Beautiful place to walk around near #kaunas castle. Beautiful seenaries. Can be crowded and you are lucky if you have the chance to walk around with less people. Lot of attractions nearby. Good place to relax or may be exercising in open gym. Fun activities for kids.

Was a quick visit, there was some traditional cultural festival going on with a farmer's market. The museum with 2.5 euro entry ticket, was nice with some costume to try and pose to take pictures. You get to see very nice view of the river and the surrounding park. The castle was mostly destroyed and is reconstructed with new red bricks. There is a jail in the basement and description about the tiles found during excavation on first floor. Enjoyable visit in general.

The confluence itself is pretty underwhelming. The park is cool though, dog friendly with all the additional bits you could need. There's a decent skate park, and kids play area and adult exercise equipment, plus plenty of space for running and a big open field for various sports. I imagine it gets busy in summer, but in November it was pretty much deserted

Very nice place and one of the best places to visit in Kaunas. It has a very good playground, a large stadium. Very nice to drive through with a bike or run. Also the Castle has a cool exhibition, statue and view from top!

Santakos parkas, Kaunas. No matter what you believe in or who you worship, the confluence of two Lithuania's biggest rivers, Nemunas and Neris, is a place to restore your energy levels. It's also sometimes called the birthplace of Kaunas.

One of the most picturesque views) This park is good for relaxation, walking, jogging. It has a broad space and sanitized area. Kaunas castle is here as another popular attractions for shooting photos. I recommend to visit the park in the early morning or at dusk. You can feel the special atmosphere.

You have the castle and the surrounding grounds, several different monuments scattered around, a big training and exercising area amongst the things. You also have a great view of the rivers and the surrounding areas in the distance. It's also not an extremely big park, so you can quickly visit it along with the old town.

What a lovely place. Filled with families and couples wandering about on walks. Has a very safe feel to it. Some great looking swingparks and cant wait to bring my kids! Its lit at night and serviced by remote control mowers which was cool.

An absolutely delightful place to go and see, in the winter you can see all the kids with their parents playing with slides in the snow, the building is lovely and very interesting and the view will not dissapoint. From there you will also be able to see the river and enjoy a great walk no matter the time if the year. There a lots of restaurants and coffe places near too. And you can walk to the old town from there having a great eventful day. Gorgeous place worth visiting.

This is an experience of parts adjacent to the old city, where the carefully restored medieval castle can be found. This is partly surrounded by a deep grassed area, one time a water filled defence for the castle, now an area of relaxation and arena for occasional events. Away from this is a large grassed park alongside the fork of two great rivers, the whole making a pleasant and relaxing walk. If the walk we're to start by the castle then it could lead to the town hall square in the old city.

Nowadays its very family friendly and well renovated park. In good weather You can see start of air balloons there, usually evenings, also visit playground, taje a walk by the Neman or Neris, and even visit castle dungeon which has tales of old ghost in chains that sometimes mourns…

It is just behind the castle and has a lot of things to see. Also there are a lot of sport activities available. For sue it worth a visit.

Absolutely stunning! It has a great view outside and many amazing expositions. You're even able to try out outfits that are made to look like medieval lord's apparel. The entrance price is very good, definitely not expensive. It's a must visit place if you're in Kaunas.
