The complex has ample parking facility underground. It has Qfx cinemas, few restaurants, saloons,etc. Giving the place 4 stars for the design and architecture. This mall is newly built all in one mall. It is a very big mall although I'm not sure how many storeys it is. But for climbing up , all those storeys there are escalators that are very functional. Also in case of emergency there are facilities of staircases which was hardly used when i was there. There are different varieties of shops available like saloon, beauty shop, cloth garments shops , you can enjoy varieties of coffee ,tea and other caffeinated drinks too. A xerox shop for printing and photocopying is also there. And there is also a big underground parking system available.

One of the latest malls at Kathmandu that caters almost every kind needs from movie to eatery to shopping and much more. The mall has one two plus storied of parking lot on the ground and under ground with a bit expensive price for parking so far in KTM. It has ATM on the ground floor and casino as well. There’s a movie theater. The VFS Global that collects documents for abroad embassies has made the mall busier with almost every embassies letting VFS work for them despite having embassies in Nepal. The middle open space conducts various performance in different occasions as well

chhaya center is a really popular mall in thamel, it has various shops including some offices too. vfs global is located in the 3rd floor of chhaya center, it is a place for submission of visa application and biometrics for people who want to go abroad. They are operating well in the covid situation, maintaining distancing and sanitation. It may get crowded and a bit noisy outside but the process inside doesn't last long if you have everything. The staffs are kind, on point and fast, the security is tight too. If you go for biometrics or application, be sure you are well informed about you time and you have all the required documents

Everytime you step into this business complex, one needs to be reminded that it is built on encroached public land (infact a pond) and is a stark reminder to how Nepal's land mafias can work. But the design is good and the location is centrally located (best for parking space around Thamel). Yet the mall seems dead except for its cinema hall.

What a sad-looking mall/shopping center this is. Lots and lots of empty spaces, almost giving a vibe of an abandoned warehouse. Nothing is vibrant here except for a few coffee shops on the ground floor. Interestingly long line of people waiting on visa processing is unavoidable. Sensibly built? I think not, but that is the story of Kathmandu.

One of the best shopping center in town. Recently opened and has variety of Shopping places. There is a cinema on the 4th floor, VFS services on the third and many stores from ground floor to 2nd floor. There is ample parking space available. The shops are obviously a bit expensive for the rent they pay I suppose and the restrooms are not as expected. The cubicles were yellowish and the overall restroom will not meet expectation for most people.

Can Chaya Center pls make these escalators go up and down in the same lane? It’s just plain stupid to take escalator and then walk around to take the next escalator.

It is a trade center and the largest shopping mall inside Kathmandu. Where there are various offices, Schengen Visa Application Center (VFS), Cinema Hall, Cafe & Restaurant, Dance Bar, Casino, Clothing Store etc.

Peace, something you will find there among all those shopping complexes. Key shops right there:- Himalayan Java Remax QFX Cinemas VFS Global Spacious with parking facilities.

There were stalls with various types of food on sale. It is a beautiful place for shopping and for taking photos. Lots of young girls and guys were busy taking pictures and making videos around the building. Parking fee is quite high for a 2 wheeler at Rs 35 for less than an hour parking.

The most appealing aspect of Google Maps is its simplicity. The interface is clean and easy to use, while still providing a wealth of features and information. The map itself is also very accurate and detailed, making it a useful tool for navigation. Its navigation is pretty accurate. I have never had a problem with it not finding an address or giving me the wrong directions. Another thing I like is that you can see satellite images of places. This can be helpful when you are trying to find a specific building or landmark. Finally, I like that you can overlay different types of information on the map. For example, you can view traffic conditions or public transit options as well. It saves time to bypass the busy route while you are driving a car. I used to face navigation issues around 7 years back. Even one day I was looking for a restaurant and I was passing the location surrounding the main spot but was not finding the spot due to a navigation error. It was really disturbing navigation. After that I didn't use the maps for 2 years, can you imagine? But nowadays it is much more improved, I hope Google maps will continue its development for the ease of the users' needs.

We've been told it was the largest mall in Kathmandu but while been there, only like 60% shop closed since pandemic. Yes it's modern & in-style for Nepali.

Nice place for a movie, shopping, lunch and entertainment. There are a wide variety of stores. Well facilitated with parking for 2 wheelers & 4 wheelers. They have clean and hygienic washrooms. You can find good restaurants on the ground floor. Besides all, the parking charge is ridiculous. They should follow and implement proper metropolitan rules for parking.

My experience in this establishment has just been normal, without any bad surprises. The food is decent, the halls are clean, the staff are friendly and most important of all, the Cinema experience is above average.

I had an excellent experience at QFX Chaya Center. Situated in the heart of Kathmandu, it's easily accessible even at night. The cinema boasts a fantastic screen and impressive sound effects, creating an immersive movie-watching experience. The center has various products and retail shops. Mainly famous for Visa Forward Service-VFS center, Travel Office, Himalayan Java Coffee and QFX. However public transport access is not available here. You need to walk for 1km. All services and stuff available here are a little bit more expensive. Over all I give 4 stars for this place. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Visit during a Thai festival. Large shopping centre located in Thamel where a large hotel and its restaurants are attached but not only, because a cinema is there

The complex is nice.. though the parking for bikes is way below & the time i visited here, it was raining heavily, so the parking was flooded.. There are empty rental shutters still available for shops.. The australian biometrics center is also situated here on the third floor..

You will get lost here. I don't know why there isn't any experience of mall here. The courtyard should have been designed in such a way to connect people there but every stalls and corner seems disconnected. Now due to less people visiting here, the upper floor is with UK embassy so they place will be slightly different than it was originally meant for. I really wished the architect had focused on the courtyard.

Chhaya Centre is in the heart of Thamel, tall building just few metres away from Keshar Mahalo, Garden of Dreams, this mall was supposed to serve in a wide varieties of shops from garments to liquor to restaurants and what not. But only few of the stores have managed to business. You can find yourself in a maze inside here. Jokes apart, the most entertaining arena is Himalayan Java, in the first floor itself, with good ambience, and the food court is massive. If you wanna shop, only few stores are available at curre nt situation. They do have QFX Chhaya, on the top most level , they serve wide cinematic varieties , but due to pandemic, they are close for now, but will function in near future. Location: Near Keshar Mahal, Garden of Dreams , Thamel right turn from Narsingh Chowk . Nice shopping centre in town...but still under construction....many shop are not occuped yet...

Qfx cinemas...went for it.. have lots of fun and find next to it a Aloft hotel... and many shops shutter are close or open space with good quality of food for hunger and a night club , enough parking space.....

Good shopping mall in Thamel. There are many showrooms and food places in the building but the main attraction of this center is the qfx theater. The Chhaya center is generally crowded during a popular movie premiere. The shops are expensive here. Has good 2 level underground parking space is available which is not free and charges on hourly basis.

It was nice experience overall. The food court has limited options but the quality and quantity is great. If you are a shopaholic then this is the best place to go for. You can get everything at one place.
