We visited Phuket from 17 Nov to 25 Nov. We went to P&C Jewelry to have 2 rings made. The manager/owner was very helpful and we agreed on a price for the 2 rings and a time to pick them up. A day before the pick up date I popped in to the shop and reminded the owner that i am picking it up the next day at 12 as agreed. We were flying out at 4 the next day. He said no we agreed for 2 pm. I reminded him it is 12 and he said no problem although he was a bit rude. The next day we arrived at 12-30 to pick up the rings and he and a very rude woman (his wife?) started shouting at us that only at 2 pm. I reminded him that my flight is at 4 so the time was 12. They both became aggressive and extremely rude saying we were just cheap tourists and that we should leave and come back at 2 pm. We got the rings at 2 pm and NO warranty or certificate was given for the rings which were made of gold and was expensive as we supplied the stones . The pleasure of the rings - which were made from stones we bought in Alaska - was taken from this experience because of their rude and disgusting manners. It was clear that they just wanted the money and do not care about customer service. The experience we have had with Thai people have always been fantastic and we find the majority pleasant and friendly. These people were the opposite and I will never trust them or recommend them to anyone. The sad part is that the workmanship was so bad (remember we could barely try it on as they were very late- maybe that was the reason to hide the defective workmanship) that after wearing the rings for 7 days the one stone came loose and we lost it. On our return to South Africa we had to have the rings checked and reset- costing extra money. DEFINITELY A JEWELER FROM HELL AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS. A DISSAPPOINTING FACT IS THEY HAVE A CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE FROM TRIP ADVISOR FOR 2015! WHAT WENT WRONG?? AVOID AT ALL COST

Me and my partner went into p&c looking for a promise ring. We have travelled from ireland. We had a budget in mind, but I fell in love with a ring on display that was double our budget. So Charlie said that he would make me the same ring with the same stone and use a smaller diamond and make the band thinner. The ring is beautifully made. I was so delighted with it. i highly recommend this man. Will definitely be back again

After reading reviews of this place we decided to make the drive two hour down from Khao Lak. I had some old broken bracelets and rings that I wanted to recycle. We also wanted to buy wedding rings for ourselves. Located just off the beach road with street parking.We were greeted by Charlie, the owner. Very nice man who spoke perfect English. I gave him my broken jewelry and a few gemstones I had and we designed two nice rings. We also ordered a nice diamond rind for my wife. He asked for a deposit and said it would be about a week. We went back a week later to collect our rings. They were just what we wanted. He even fixed one of the broken rings for free. The prices were a little high but the quality of workmanship is outstanding. We highly recommend P&C. I'll be going back to see him with another project in a few weeks.

Charlie calmly educated us on a few things we did not know and we relaxed and determined which design my wife liked the most. Then we chose 18 carat gold over 14 or 24, and three diamonds to be inset into the band. He suggested making the top wider fir show and the bottom a little narrower for comfort. Our search was over. Since we are here for two more weeks we agreed to pick up the newly made ring in a week. My deposit was made on my visa card and there was no extra charge for using my credit card. Charlie was very comfortable to deal with, from every way you could measure. Other shops had a surcharge for using your credit card. About a half hour before we almost purchased from another shop. To stay within our budget we were not going to get any small diamonds, just 18 carat gold, and would have spent 25% more. With Charlie we got more than we wanted, within our budget. This saved us a trip to Phuket Town to go ring shopping. Highly recommend.

My wife found a nice ring & when it was our turn she tried it on. Very nice & fitted perfectly. He gave us a sizable discount & the purchase was made. Very skilled & talented craftsperson.

This family is wonderful and they know their work. The father is humorous and the wife and daughter are both very helpful. The father made me a beautiful 14 K white gold 8g Sapphire and Diamond ring for my anniversary in just four days and the craftsmanship was phenomenal. The price was reasonable and the family is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this shop if you are in Patong Beach (it is quite a distance from Naka Island where I stayed but worth the trip) and want a valuable, reasonably priced, yet quality crafted piece of custom jewelry.

She is clearly unhelpful and rude and maybe best staying at the back of the shop as customer service is not her strength!

On recommendation by so many Aussies from the Facebook Phuket forum, we prepared ourselves with old gold etc and went to see Mr Chuchai to fix several items and to see what could be done about my wife's wedding ring that maybe it could be re-made. While we were in the store there was a couple that had been coming back to him for over 15 years for their jewellery. In a mere 60 seconds of meeting him, he described to my wife how he could remodel the ring and enhance it by adding a 3rd ring (she has 2 to the set) with more much diamonds, which blew us away! He really knows what he is talking about. This was no mean feat as her ring is very unique. Unbelievable pricing which could not possibly be done in Australia. You will not find any cheaper anywhere!
