Organized golf through Asia Web they picked us up at 8am for 9am tee off. It did start to get hot mid morning so i would suggest an earlier tee time, even in winter. Two adults was about 6500ba ($212)but you have to give your caddy a min of 300ba ($9.50 we gave them$400 ba)and they are compulsory 1 per player. They do everything for you even as far as marking your ball on the green, all you have to do is hit your ball. They will not let you play if you don't have golf shoes as I found out and that cost me another 600ba ($19)They also have lockers for the ladies, but not in the mens room. There are no golf buggies so you have to walk. The walk is easy especially when you don't pull a bag. To play 18 holes only took 3.45 hrs, which we thought was surprising. After the game they gave me a towel and I showered. The pro shop had a fantastic selection of loud mouth so my husband got a pair of shorts and pants. I wanted some to match but they only had to size 8. That would just cover my right thigh. We had a quick bite to eat, reasonably priced a club sandwich with chips and a Thai seafood entre size 240ba total. The course itself was immaculate, the only negative, the greens were so, so slow. Husband plays off 2 and gave it 7/10, he couldn't give it a higher rating because of the green speed. The best holes on the course was the par 5, 10th the hole is circular and I also liked the par 3, 17th an island green. Caddy info: She has been a caddy for past 7 years and doesn't like golf. But boy did she know distances and reading the green. Only women are caddies and there are 370 at this golf course. They work on a roster so they only get work every 2 days and usually caddy 2 games on one day. They get 300ba which we have to pay, it is on top of the green fees, and they are compulsory.

One of the cheaper courses on Phuket, fairways aren't immaculate, though greens and bunkers are beautifully manicured. Caddies are very knowledgeable of the layout too. Pro tip: take lots of balls.

Sometimes described as offering easy-going resort-style golf, the Old course at Phuket Country Club certainly packs a punch on several holes. The layout gets off to a fairly challenging start, with the front nine providing some of the most undulating and testing holes, especially as it moves towards and then traverses a wonderfully jungle-clad hill. Without doubt one of Phuket's most enjoyable and testing parkland gems, usually presented in excellent condition.

Beautiful course. Quite tricky at times and a knee shaking tenth tee over the big pond. You must be accurate off the tee especially in the front 9. Length isn't a huge benefit here. Rental clubs were good quality with lots to choose from as well. The caddie was fantastic and although it was a challenging day with plugged ball hunting she was very patient.

From what I’ve heard this is one of the oldest courses in Phuket. It is a great course nonetheless and very very challenging. Bring your straight game because the fairways on most holes are very unforgiving should you stray 20-30 yards either side. The fairways are predominantly monkey grass and there is very very little run on and they are mud based. You will find a lot of plugged drives if you are a high driver so try and keep the ball low- mid height. The greens are very tough to play. Coming from the sandbelt of Melbourne I found these greens very hard to read. It will take some getting used to. I’d highly recommend taking 30-45 minutes on the practice green beforehand to get adjusted. The caddy’s are great but maybe take a rangefinder if you want exact, but the good ones are very very good. Finally the facilities, definitely take a full change of clothes and shower stuff because the locker rooms are elite. Full showers and towel service and there is even a swimming pool to relax in if desired. Overall an awesome course. I take away 1 star for the poor attitude and service from the restaurant staff, they just stand around and talk to themselves and are not very attentive, there is no good customer service from them. I will definitely be back next year for a few more rounds.

Little pricey for the course. Did have promotion 2800 includes green, cart and caddie fees (tip separate).1200 get you a nice set of rentals 790 and stealth driver). Very friendly staff, and local caddie was very knowledgeable. Has a nice clubhouse and restaurant. The course itself is ok, condition and challenging wise. Probably walkable if you play early enough. This was probably the closest to the hotel on Paton beach, so will play here again.

Average golf course . They serve decent food.

Played 4 rounds during our Christmas holiday. Good golf course with the best caddies in Phuket. Slow but fairly smooth greens. Easy to walk for us that preferres that, but now they also rent out buggies. Hole nr 10, a very short par 5, where you can reach the green in one! shot, but still not easy! Good food, clean and fresch restrooms. Will definately play again.

We played today and it was marvellous. Great views, course in excellent condition and some very difficult challenging holes. The caddies were helpful, but walking was fine without a cart. The food at the club restaurant was really good and great value.

Course was cheap, but not in very good condition. Fairway was covered in weeds and greens were all different speeds. Caddies were not to helpful. However, this is the most affordable place to play on the island.

Good club house and changing room. The course fairway and green are bad. Amazing slow green. How can they charge so much. Laguna is much better and cheaper.
