waters are safe if you wanna explore.

Not much left of this fort in Kayts. Nothing is preserved and it's left in ruins with no maintenance whatsoever. Place is filled with trash. Wish a little more effort was done to keep the place clean but again, it's just ruins. However it is a very nice place in absolute quiet. I recommend it to spend some quality time alone with beautiful views of the waters and take in the non-stopping ocean breeze.

Cool ruins! Makes for a good picnic spot or an area with a bit of privacy if you are changing for swimming or whathaveyou. Nice beach for a dip just beside. Too bad there is no discernable effort at conservation.
