Good station, but the Yokosuka line and the other is far apart. Be careful during transfers. It’s about a 7 min walk. There is a lot of shopping places around the station and good to hang out. It’s one of the most popular place to live in Japan right now, due to the rapid development going on. The house prices are quite high compared to others.

It is a very long walk from the JR Yokosuka Line Musashi-Kosugi Station to Tōkyū Musashi-Kosugi Station. For me, it felt like I was walking about a kilometer. So I’m just saying, it is a big station. Plus, you can see the Shinkansen from the JR Yokosuka Line platform. Great for transferring to multiple train lines like Tōkyū Toyoko Line, Tōkyū Meguro Line, JR Nambu Line, JR Yokosuka Line, Super View Odoriko, and Narita Express.

Many places to shop! Loved the Tendon shop by the road side. Everyone should go to the Grandtree Musashi Kosugi. It's a very big and beautiful place for family to walk around and do some shopping spree.

Extremely clean and looked kinda new station. The view is also great too nice big sky and some tall buildings around that. It's not that hard to find your trains on this station the station makes it easy for you. 😊

Very contemporary station. Lots of small shops are there. If you want to go to Yokohama or Tokyo this could be a transit station

Very convenience station. You can go Shibuya, Yokohama, Shinagawa, Kawasaki and also west of Kanagawa and Tokyo. All of express, Limited express Train are stop at this station. Go to Narita airport is very convenience by Narita Express. Haneda Airport by Keikyu bus. Around station has some mall, Grand Tree is biggest mall near the station. But a house rent fee near this station is little bit higher than the others

the JR ticket machine ate my JR Rail Pass! It was the last day of use but since it was like 8pm I still should have been able to use it for a few more hours. I don't know if the machine is supposed to take it even after it expires but it hadn't yet... The station attendant just said to wait here. there were many other people already waiting with other various problems.. the attendant wasn't doing anything, just looking into the window of the office. I don't know if anyone was even in there or what but he was very half hearted if he was even trying to get someone's attention.. didn't seem like he would. well it was late and i wanted to go to my hotel, and i wasn't planning on using my pass any more that night, and again, I couldn't use it tomorrow (i could have used it that night though), so I just left because there were so many people waiting and the attendant wasn't doing anything. But that absolutely shouldn't happen. The machine shouldn't take the JR pass no matter what as far as I know. So there are major technical problems as well as staff (ineffective) problems at this station. Also after having to use it more, as others have pointed out, it’s essentially false advertising to say this and the non jr station are the same station or that it’s a transfer station. It’s at least a ten minute walk between stations if not more. At that point if you’re on a different side than your desired line, you might as well just get on the other train and do a transfer. If you anre here for business annd choosing an hotel for commuting, this is anlso a problem. Also it is a literal scam. I went through the paid Jr gates and after walking and walking I had to go out of the gate again to get to the non JR line . I thought since it’s the same station, my card would get an error and then I’d get it cleared by the station attendant… but it literally just charged me a fare! For walking! And I followed the signs and I don’t know what happened but based on my Google maps locations it looks like they just sent me in a huge circle?? This station is a complete scam .

Be careful, the station name might not be visible on the platform from the train depending on where you seat in JR trains. Tokyo lines are good there. Commuting from JR lines to Tokyu line will normally require you 10 min.

I arrived this train station one time riding on Nambu Line from Tachikawa City going to Yokohama, and I tried disembarking here at Musashi -Kusugi, another bustling metropolis area of Tokyo-Kanagawa conglomerations....

Study your route before arriving and beware that the train from the airport requires cash. There are machines to print the route but you cannot buy tickets from the machine and after waiting in line we told no credit cards even though there is a visa logo. There we lots of platforms that serve multiple trains so know your train color and platform or you will take the wrong train. At rush hour the trains are very full and there are a lot of people running to make a well understood connection so know where u need to be our be trampled while trying to figure it out
