Its a cheap price hostel for a budget traveler. Very near to patong beach and popular Bangla street. Room wasnot very good enough. But enough on a budget. Service was good and friendly.

Terrible service, reception had a bad atitude and overall unwillingness that overrides the rooms; which are clean but small with a good in room bathroom. I dont recommend it but isnt the worst budget hostel.. take your chances.

Located closely to the busy clubbing area yet the rooms are quiet. Room is nice and came with all the facilities needed, but the bathroom had a funny smell. The staff is very nice.

Room is very clean and the location is perfect. You are tucked away so it’s quiet and you can sleep well, but easy to walk 2 minutes and you’re on Bangla road. Also, there is a motorbike shop next to the hostel with an easy rental process that I would recommend. Convenient to have nearby. Overall, no complaints with this hostel.

I recently stayed at Hip Hostel in Phuket, located right in the heart of Patong. Despite initial concerns about its size, the hostel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were surprisingly clean, and having a private bathroom for each room was a definite plus. While the hostel is on the smaller side, it creates a cozy and calm atmosphere, a refreshing change from the typical party hostels in the area. The strategic 2-minute walk to Bangla Road makes it perfect for party enthusiasts, yet the hostel remains peaceful, allowing for a good night's rest. A great choice for those seeking a balance between vibrant nightlife and a relaxing stay.

It is in the main area of Patong but is nestled in an alley where there is less noise, therefore we could have a peaceful sleep at night! Is not a very lively hostel though (no activities etc). We were 3 females who got a private room for ourselves (with a private bathroom)- good room for a very affordable price! :) Hostel staff are also really helpful! :-)

Clean, friendly staff and perfect location! Comfy beds and good lockers! Also able to arrange a ferry and taxi from the hostel! No problems at all!

This place is located perfectly near Patong beach and Bangla Street. You can score some good khush they have some super good stuff for sale. Lovely infrastructure and great staff! Would love to stay again if i get chance to visit Patong.

4th floor private room was super dope. Not noisy at all! Not a hostel vibe tho. It’s super clean and the stuff is super sweet :)

A decent available option in just INR 700 for a bed. It's in the main city area with quick walking access to Bangla Road, Patong Beach and the nearby mall. The hosts are very helpful and the place is very clean.

Easy, effortless stay at hip hostel. Two staff members at desk were very helpful wit transport to the airport and food recommendations. Clean and quiet place, only thing is that beds were slightly uncomfortable! Would recommend if you’re looking for a cheap/clean hostel near the beach and Bangla road, but don’t want to be in the heat of the chaos.

i like it a lot. there is free coffee and tea. it‘s super clean, friendly and easy going staff. it is close to the center but still very quiet. i really can recommend it!

The hostel has an excellent location, it’s close to everything. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I would recommend this hostel to everyone.

Perfect location, walkable to the party and the beach but far enough away from the noise sleeping wasn't an issue. Staff was incredibly helpful and responsive. I was able to email them with questions while I was out and about and they answered almost instantly. Only piece of feedback is the lockers are made with cheap particle board and aren't bolted down. They could easily be picked up and hauled right out of the room or broken into. Even with that being the case we felt safe and weren't too worried. I really liked this place, simple and perfect for the price point.

Great price. Great service. Clean and well equiped rooms. Right in the middle of patong beach on a quiet road. 5 stars. I did the phuket sandbox program through them and everything went great. They were very accomodating and flexible.

Very nice little hostel in the centre of Pa Tong, March 2022. Very clean dormitory. Great welcome. 5 min walk to the bar street.

The lady at reception was very kind and helpful. She organised everything for our PCR test requirements. Accommodation is clean, tidy and good value for money. Very close to Patong main Street and nightlife, but still very quiet for a good night's sleep (5-8mins walk). Would definitely stay again.

Staff are unfriendly, unhelpful, and after telling me they have availability for the days I was interested in, they just pushed me to e-mail them when I called them to try and book a room. I e-mailed them. No answer. I called them back, they said they will respond, no response. 9 hours later, they e-mailed me telling me there is no availability. I could have booked somewhere else if they didn't waste my entire day. Don't trust businesses that act like this.

A great place to stay, spacious comfortable rooms and very clean. Close to beach and the walking street with all the bars, but far enough to get a good night sleep. There is a Mall about half a block away with 7eleven, Big C supermarket etc. They also have the friendliest staff. I recommend it to everyone and would definitely stay here again.

It was a basic hostel, good for the price. The staff was friendly and it was clean. Perfect location to reach most of the important points in the city. -1 Star: We told her that we need to check out at 8 am (the time she normally opens) and in the morning nobody, but a notice to herself that we check out at 8, was there. So we left at 8:15 to get to the airport in time. 100 Baht deposit lost.

Hip Hostel is located on a small alley ,so near Central & Junceylon Department store.The hostel is so chic ,You can watch TV at common area at the lobby.The mixed dorm room is lovely & clean.Bathroom is inside with dorm room. Only downside is Wifi,it's weak at dorm room.
