This museum showcase the history of Thailand (and the old Siam) beautifully. Pleasant and informative. Staff were very helpfull and friendly.

The museum offers excellent displays on geography, prehistoric peoples, early trading routes, and development of modern-day Phuket. Nearly all exhibits have English labels. Most impressive is a 3.5-meter-tall statue of Vishnu (Narayana) from the 9th century. Location is just off Highway 402 between Phuket Town and the airport, about 13 kilometers north of Phuket Town.

Nice museum to visit while in Phuket. It mostly explains the history of Phuket and the immigrants, as well as the diversity of the population and religions. The staff of the museum is very nice.
