Open only every Thursdays, this night market is one of our favorites, offering an array of food, fruits, fun stuff, clothes and everything under the sun. Our favorite booth here is the sushi place as well as the bar which sells some of the cheapest cocktails in Phuket. The seasonal fruit stands are also great and there’s just a range of good Thai food and fare to choose from. We’re 6 kilometers away from this spot but we love walking here every Thursday for our pre weekend treats!

Night market more geared for the locals. So much more authentic. Posted prices reflected this. Anything not posted, more likely than not, the prices change when you are a tourist: there are two prices, one for local and one for foreigners. If you’re ok with that buy there. Not as clean and upscale as the Boat ave or Lifestyle one. We didn’t try everything. But the one grilled chicken guy was amazing.—I have commented on his stand in the photos Of course fresh fruit smoothie perfect. Didn’t eat too much but my eyes were very hungry…

A night market of cheap and low quality plagiarism. However, it is a place for tourists to come here and experience a little market atmosphere where they can eat some of the different street foods or drink some juice from exotic fruits. You will also find fruit and vegetables.

Rather small but good enough. Lots of great and cheap street food. Clothes very reasonably priced. Worth a night's out.

The so called Mango Market, only Monday and Thursday. Pretty big street market with a lot of various street food and drinks, fruits, seafood, clothes, souvenirs and a lot more. Cheap and tasty street food to eating on foot or take away home. Pork/chicken barbecue skewer is 15 baht each, excellent shrimps Pad Thai big portion for 40 baht; 1 kg peeled and chopped up pineapple is 120 baht. Good place for buying presents like local souvenirs, cashmire scarfs (100 baht), t-shirts (100 baht), local souvenir soaps 3 for 100 baht.

Didn't try the food, unfortunately, but overall was fun - t-shirts, fake watches, souvenirs and a nice few stands with fruit and vegetables. There is also a bar with cocktails in the centre.

It gets ridiculously busy, the market is surrounded by upmarket restaurants full of rich Russian tourists, prices are aimed at tourists, I’d look elsewhere, there’s a better night market further out of the middle of Bang Tao which is aimed more at locals

Nice place to walk walk see see, there's a lot of tents selling foods, clothes and even a bar, I had grab a few cool clothes and pants, price wise was ok, had a long island tea for only 100 baht. Parking was plenty and free

Not very lively. Hardly anything to eat but got great fruit smoothie for 50bht and some mango and dragon fruit to go. Guess not enough people yet to have a proper night market.

One of the surviving markets. They call it night market but it closes at 8pm. We went there at 2pm as it starts to open. Relatively decent stuff to get.

Food Poisoning… have been to this market many times, good street food selections. Good fresh produce. Lots of souvenirs and clothes. Open Monday and Thursday. 3-8pm ish. 2nd time sitting with locals eating the noodle curry with fresh veg/salad on the long table at this market. Have had this many times across the island. I asked for the veg curry and it was fish. Having been here for 9 months this is the 1st food poisoning. Feel really bad today after 5 explosive hours last night… westerners 50b and thai 30b for the noodles. Friend had coconut curry and is ok 👍🏽

It is probably also called mango Market, which is frequent by locals.... You get nice local food, at reasonable to me prices. Otherwise the usual souvenirs and stuff can be found here. Many hotel offers this bike trishaw which cost about 100bht

Small but if u are in area on Thursday must go and check it out - u can hassle for price, they will call u expensive drive first and you can say no and they will give u different price after

Good night market. Great food and drink options, but lots of repeats for clothing and other stuff. The cocktail vendor gets 5 stars for sure!

A not to miss activity! Lots of special booths, plenty of delicious, fresh food and the atmosphere is super cosy.. People are super friendly, most speak English, decent prices and they just love kids. We had a wonderful time. Don't miss to go here!

Fantastic selection of local dishes/street food with a few unusual stalls in between. You also get the usual stuff for tourists of course.

A great place for bargains. Plenty of the usual t-shirts, bags, sunglasses and gifts. Plus many street food vendors. Some of the foods looked suspect! You pay your money, you take your chances. We were flying home the following day so gave the food a miss. Bought plenty of gifts though.

One of my favorite markets with many clothes to choose from and some food but mainly clothing The market is here on Thursdays. It may be here another day of the week I don't know. But it moves to the temple at Karon on Tuesday and Friday

Very small market, we came at 14 but it seems like it's really functional around 16. Most of the food is not local, or not of the common thai dishes. Prices are ok though, if you want vegtables its pretty good

The most rundown night market in Phuket in my opinion. Poorly sheltered with openings in the middle of the walkway. Stalls are uninteresting too...not recommended for tourists. The better choice is another nearby night market on Wednesdays at the carpark of Lotus supermarket/Pizza Company/McDonald's.

This place is amazing, the things you can find being either clothes, food, jewelry... The list goes on. And you don't get ripped off in the process. Brilliant.

It was alright. There's more souvenirs selling than food. But the very few food stalls there are selling authentic Thai delicacies which are nice.

Very small (10-15 stalls) with the usual knick knack fakes and cosmetics but also some decent food. Bought grilled mackerel and white fish for 100 baht and it was delicious.

It's just a small market now... But has some inexpensive food and fresh fruits and vegetables.

One of the most decent markets in Phuket. Some of the stuff I couldn't even find at Old Town Phuket. Would recommend if you're staying around this area.

It's a dying place. Don't expect to much, like other crowded night markets. Couple of sellers there, but rather smaller and smaller over the last years.

Thursday market with small but good selection of fresh veggies, clothes and some household items. Had delicious chicken laarb and chicken satay for dinner. Try this stall! Vendors (Ying & Mai) speak excellent English.

One of the bigger open markets you’ll find in Phuket during this time. They have some food and clothes. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Have to go because bang tao has nothing much to do. Turn out to be a nice place!! Nice street food- Try the bbq corn n its great! And some shopping.. good for a one hour walk around~

Great night market. Cheapest prices to buy souvenirs near Bang Tao Beach area, tons of knock-off/fakes but a lot of them looked well made. This was the best place to get street food in the area. Thursday night was the only night it was open while I was there, make sure you check to see if it's open before you go.

The market is lively, good prices lots of foods and goods to buy and experiment, but there is not toilets or something to clean up near, and you will need after you taste the food.

  • 5/5 Nazar G. 2 years ago on Google
Very cool local market. They have a lot of local food for perfect price!

Easy, friendly and very low priced local market. Find fresh fruit, vegetables and meats that's are locally sourced and extremely fresh. Support local producers and try as many snacks as you can, regardless of language barriers just try and interact and see the great heart if the locals.

👍 There were no guards in the temple, so I went in and looked around. Three dogs barked and pulled out their teeth and suddenly ran towards them. The dogs seemed to weigh 30 kg.
