Once again we had a couple of fabulous days at the Bang Tao Beach Chalet, a charming, warm hearted and comfortable accommodation! The location could not be better as it is less than 2 minutes’ walk from the beach and despite being close to restaurants, one are not bothered with a lot of noise. Their welcoming caring atmosphere and good service makes us longing back. /Peter & Christina Lindvall

Sorry negative review first: 👎🏻$ price is too high compared to value. 👎🏻not enough staff to run hotel properly. 👎🏻only 2 chalets occupied, breakfast took 45 minutes to deliver. 👎🏻Aircon will not cool down chalet, had to ask for fan. 👎🏻need new sheets and towel too old. 👎🏻addressed all these issues with Management, without satisfaction. Positive: 👍🏻Location to Beach 🏖 👍🏻nice impression (see pictures) 👍🏻WiFi is OK.

Front desk was polite and the property was well manicured. The room was over all clean. Hoever, our sheets has tears in them and the shower was covered in mold. The shower heads sprayed water everywhere leaving the floor slippery. We requested a metered taxi thru the front desk which they agreed to arrange. Unfortunately, they ordered a fixed rate of 800bht which we had to pay directly to the hotel. This left us feeling scammed and frustrated.

Traditional Thai style Cottage. Location is on a quiter beach, Bangtao. Clean and not so many people on the beach, need to walk abit ard 50m fm hotel. Hotel itself has a nice and cozy pool, ambience very nice and relaxing. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, rooms are cleaned daily and they even helped washed some lunch boxes that we brought. We booked tour package to Phang Ngha fm hotel and was helped to get a very good price. Food in the restaurant is very very good taste. Halal food. Try the porridge for breakfast, superb! Car parking might be a bit problem (in front of hotel has space only for 2 cars), but can park on the street.

Great little place, very quiet and comfortable. Tucked away from noise in beautiful tropical gardens. Very close to the beach and good restaurants. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The beach is absolutely gorgeous. Long stretch of fine sand, and the sea was relatively calm even with a thunderstorm! Biggest positive for me was that it wasn't packed. Lots of space for the kids to run and play.

Beautiful hotel, the bungalow was amazing and so nice. Close to shops & beach. Bed was so comfortable, staff super friendly & it has a cute cat. Would definitely stay again!

Very nice and peacful, an oasis of peace in the craziness of bangtao beach. Great for indivifual travellers who don`t want mass tourism. Everything is close by. We stayed 3 nights and will come back. Perfect for a short stop in Phuket. Staff is very nice. However, if you are looking for a peaceful& relaxing holiday, dont go to bang tao or phuket for a longer holiday. It is spolied already, ugly mass tourists everywhere (mostly russian), drunks etc. The beach is full of jet skis, kites, banana boats etc. so it smells like on the road even in the water and it is loud and noisy. We then moved on tho phi phi and lanta where you can find more peaceful places with more individual travellers.

Really nice secluded beach. Better than Naithon as a beach. No parking so everyone parks on dangerous stretch of road (two lanes, gradient and hairpin turns) just above the beach. Trails down which might not be for those with physical difficulties.
