I had a wonderful stay at this accommodating and peaceful guesthouse. The neighborhood is out of the hustle and bustle of central Thamel (a good thing for me) roughly at the midpoint between Thamel and Durbar Square/Freak Street. As such, the main attractions in this part of Kathmandu are all within walking distance. The room was very clean with hot water available 24hrs and the guesthouse garden/courtyard and rooftop were very chill and pretty. Breakfast was basic but filling and hygienic. Full points to the helpful and friendly staff who were always available to answer questions and help me with logistics. My only suggestion is that if you are sensitive to cold and visiting in the winter you might want to book an upper floor room which are exposed to more sunlight. Excellent value for Kathmandu - highly recommended!

The boy at the reception was very rude and had no respect for the guests. We reached at 10 PM and we were given 3 big forms to fill. We requested to provide atleast one room so that our kid can sleep as we were holding him for a long time but he rudely said no one can enter the hotel before filling up the form and passport details. We had a confirm booking for 3 rooms still we had to face all this. The rooms were completely different than was shown on the app. The rooms were smelly and had no TV though we had opted for that. There are 2 buildings one new and another old and they are showing different pictures and giving old rooms. Rooms were given on 4th floor and there was no lift. There was no one to carry our luggage. Need to work a lot on the customer service front.

I really like this place. The entrance has a really nice garden for breakfast,lunch or dinner and it’s off the Main Street. The main building is very old with a lot of character which l really like. I rent out the terrace apartment on top as it is spacious and more private. The manager is a lovely guy and all the staff are welcoming and friendly.

We spend several nights at Kathmandu Boutique Hotel and it was always amazing. During our trip in Nepal we came 3 times back to this lovely place and spend in total 15 nights. We always stayed in the very nice restored ancient part of the building, which was part of a former palace, with a lot of wooden carvings and original items. The staff is very helpful and friendly and it felt like coming home. All the rooms we had, were really nice and clean. The location is just perfect to explore the area around Durbar Square and Thamel, but also very quiet. It has a very nice garden to relax and the kitchen serves very good food. The hotel has a travel agency attached and that was very convenient for organizing and booking our treks and buses (at a good price according to our checks at other agencies). We were very happy with the guides they chose for us and everything worked out just fine. Thanks a lot for everything: We will definitely come back! 🙏

Nice cozy hotel. Very close to Kathmandu Durbar square. Very nice restaurant. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staffs are friendly.

Go there if you are on tight budget and no expectations. Got myself a dirtiest room with tiny washroom and fake floor tiles! You'll also have a hard time figuring out how the f does the key works! And another thing, rather than being sound proof, those rooms are enhancer! You can easily join any conversation, discussion even fight down on the street right from your room, even when your doors and windows are locked properly! 😂😂😂

This is a medium sized boutique hotel located within easy walking distance of Thamel. The rooms are a good size, and the staff are attentive & friendly. There is a garden area at the front of the hotel which is a nice quiet shady place to sit, a pleasant refuge from the busy hum drum of Kathmandu.

Can't beat this wonderful little hotel with its quiet rooms (above 2nd floor), fantastic and welcoming staff and owner-manager! They are very conscientious here of making you feel at home and will do their best to get you what you need. After a terrible experience in another Kathmandu 'hotel', this place was a very welcome relief! Would be back in a heartbeat 🙏

Unsere Reise liegt schon ein paar Tage zurück aber ich erinnere mich immer wieder gerne zurück an unsere ersten und die letzten tage der Reise die wir in diesem Hotel verbracht haben. Das Personal und auch der Chef haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und waren durchweg immer sehr gut gelaunt und freundlich. Das Hotel selbst ist in ein paar Zimmern, auch am Eingang, etwas klein von der Deckenhöhe, was aber absolut kein Minuspunkt ist, wir fanden es sehr Interessant. Da unsere Gruppe alle eine Körpergröße von 1,80m aufwärts haben mussten wir teilweiße geduckt durch manche Bereiche laufen. Die Zimmer waren alle sehr sauber sowie die Toiletten und Duschen. Obwohl das Hotel selbst an einer sehr belebten Straße liegt ist es im vorderen Bereich, auf dem sich auch der Sitzbereich außen befindet, sehr ruhig. Im Großen und Ganzen zu empfehlen.

Stayed here a few years ago as a teenager. Absolutely loved it, staff helped us with everything and building is stunning.

Front office guy Bipan is so polite and helpful. Nice rooms, open restaurant to have food. Hotel is on road just to walk a minute to entry gate. Markets are close on walking distance. Nice place to stay with family and friends.

Good and affordable price free breakfast include egg omlate with bread jam and butter, tea or coffee, boiled potato, Only rice items are there so you cannot find roti in lunch or dinner, staff are cooperative and good. If you want a good place in this area it is best for live ac and deluxe room are there

I think this place was very good value for Kathmandu. The location was on the edge of Thamel and off the busy street so it avoided traffic noise. Also had a nice garden courtyard for breakfast or relaxing. The staff was very attentive. The rooms are quite large with good hot showers. If you are expecting European or North American standards, it will not be like that anywhere at this price range. The included breakfast is 2 eggs, 2 toast, fried potatoes with vegetable and coffee or tea.

Nice Hotel with really nice Security Guard :-). This guy impressed us. He carried all our bags at once and he was very friendly. Rooms are ok. It is possible to sit outside in the garden.
