Great beach with restaurants only metres away from the water. Sitting on the sand in front of the restaurants and being served is a must, some offering 50 bht beers.

Beautiful beach and quiet not crowded as the patong beach, it’s has some activities like horse riding, banana and Parachute. The beach beds are for 100 bat and the towel for 50 bat rent.

I recently visited this stunning beach with a wide and clean shore. The natural beauty was enhanced by the presence of coconut trees, creating a unique and tropical view. The beach provided proper sitting arrangements, allowing visitors to relax comfortably. However, the surrounding areas felt somewhat quiet and deserted, giving off a somewhat eerie vibe. Interestingly, the beach seemed to attract mostly European tourists, as I didn't spot any Asian visitors during my time there. Although there were some restaurants available, none of them were particularly famous or well-known. Despite this, the beach itself was a beautiful and memorable destination, perfect for those seeking a tranquil coastal retreat.

Nice beach, has multiple restaurants and food stalls, surfing teachers and some occasional airpod sellers walking around. The beach also has a massage place and several hotels are directly connected to it. But this is it, not much to do here other then walk and sweam. Also, the beach is very dirty and it seems no one is cleaning it :(

My fav beach in the area. Here you have everything next to the beach: massage, water sport, bars, smoothies, small shops and hotels. You don't even have to cross the road. The beach itself has this stunning view with lots of palm trees and transparent water without any rocks. Water is shallow quite far deep, safe for children. I have been to other beaches down the island. This one is just the one and only.

Kamala Beach is a safe area to swim and sunbath. Competition for recliner chairs can be high, but you will usually get a spot. I think the chairs were 100 baht. The sand is clean and soft. At high tide, parts of the beach will be submerged. If you walk along the beach you will encounter plenty of options for food and drinks. You'll also be able to book a board trip or use jet skis. The water was lovely, but you do need to keep an eye out for rouge waves which can be quite high. Most of the time the water is very calm and safe to swim in.

Kamala Beach is a beautiful sandy bay beach. About 1.5km long. You can walk the full length on or besides the beach. A lot of bars, beach bars, restaurants, massage shops, all along. Yet public access to the full length of the beach from many spots.

Water is green, not blue or turqoise. It's nice that it is full of bars and restaurants, but it's getting boring in the evening as there is nothing to do except eating and swimming. No fun. I was disappointed as how average the water was compared to how heavily the google images color graded. Next time, I will go to Kata beach or Karon. Those look much better.

Great relaxing beach. Perfect for family’s as the water is very calm. If you go to the far right, it’s a great spot to do some snorkelling. Close to plenty of restaurants and pubs. Small markets along the way if you want to do some shopping. Definitely try out one of the pancake stands, they are delicious !! Will definitely return to watch the sunset one night.

Warm water. Some surf. Markets very close. All the tourist stuff. But like the rest of swimming beaches on Phuket, drowning in plastic rubbish. Very nice locals. The whole area felt safe and free of crime. Walking alone at night I was more worried about standing on a snake than being mugged : ) Gripe session..... everything is delivered wrapped in plastic. The plastic gets dropped then washed into the sea. Time to change to paper.

Beautiful beach that is definitely worth visiting! It is very relaxed compared to patong and you can find plenty of great restaurants and bars along the beach! I recommend it, especially those of you looking for a calm place to relax for several hours. You can also rent chairs and umbrellas for 100 baht

Excellent beach for families with children and/or couples. It's not rowdy & noisy like Patong, but it's also not "dead quiet" like some obscure beaches in the middle of nowhere. During the day, there's a lot of activities like para-sailing, jet skiing, banana boat, etc. The beach is also clean and the waves are quite calm (safe for young children). During sunset is when this beach really comes alive. There are a ton of restaurants, drink vendors, fruit smoothie vendors, etc. You won't go hungry on this beach (although the prices are a little higher).

A beautiful beach, but full of rubbish. If the local beach front businesses would take some responsibility for cleaning their section of beach this would be an amazing resort. Well done SUNPRIME hotel. They are the only ones that look after their section of the beach.

Dirty beach, other than resort and start vendors, don't see anything excited. The pollution from canal to ocean really disturbed. Not like pa tong is why better but at least price is cheaper for most things and much more lively. Pros: Ocean More street vendors Cons: Pollution Street vendors cost more

It is a beach that has everything I really like, it is worth visiting, full of palm trees around it and it has charming restaurants where you can eat well. A very clean beach must be highlighted.

If you love eating, drinking and watching the sunset on the beachfront with a lot of people, there are some Restaurant & Bars on Kamala beach.

A three-kilometre long beach with spectacular views of the Andaman sea. If you're lucky, you may be able to catch a few waves.

Kamala Beach is a lesser crowded and idyllic place to swim, eat, massage and enjoy, beautiful sunset christen the beach in the late afternoons and the crisp mornings are flooded with a cool light, stop by here, enjoy the little walking town so close to the beach, meet friends and make friends, it's a good place to be, for visitors and residents...

Very quiet and relaxing beach, soft white sand and the ocean is very cooling and not too deep. Great for swimming for the entire family with restaurants nearby and coconut water and roti snack options! Saw some people riding horses too.

Kamala could do a better job of keeping their area cleaner. Not the nicest beach in Phuket. A lot of trash is left around to run down the local canalway to the sea.

Beautiful beach ⛱️ sand is soft, water is shallow, and warm, not crowded, quite clean. A lot of eateries alongside. Walking distance to phuket fantasea. Massage services are all around. Big market opens on Monday AND Friday. Few activities available. The only downside is that foods are not cheap surprisingly.

A stretch of about 4 kms of sand here at Kamala. Always less crowded than the likes of Patong, Kata or Karon. But still the same, nice beach and perfect plc for families. Has a small public car park too.

Beautiful beach with the line of trees on the side (in the morning you can find natural shadow) and a lot of nice small restaurants and bars.

I love this beach. It's so quiet and peaceful. Not so crowded like Patong. There are plenty of small restaurants on the beach and around. People are so friendly and smiley. The only but it's the rubbish. The south end is very sad. The locals don't seem to care about it. I only say foreigners and myself helping to clean.
