Really great museum!! Only 300 yen but really well presented space with videos, lots of photo ops, and really nice layout of the floats and history. Also, the staff were soo friendly - one saw me looking at a photo op section and ran down with a list of English phrases to ask me if I wanted him to take my picture! Another one explained the floats and history all in pretty good English which was a first for me in Japan. The only improvement I would say is they could put English subtitles in the videos but all in all very worth it

(Translated by Google) I personally think that it is the most attractive place in Kawagoe. At first I entered without expecting at all, but I was surprised at the fulfillment of the contents of the exhibition inside. The float exhibition is powerful and exhibits about festivals in various areas. First of all, what is the festival? It is amazing that many beginners have easy-to-understand content. The posters of the past festivals were displayed, and the video screening of commentary of the state of the festival was very well done. After that, there was a machine to listen to the difference in dumplings. What impressed me was the free and belly-ready shooting in the hall. The passion of those involved in the launch of this facility is transmitted in various parts. People in the Tourism Division of each local government think that it is a place worth studying as a tour. Entrance fee 300 yen, JAF card presentation 240 yen. If this is this content, I am very satisfied. There were not many viewers, but I would like young and old men and women, especially young ones, to see. It's also good to buy some sweets, but it's worth noting not to look here. I was so moved that on my way back I hit the heights of my mind to those who wore an old law coat like the staff of the facility.

An amazing collection of items from past and present Kawagoe Festivals, including films and an oral presentation by one of the staff. The museum is easily navigated, and wheelchair accessible. A must-see for festival fans!!!

To be honest, it's less impressive than some other festival museums we've been to... Inuyama and Karatsu displayed more floats. But if you're here on a Sunday or a holiday, you get to watch a live hayashi performance (roughly 30 minutes long, starting at 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM), which is definitely worth sticking around for.

Really fascinating and charming museum! Unfortunately I missed the festival itself but learning about it in the museum was great, especially for the price of only 300 yen. The staff were exceptional and incredibly friendly, and they did their utmost to ensure I understood each of the exhibits and the history behind them. During the presentation in Japanese, one of the guides very kindly explained everything to me in English and took photos of me with the floats! It's definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.

It may be difficult to understand because the parking lot faces different streets, but since there are not many parking lots, I think that it is more certain that you parked elsewhere and walked. (Translated by Google) When sightseeing in Kawagoe, I saw the festival hall, and if you like the festival hall, you can't help but pay 300 yen to enter. There are almost no customers in the hall, and it is in a chartered state, so I wonder if I am lucky to have the staff explain the details of the floats. The floats on display are not replicas but real ones. What was interesting was the unfinished mountain car. Apparently, a festival-loving grandfather made it at his own expense, but he seems to have died. It seems that it costs 30 million yen even in the middle of creation, but it seems that it will cost 90 million more to complete. Well, I thought that the remaining family would not be completed by hitting 90 million. However, it's okay to bring 30 million unfinished floats, and you donate. By the way, it seems that this year is the 100th anniversary of Kawagoe Municipal Administration, so I want to hold a festival anyway. It has become a really difficult world for such a lively three-cs festival. However, the 100th anniversary is only 2022, so it's not a good idea to do it at the Kawagoe Festival. If Kawagoe does it, other festivals should follow. In that way, I hope that the Kawagoe Festival will have a cycle of returning to the daily life before Corona. Illness is widespread, but it is humans, not viruses, who decide to refrain from doing so, so I think it's no good if you misunderstand it.
