Ok this comes from a single guy traveling alone.. this place is very beautiful and has a wonderful atmosphere. It is very over priced in my opinion considering you pay for just a single show and meal. The food is good but for a buffet it's nothing very exciting. The dining area is a massive cafeteria with lots of variety but I have a gluten allergy so my choices were limited. The shops were like Disney world and focused on children or fancy ornaments. The show was nice, but I think the kids might enjoy more than the adults... I didn't like that everyone who handled an elephant carried a sharp poking stick to handle the elephants. They also take your phone's when you enter, so expect to just be hanging out if you go in early.. seats are assigned so no reason to rush in. Overall is was a fine experience and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe but nothing to do but shop for souvenirs, eat, and see the show... Personally I felt it was over priced greatly

Must watch when you are in Phuket. It was ethereal. It felt like we were in another Disneyland kinda thing. It was surreal. The show was also grand. It will make you remember the circus and expo from the childhood days. Food was also arranged there. But we were not happy with the food. But overall, we were overwhelmed. I would definitely recommend it.

This is the 2nd time I went there, but I still enjoyed the show to the fullest, Unfortunately no photos can be taken inside the show. The atmosphere is superb & kids specially loves the elephant ride & other small playing activities

The food at this place was good. Indian good is also available here. The whole dining experience before the show was fabulous! The Fantasea show was also good. Kids would love it. The place has many shops, floating market, magical shops, toy shops, etc. We had a great experience there! Must visit place with kids. Lovely place!

Nice place to visit for entertainment. The entrance fee includes dinner. Dinner was very good especially because the hall was divided into 2 parts. One for Muslims and the other is for non-muslims. Locker is easy access. Plenty of toilets. Very little trash bins.

Sat here now deeply regretting our lives, it’s like visiting one of the countries in Epcot without any of the fun! Arrived at 5.30pm thinking we’d have enough to do until the show, there’s absolutely nothing to do other than several expensive carnival game stalls and dozens of tacky souvenir shops, they even appear to offer elephant rides although no elephants on show yet thankfully! It seems there’s still far too many people ignorant enough to want to ride these beautiful animals. There’s lots of people wandering about with vacant and confused looks on their faces! After being informed that your mobile phones are taken from you for the show duration we decided to leave! Also be aware, this is a different park to Carnival Magic but both share the same parking (and same owners) and charge independently, it’s not very clear at all

I went there only to take pictures from outside. Have read the reviews from many people saying the entrance fees is quite high, they don't allow you to bring inside your cameras and the animal (elephants) show is more likely to animal abuse. I love animals but when it comes with torturing the beautiful creature, its a big NO for me

The show is outdated. Story, acting, decorations & technology is very old. The story is repeatable in many culture. The show is even not for enjoyable for children. Dinner has nice variety. The theme of the park is nice but it need improvement like cafes, cakes, candy & other international cuisine.

Sucha great experience. Buffet was super legit. Drinks are extra. Food included if you buy it with your ticket. Very cool scenery and buildings inside. And the show... wow. Probably the best thing I have seen in terms of a live show. Raw in a beautiful and authentic way. So many fun scenes. Highly recommend. Family friendly.

Phuket FantaSea, is a Drama show + Buffet experience that disappoints. The Buffet @ Kinara Restaurant The buffet of over 100 items* served here, tastes very average and a lot of the local food variety is skipped. There is a muslim food area for halal meat and a lot of dessert options. The Theatre Show The 2000 seat show includes a mix of Thai history, magic, trapeze artist displays, animal performances, shadow art, and dance. All themes that have no story weaving them together. The story explained is poorly crafted and the sequence of things are so very random. However, the artists put in a lof of effort which makes it a good watch, sadly does mot resonate as well with the international audience. The elephants in the play also seem to be poorly treated in here. I would recommend this for kids, maybe. Otherwise better to skip. Tickets go for 2200+ Bhat

