Expensive and small portions of tasty breads and baguettes. Due to stinginess with dough the baguette width and height is awkward and they seem to have issues with baking time as some breads are undercooked and some are overcooked with a very thick crust (they are constantly advertising jobs on the front door - among them for a baker - seem to have trouble retaining employees). Bread has so many voids and gaps that it's difficult to get a mouthfeal of the texture in one slice. Croissants and french pastries are just average and in my opinion not worth the premium - you get better just about anywhere for much less. Glad this place exists but feel the prices for bread are excessive, portions are too small, and the shape and consistency of the baguettes is disappointing. In the end, it's the loud, obnoxious noise of being ripped off that makes me avoid this bakery. Gotta love businesses where they charge western EU prices with PL expenses.

I shouldn’t say it because more people will come over and the bakery will sell out everything and nothing will be left for me but Lokal is making the best bread, top quality and taste, not worse than in major European cities. Sweet stuff is also wonderful. Highly recommended!

Great place. They use good quality ingredients and price stuff fairly. Lovely pastry and breakfast items but also pies and basic deserts for lunch. Im addicted :)

We come here every time we visit Katowice, and we're never disappointed. Amazing food (the sourdough especially), great coffee and the perfect vibe whether you're there to work, chill out on your own or relax with friends. Highly recommended!

Great variety of amazing breads. The "Śniadanie francuski" got smaller - it was a basket of bread sided with 5 or 6 jams before, now it is lot less - but the quality is still high.

Good coffee, tasty slice of hot bread with egg (they are backing bread themselves), a bit poor menu - for me too little hot dish with eggs. Generally nice place.
