Great place to meet foreigners... staff is friendly but the cost of a beer is ridiculously high... just get a bucket and play some beerpong

The staff are super friendly as are the bartenders and management! There is always a good turn out thanks to promoters like Derek and the rest. I've met people from Norway, Canada, the USA, Sweden and the list goes on and on. Drinks are fairly priced. You can go inside and play "beer pong" they have a bunch of tables or dance around. The outside seating is my favorite as that's where I meet the most people from different countries. I always meet foreigners here like myself and have nothing to complain about. Check it out!

GREAT bar and so much fun. When you’re solo travelling, it’s the place to be. A bit distanced from the Patong road craziness, it feels safer. Mostly travellers as well, it’s incredibly rare to see any locals there. There’s always beer pong going on, the music is fun, highly recommend! As a solo travelling woman, I felt safe there, and made loads of friends. However there WILL be a few weirdos probably sitting down just watching the girls, gotta ignore them

The bar lady stole money from me and tried to have me kicked out. She clearly thought I was drunk, as I arrived late to meet a group of friends. Unfortunately for her, it was my first drink of the night. I paid with a 500 baht note and she gave me change for 100. Then she went to hide in the office when I questioned her, and she had the bar staff ask me to leave. That woman is a THIEF. Who knows how much money she's stolen from customers. Be on your guard. Count your change.

Definitely the best bar in Patong💃🏼 It’s on of the side roads to the main street Bangla. Beer pong tables, pool table and the music is the best!! Would definitely recommend everyone to go there if you wanna meet new people and have a great night. The staff is so friendly, cheap prices and nice music. 10/10⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was staying in the Bearpacker hostel with a few friends for a week and decided to check out the Backpacker Bar and had some of the best nights out there. The employees are really lovely, especially the gorgeous Ellie who made my nights so amazing!! I came back almost every evening as with her it’s a guaranteed great night! I’d highly recommend checking the bar out and I can’t wait to go back.

Best bar in patong for young people 100%. The environment is so welcoming and i met so many people there every night and made some great friendships. The staff are amazing especially Andy who you could just have a laugh with every night!! If you want to meet tons of people from different places this is the place to go and i look forward to being back at the bar next year !

I have never stepped foot into a more disgusting bathroom in my life. Everything was covered in mould and you could barely breathe inside. I wouldn’t wish for my worst enemy to have to take a dump in there. I would’ve rather had dengue for a day.

Great atmosphere went here on 2 occasions during my 10 day trip to Phuket and wow the buckets on special at 2 for 500bhat are dangerous. Adam one of the staff members advised on the strongest bucket being pineapple express and wow was i finished especially after a game of beer pong.

You HAVE to go here. End of story. Walk down that alley to this hidden gem and party til ya drop! 😎 Every country you can think of was present!! 10/10!

Hidden gem. Good spot to go if you're tired of the Classic Filthy Bangla street. Good atmosphere, nobody's pressuring you to buy beers, easy to meet people, had my fair share of fun there. The alcohol is a bit expensive compared to the rest of Bangla but they serve you legit beer and liquor.