After pandemic, huge crowd and not much notices explaining the process of going in. Reason was we had paid online. Our tickets were preprinted so as to make it easier for us to go in but when we asked the staff at entrance, we were just told to join the queue of 4 rows of about 150 to 200 people in a long twisting ticketing queue. All notices just showed ticket prices. I seriously think management should have separate lanes for those who already paid just need to redeem the actual physical tickets and those who walk in. Buffet food is normal hotel food but quite tasty and well cooked. Variety not a lot. Segregated into Chinese-Thai, Indian, Western (only pasta! ) and Muslim. No Korean or Japanese food. Show is quite amazing with trapeze acts, magic show, culture show, and the best part, elephants (of course), buffaloes, even goats, chickens, and birds going on stage from one side and exiting the other side by themselves! Truly amazing! & one Tiger emerging from a magic box and exiting from the stage to back stage! Staff were very friendly, welcoming and thanking (on way out).

An amazing place, a lot of creative work all around. Spectacular visuals. And the show stopper the Theatrical 🐘 Elephant show(4D Experience) it self what an amazing show put to gather by 100+ artist I belive. Woow. A must visit place especially with kids.

The 5 stars are mostly for the show, just wow! I came in 2 groups of families with young children under 4 years old and they enjoyed the place, especially the show. Do note they are quite strict with not letting any recording devices into the show so you won’t have any phones or cameras throughout. Tickets included buffet dining before the show and food was pretty good too as there’s a wide selection to choose from. For a place that’s been running for decades, the place is pretty well-maintained and toilets were clean despite the old-school decor. Recommend!

Utterly expensive at THB 1800/person (+350 for a gold seat, and +400/dinner). The one hour show and the food (at least the vegetarian) is complete disappointment. If you don’t go there, you wouldn’t miss a thing. And remember, after dinner, you will be made to stand in a queue for about 30-35 mins to reach a hall to watch this show 1 hr show. In between you shall deposit your camera, mobile and other recording devices as well. After the show, another queue to collect your devices.

Must watch when you are in phuket. The show was grand and is unique in its own way. They do not allow photo/video of the show and collect the mobiles/camera before entering the theater. The show starts at 9 pm. Just when you enter the theater, you get the option to click pics with baby tiger. It will make you remember the circus and expo from the childhood days. Dinner was also arranged there and available from 5:30pm to 9pm. I would definitely recommend it.

It's not something must visit kind of a place. I suggest to go only if u have an extra free day. U pay and go inside to find out it's only a place to do more shopping and nothing else. The show was good and but the story was explained in Thai, which we couldn't understand. Can skip it unless u have a spare day

Phuket Fantasea is a venue for performances in a theater called Wang Iyara in Las Vegas style. It can hold 3,000 audience seats. Inside is decorated in the style of Thai culture. to represent the uniqueness of Thailand. The show performed in the Iyara Palace is blended with legends. and Thai culture and high technology with amazing techniques There are both world-famous celebrities. famous person Thai tourists and foreigners visit They all bring unforgettable impressions. Inside, there is also a restaurant, a buffet, a variety of food in the evening. The food tastes good, reasonable for the price.

Medium sized theme park with games and shops. But the major attractions are the buffet and the show in the palace of the elephants. Firstly, food spread in the buffet is decent with 3-4 different cuisines. Dining area needs a special mention, it is HUGE. Not sure what is the total capacity of this place but this should be one of the largest in the world. The real deal is the show in the palace of the elephants. You have to leave your phone/camera at the locker facility and proceed to this huge auditorium. This is a 70 minute show which will leave you spellbound. Every single thing in the show is planned and performed with perfection - be it the performers, animals, effects, the stage. Such an experience just being there at the auditorium. MUST VISIT in Phuket!

Amazing performance! Much to choose from at the buffet! The territory is beautiful! The kids and adults would love it! It’s the history of Siam in bright, vivid colors, decorations and with a lot of animals involved!😆🧚🏼‍♀️🧡

For my personal opinion it is an overhyped show. I did not like it all. Some of my observations are: - Ticked cost is around 1800 THB (without dinner) that is quite expensive - Total duration is just 1 hour - You have to wait in long queue around 30-40 minutes before reaching to hall to watch the show - There are many places where you can click photos. I do not recommend this show at all.

