There are not many economical breakfast options in Gulberg. If you go out of Gulberg, you can find many better breakfast options in terms of taste, quality, quantity and price. Visited Capri Restaurant for Sunday breakfast, had their Halwa Puri and Lassi. The overall experience was average, especially the chana and halwa, which seemed overhyped and not up to par. Service was decent, and the ambiance was satisfactory. Additionally, it's worth noting they charged for parking, which was an unexpected aspect of the visit.

Although the AC was not running when we came, however as soon as we settled, the management turned on the air-conditioning and we enjoyed Halwa Puris in good environment. A big plus for the separate family rooms with air-conditioning environment. Cleanliness could be a bit improved and car parking needs consideration of the management, as parking on the road crates a mess, and they don't have a dedicated parking lot.

Capri Restaurant is one of the pioneers who had introduced the concept of breakfast (called "nashta" in the local language) in Lahore, which is famous for its food. In late 90s, people used to travel from different cities to have "nashta" in Capri. Though the food is still very good according to local standard, the rates have increased many times. Contrary to that, Capri has neither improved its food quality nor the ambiance, when compared to many of its competitors. This is the sole reason why its competitors who had started this business in the vicinity much later than Capri, have expanded at a much faster pace than Capri.

Food is inexpensive and good, tasty. The place was too crowded, like we had to wait for a good 15 mins to find a place for four people. Order also took considerable time but it was a good experience overall.

It serves the traditional food in a very traditional way, you can expect it to be a very traditional eatry just like a dhabba. From traditional breakfast to traditional lunch and dinner, everything is served. Ambiance is not their fortè since they serve a more modest class of people who are working nearby and want a good economical and quality meal. My only grievance from them is that they are a bit over priced for their food and overall impression. However, still economical than some fancy eateries. Recommended for morning breakfast, lunch/dinner especially qorma and karahi.

Nothing is said as hygienic. Cleaniness needs lot of improvement. Staff and crockery is below the mark and food stuff wasn't hot enough which can be appreciated. I will never prefer to visit here again.

The staff was eager to serve. I think there is more hype about the food than what it really was worth. The place is pretty basic too... And noisy. Most of the noise created by the staff themselves... Shouting at each other from across the hall, happily quarreling away through the day. This one person was preparing some recipe items right next to my table.

My family went there around 1pm for brunch on Sunday. It was really crowded, but we only had to wait less than 5 minutes for a table. Immediately the server Chacha Makhan came over and took our order. He was extremely jolly and friendly and honestly he was the highlight of the entire experience. He took time to explain the menu and gave all the customers extra attention. We ordered the breakfast (each one includes a plate of chollay, a plate of halwa and 2 pooris) It was really delicious and the pooris were really fresh and crispy. We also ordered the the murgh chollay and naan and it was really good as well. My family ordered the sweet lassi as well and they loved it, not too sweet but it was a bit too thick for my personal taste. Overall a good experience like usual and I always enjoy eating here. But definitely the best part was the server Chacha Makhan.

Having our office near Liberty market we regularly get a chance to visit Capri Restaurant when in the mood for desi food. The restaurant offers quality desi food options including breakfast items like Naan Chanay etc, specially their Halwa Puri and Lassi breakfast is very good. Other menu items that are very good include their Mutton Qorma, Chicken Kebab, Chicken Tikka, BBQ and Biryani. The place is often crowded during lunch hours and male guests often share tables during lunch. The experience could not be considered fine dining but the food quality is very good and rates are very reasonable so the place definitely offers value for money.

Uses to be good and like many other places , being famous got over their minds.Taste has declined drastically,and not to mention their rocketing prices that has surpassed their direct competitor Bundu Khan considering that its a fancy restaurant with premium service and ambience So about , Capri ordered their 4 puris with channy and a small portion of halwa and 2 regular drinks and it costs Rs-800, which is insane .
