Very clean, beautiful and cozy place to stay in the heart of Kathmandu near Stupa Swayambhu. Owners are very responsible and reliable, so water, wifi and electricity is always working (they have generator). I stayed there 3 times, and I will always return to Swayambhu View Guesthouse to stay in Kathmandu! Highly recommend!

Clean and pleasant accommodation. Definitely the best of all we have tried during our travels in Nepal. Great people work here and the place is a short walk from the center where the air is better!

They have a European approach to things which one cannot not find in Kathmandu so often. The rooms are large and very clean, including bathrooms.. The building isn't newly constructed, but well maintained. The crown jewel is Swayambhu stupa visible from the garden and rooms.

Really charming guesthouse in a quiet area with friendly staff, cozy small garden and wonderful rooftop. Just a few minutes from famous Swayambhu Stupa. Cafe, restaurants, shops are in a walking distance. Highly recommend.

Super clean very friendly and helpful staff. A little bit out of the way compared to the rest of the city but if you value peace and solitude it is excellent. Great WiFi, includes laundry service. Very nice clean rooms. we had a great view of the stupa from our window.The local neighborhood is very atmospheric and pleasant to walk around. There are a number of excellent cafes that locals frequent which are also quite good for westerners. Highly recommend. Excellent value.

If you are looking for accommodation in Kathmandu, this is a very nice place to stay. Very well located and well maintained guest house at the foot of Swayambuh hill in a quiet and good area, perfect to recover after busy days out. The rooms are very clean and tidy. You can sit in the garden or enjoy the roof terrace. The views over the city or towards the Swayambuh Stupa are breathtaking. A fully equipped kitchen with its own space for your things offers independence and, if you want, the opportunity to meet up with other guests in the house. Everything you need can be found in the immediate vicinity. Cabs are easy to get if you want to explore the city. The atmosphere is familiar. The hosts are super friendly, responsive and attentive. I would recommend Swayambuh View Guesthouse without hesitation to friends and strangers alike.