Visited on 23rd April 2022, almost all the festival village was closed, with the handful of games open charging and extra 80-120 baht to play fixed games to win a stuffed toy you could pick up at any market for 50 baht. The buffet food was well below average and all drinks were extra. I'm sure the show may entertain some but i was completely underwhelmed and the animals were completely unnecessary and frankly, it was just a bit sad to see. I imagine covid has been tough on the park and performers so they need the patrons, but really need to turn it into a human only show and improve the acts. I found the whole experience poor and wouldn't recommend.

It's a nice attraction, they have great show with the elefents. But the only thing that been not good is before you enter the show or theater you need to handover your phones or cameras to them which is along que before and after the show so they make sure no body will record the show. But the show was amazing. Really recommended 👌

Amazing, and a must see show put up by the team. Loads of surprises as we peel our eyes on the stage and surrounding of the auditorium. Came in late due to traffic in Patong Beach. Please plan ahead and come early so as not to miss the live street performance. Of course, one can also take your time to enjoy the buffet dinner if you need not rush for 9 pm show.

The buildings, entrance, decorations, seating is magnificent. The show it self is average, with a hard to follow story line (assuming there was one) seeing the preforming Elephants was a bit sad (not an a expert but they looked a little under weight).

The 3 star is due to the over rated and hyped buffet. The best choice is to buy tickets only for the event that starts at 9pm and have dinner outside. Also, there is no major difference in gold seating and regular barring the angle of view. Many walked in post the start of show and ushers were letting them in which was frustrating as the seat rows are very narrow and we have to step out to accommodate others in. The show is a virtual treat. Also while the directive says you cannot carry camera, mobiles….there is no check and hence as long as you don’t use it, you are fine and will save time while on exit. Well organized place for queue management. This is off patong and will cost abt 400baht by taxi. All the shops are expensive. Coming to the food, while the spread is expansive, Taste is nothing to write home abt. Desserts were terrible

I had heard a lot of hype about this show and was very enthusiastic to attend it. It was a good show but I wouldn’t say that it was an out of this world experience. However, the buffet before the show was really good. And yes there is a separate section for Halal buffet for muslims and anyone who would like to eat Halal food. The main theatre was amazing. The grandeur was something to witness. If you are looking for a one off experience in Phuket, you should attend this show.

Unfortunately, I was expecting another experience. Didn’t like it that much. It was purely for children. Will definitely not recommend it for anyone. We had the dinner and show. The dinner was absolutely not worth it. We wasted 5 hours of our time in Phuket on this show. The show lasted for an hour but the shuttle bus took us 4 hours before the show, which is a total waste of time. Not recommend at all. Don’t waste your time and money!!!

We went as adults and it was nice. You pay for a show and a Buffet. The Buffet included vegetarian options. We also could have tea or coffee for free. You can purchase alcoholic drinks. We had to wait a while to get into the show. We purchased tickets when we arrived, but did not take too long. Note, you will have your phone taken from you, so you don’t need to go in very early. You have assigned seats anyway. The show had some interesting animals running from one side of the stage to the other. They also had a funny magic act. The trapeze artists were also nice. My favorite was a traditional dance through bamboo sticks like jump ropes. However, there was not an incredible amount of cheering throughout the show. For a reason. It was nice :-)

Went to the show without the buffet. The stage and changing the background was impressive. The animals were well trained however the show it self was not well executed.

Didn't understood why so much hype about this. Just the okayish show. Sets are fabulous though. But people go there to look at the show which after sometimes gets quiet boring. You can't record the show as the mobile and cameras gets deposited.

Fantasea is a fantastic experience. The 1 hr show is really good and entertaining with excellent performances not only by humans but also elephants , tigers, chickens , goats and buffalo too! The lights, sounds , stage settings , crowd management everything is great. Depositing and recovering the mobile phones is a little hassle. We opted for gold seats along with pick up and drop from our hotel. The buffet dinner was good too. All in all recommended

Was a really great theme park with beautiful sets and stages. The show was astonishing with glimpses of the Thai culture and stages and their grandness was amazing to see it also has an ally for small children and shops for unique and antiques of Thailand memories in this shops. For small children also their is a vast area to different play games stall. It’s dinner area was really huge with really good taste of food with all kind of cusines available. The theatre that gives an amazing glimpses of their culture was really grand with amazing performances with gaints walking with them. Plus the park was perfect for having some really amazing pictures. Overall it was a vast area of park with good family evening to enjoy their. Don’t get it wrong with its name as it don’t consist of any rides as of amusement park do have. It’s just for fun ,show, shopping and dinner.

