Additionally, the park is well-known for its sledging opportunities during snowy winters. Overall, it is a fantastic place to visit and spend quality time with loved ones.

Frankly, Luitpold Park is my favorite park in Munich. The place is so calm and not crowded even in the summertime. One of the most beautiful skyline panorama of Munich opens from the upper hill, at day time and in the night. The green lawns, benches are best suitable for meditation, reading, yoga, music listening or city gazing. INSIDER TIP: May is the greenest point in the park with a spectacular chestnut blooming and huge dandelions covering the lawns. The lush vegetation is at its peak in May. And June, July and August are the perfect time to see the wild alpine flowers, which cover the lawns like a colorful carpet. It is the best time for the picnics on the grass. Also during the warm months the small Biergarten zum Brunnengarten is open, offering the super tasty Balkan grill dishes and beer.

Nice central-location park, clean and well maintained. Several playgrounds for kids, ability to let dogs off leash in some areas. Small hill provides great views and added calorie burn for walkers and runners. Cozy beer garden. Close to Subway Stop.

Great in Summer with lots of activities for kids and family. 3 playgrounds and 2 Biergarten. In winter you can go schledding (Schlitten) when there's enough snow. Truely beautiful.

Nice place to hangout especially if the sun is out. You can do a mini hike if you like to reach a small hill top. Lots of greenery around for you to have a picnic 😌, a run, a brisk walk, or just hangout. There is an adjoining biergarten if you would like to enjoy a few beers as well.

Nice green park with rose garden and several hills with nice views. Playground and statues, family gardens. In the winter sledding and cross-country skiing.

It's good. Pretty dark at night if you're walking a dog, but as far as parks go, I would rank it a 7/10. No need to go out of your way to visit it if it's not nearby. Lol

Lovely park in the city centre. Accesible by public transport (U-Bahn, Scheidplatz; many tram and bus lines). It has a hill/mountain created with the debris from WWII. There you can enjoy the views of the city and bring your drinks for the sunset (the sunset view are better tho from Olympiapark hill).
