Brand new brewing house that could belong in a big city, but found in cute little Kaslo! No table service in off peak season - order what you want at the counter. Huge patio for summer time, and many unique beers on offer. All Angry Hen brews! A first for me: a flight of non alcoholic options! I was able to try all three and doubled up on the gingerale. Truly, strong, real ginger flavour. The lemonade I should have stirred better because had a shot of strong sweet, then strong lemon for the rest. My favourite was the cherry pomegranate scrub (flavoured vinegar with carbonation). It was such a good, sweet, strong juice flavour and mild vinegar. Menu changes frequently, and not always reflected online as I discovered the burger option on offer. It had a ton of bacon and cheese, really juicy patty, and artisan greens. My partner enjoyed the lighter falafel taco and side salad. His favourite was the pickled beets, I liked the pumpkin in the salad and mild goat cheese on the taco. Highly recommend!

I always make it a point to check out breweries everywhere that I visit. Who would have thought that the tiny town of Kaslo BC would have a brewery? Not me. The beers were delicious and I enjoyed a flight. The weather at the time wasn't nice enough to enjoy the beautiful patio, but we will when we come back!

This was my boyfriend and I’s fourth year at The Hen and damn it was good! We got to experience the extended patio and kitchen for the first time and were so excited to see them doing so well! We also got to try their new “Magic Fingers” lager specifically brewed for the Kaslo Jazz Fest! Loved the idea of a collab with a tattoo artist, was super unique. As usual, we enjoyed kicking back a good amount of Roostertail’s and Wild Roosters as well as meeting some lovely locals. Always excellent!

Awesome brewery. Been there numerous times this summer. My only gripe is that some of the staff could benefit from learning some service and interpersonal skills. Some act as if they are doing you a favour by serving you a beer and then asked for a 18 percent tip on the credit card reader

I have not had the alcohol here, but the food is absolutely amazing! I've been so impressed every time I've eaten here. On top of the food being delicious, the service is great and the staff is really friendly. I definitely recommend!

Definitely a brewery you want to visit! Located in a great spot in Historic kaslo this place has something for everyone. I had a glass of Up the Kreik, a shout cherry beer, very tasty! Friendly staff and a lovely outdoor seating area.

Angry Hen has great beer and snacks. We tried a sampler of lighter beers, which our server/expert selected for us. Had a Jamaican patty with olives on the side. Delicious! Check out the tap pulls on the wall. They are cleavers! They’re not kidding about the angry hen…a must stop when you’re in Kaslo.

Only had time for 1 beer before getting back to the ferry at Balfour. Hope to be back soon!