Good show and overall setup. Great for Taking great photos with friends and family. You will get disappointed in case u want good Indian food specially vegetarian. There r some good showstopper instances in the show. However one may skip going here in case of time and cost constraints in Phuket. Ticket is 1200 THB with food.

Absolutely recommend this. Buffet was really good with a lot of varieties, including Indian and international cuisines. Vegetarian options were there. Show is a must see, it was really nice, it had a lot of things to watch. I really loved the show. Show was full of action and fun. I would surely recommend this. Please make sure to purchase gold seats for best experience. I bought the tickets from Thrillophilia which included Transfer+Buffet+Gold seats. The experience was hassle free.

We went from what was billed the best cabaret show in South Asia to the best cultural show...while the former proved to be a damp squib not quite living up to the sparkle it promised, the latter sure had our jaws dropping in some acts...the dramatic entrance of the elephants through the rows of seats was something to behold..and the intelligence displayed by the animals was simultaneously astounding and disturbing...how do you get chickens, doves and goats to act on cue...not forgetting the tiger with its daring act, bolting across the stage, having you terrified with your heart in your mouth! While I was amazed at the feats of the elephants I was also empathetic to the unnaturalness and was certain that our own African elephants would be most affronted by this submissiveness...I shuddered to think what went into such training, and felt somewhat guilty that I was watching this...hypocrite fitted well with how I was feeling at that moment, and which lingered on long after the show! The acrobats whirling across the theatre was a welcome distraction, likewise the magician's amazing tricks. And oh, the dazzling costumes are just epic...they would win best costume design anytime and everytime...not forgetting the stage setting with a curtain of water, simulating rain, falling heavily down! On entry you have to hand in your phone...so no pictures of the actual show...and much speculation around this...can it really only be to protect the artistic work? The overall show, while entertaining, left us in deep debate about the ethics of animal training; how tourists drive such demand...and how complicit we are...

  • 5/5 Hannes F. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely awesome experience! Don't let the negativity fool you. The minimal animal usage is mesmerising and the animals look very well looked after. The rest of the show and story is something to behold. The buffet has a nice variety and the food is good value.

A must sea in phuket, a perfect cultural and traditional show, well choreographed, decent show, let you walk through time. The elephants are extremely trained and a small circus is also choreographed in the show itself where the animals are treated with love. Loved it. Don't miss it

  • 5/5 Amanda W. 10 months ago on Google
Definitely a must do for first time visitors. It’s mainly a cultural show I do recommend buying the gold seat tickets. The park opens from 5.30pm and the show starts at 9pm. 1 hour to explore the park was more than enough time for us. You can feed the elephants but we arrive late after dinner. When it’s Showtime and upon entry to the theatre they will require all phones and recording devices to be cloaked/deposited. Feel a bit said when the elephants standing up with their back leg in the show. It must be hurting a lot. Apart from that, enjoy the show!

  • 2/5 archit s. 8 months ago on Google
The whole theme park is just mix of various shops for clothes and accessories. The only attraction for kids is the playing zone which is paid excluding the ticket you pay and for adults is the theatre show which is the main highlight of the whole park and that’s totally worth the one hour you spend inside there but the rest four hours gets quite boring and you just end up spending your most time during feasting at the grand buffet which isn’t at power to looking at the amount you spend . So my experience is little on the lower side but if you go don’t forget to feed the elephants.

  • 2/5 Sharree S. 8 months ago on Google
Not my favorite. It's like they tried to make their own mini Disneyland experience. The theme song plays repeatedly throughout the part (annoying and gets stuck in your head) and the show wasn't very entertaining to me, personally. I had a hard time watching them ride the elephants which were clearly very trained, not sure how humane the training must have been. No cameras or phones allowed in the show. This was the worst part because you have to check them before entering and the tracking system is not advanced. After the show is chaos where everyone is plowing into each other to get ahead. One group pushed their way through nearly suffocating my baby in arms without any regard to the well-being of others around them. It's not organized, just sheer primeval behavior from many people, all while you're hoping they didn't lose your expensive devices. Prices in the shops and arcade area are high even for USA.

Booked the ticket from klook after checking so many reviews from people around the world and Mainly it attract kids but From entry to exit everything was very smooth. Pros: 1. Food was good, So many varieties from starter to sweet everything was good 2. They kept mobile but it is safe and very convenient to get back from exit gate. 3. Outside theatre smoking is allowed. 4. Apart from buffet, there is cafe and ice cream parlour and also from buffet place also you can order any thing by paying extra. Cons: As far I know price is on higher side. Tips:- Go for regular package as I did not see much difference there.

Must visit this place. Beautiful authentic Thai tradition dance and shows. It's good for children or family too. Price reasonable for shows, if you like to play games, they charge 1 game = 100bath or 10 games for 800bath. We buy our tickets through our taxi driver with a good bargain compared to buying straight on the spot. I don't think the show is open everyday, so make sure to check before you come.

Just to be candid here, this is the iconic place that every tourist should go if this is your first time to Phuket. But if you’ve been there once, you may not want to revisit it since nothing much will interest you except the stage show. The facilities are bit lack of maintenance and numbers of game stalls are closed after the pandemic. No new show or games been added from my last visit 10 years ago. If you purchase the ticket online or through your local travel agency usually gives you a better price than walk-in.

We did not know what to expect. Our package included a pick up, dinner, a gold ticket a show and a drop off, that was the given. When we got there you did not know what to look at first. It was wow, and nearly overwhelming. Here are just a few tips when you go to this show that I would suggest. Try to arrive when the gates open. Take pictures from when you areive while moving to the ticket office, when the show comes out there are too many people and everyone rushes to get their taxi. Then you could move to the entrance while still taking pictures. You had to make a choice dinner first and then walk around or vice versa. We choose the first option. Like I said take pictures as you proceed. With the gold ticket we ate at a gold place. It was massive. They were very well organised. We took pictures inside. The buffet was nice. There were many people but not once did you feel crowded. They were well organised. After our dinner we walked around and took pictures They have glamorous stalls where they sell different things, soft toys, glasses, clothes just to name a few. Unfortunately , it is a little bit pricey but nice to look at. We moved towards the 🏢 where the show is you move in lines towards the entry. As you enter there are a red and green zone. Obviously, most of the people went through the red zone. You need to hand in your phone and camera, you are not allowed to enter with it. But it is secure. As you walk in, there are photo opportunities 😀 but now you need to look and take in. For us that love to take pics it felt strange. There is also an opportunity to take a picture with a tiger for 750Baht, we made use of that opportunity. You need to show your ticket and can pay with your credit card as well. Just before you go into the main doors you can buy water. We did not but I would suggest you do if it is hot. Look at your ticket and you will see the number of the door entrance you need to use. Make sure you go in at the right door. You present your ticket and they will tell you left side or right side. If it's clear you can go straight to your seat otherwise they will take you to your seat. It can take a while for all the people to take their seats. The show itself was very good. Colourful, expect the unexpected and look everywhere. The decor is amazing. The lights and the use of all the different colours make a big impression. People coming from the roof, from the back and from the sides. There is no time for sleeping. We enjoyed this show. On your way out I would suggest if you early first going to fetch your cellphones. If it is already long queues I would rather go and fetch the photos before you go to the cell phone side. When you are going to fetch your cellphones look at the colour of the tag you received. You need to stand in that specific line. Also important if you got picked up remember your driver's name and number plate of the vehicle.

👍 This is a very nice spot to photograph local areas. There are plenty of local restaurants around here after the bridge. There are typical Thai restaurants along the river and I highly recommend you eat here. The average price per dinner is about 120 Bahts.
