Awesome short hike with the fresh snow this morning. Definitely needed spikes as many icy areas. Beautiful kids fishing pond and easy to loop around the park with only a few small hills.

We walked to the Turtle Pond with our dogs and children. It was a great time! There were a lot of other people there, but every dog we encountered was also on leash so all went well. The trails were very well taken care of, and it was an easy walk. The kids loved the ducks and turtles!

Today It was about riding her bikes. Everyone was so polite on the path. The water is high and quite rushing this spring so take care. Often it is very calm but right now care should be taken. Public washrooms on site. I recommend this as an outing anytime of the year

The park is filled with walking and pedal biking trails. Plus it has a magnificent play area for kids. There are a few picnic tables and benches here and there to have a picnic, to sit and people watch, there is a lot of dog walking. A little hike and you can reach the turtle & frog pond. There is swings, and a rope climbing structure for the bigger kids to climb. The is a river that runs threw the park for the salmon run and we’re the salmon lay there eggs. The washrooms are very clean and maintained. It really is a beautiful park.

I absolutely LOVED 😻this visit to this park. My sister, Mom & I went here for a great time in Nature, having a nice family picnic 🧺@ the picnic table area, which was in the shade as well as covered. There were several trails for walkers to stroll & explore, lush lawns, kept up grounds & maintenance, & an eye catching playground. The best part of my visit was the fabulous monkey 🐒 bars, which I could not resist & enjoyed every moment of it, bringing the kids out if Me, remembering my childhood days & favorite pastimes such as tree climbing & these monkey 🐵 ropes even bounced! I definitely will have to return for a longer visit & another trip in the future!

Perfect place to stop and take the family on a bike ride. Flush toilets and running water to start and end the adventure. Multiple trails on both sides of the Creek with many bridges and crossing points. Go left, and you have an amazing ride through the shade and light. Go right, and you end up 2 blocks from the beach. The trails are EASY and the views are spectacular.

If your are looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of Kelowna, this is the perfect place. Located in the heart of Kelowna, without a doubt this is one of the loveliest places to go to take your dog for a walk, run, or just to relax. Lovely scenery and fellow visitors willing to give a smile and say hello. Very peaceful.

I have been visiting this park since I was a young child with my family, took my kids here often and still enjoy walking the Greenway, or hiking in the hills.

Great park for heavy make out and bird watching. Long walks deep talks are best kept to the creekside trails. Cute picnic spot for a family or just you and your main..... Or side. Lots of dead fish in the river this time of year. Don't be a dead fish. #stayhot

Nice park with decent swings for kids ranging from the age of 3 years to 12 years. There is a flat walking trail there that is really good and can be rated as a beginner level hike( very easy and wide trail where you can ride the strollers with small kids). This spot is in the middle of 14 kilometre trail, so you can park you car here and walk either east or west to reach the start or end of the trail.

Beautiful park with lots of bike and walking trails. Even a bike skills park at the far south east side of the park. You can even find gold in the creek as long as it’s not during spawning season for the salmon!!

Great place for walks , the view is amazing and great place to walk your dog or ride a bike, the kids playground is enormous and safe, and places to have a picnic are in plenty and even places to kick a ball around

This is a very popular park for families, dog walks and cyclists. Lots of parking but the trails are not maintained in the winter so be prepared for snow, ice, slush and/or mud. You can walk along the creek or stroll the ponderosa pines. Some of the trails through the trees have stairs, aggressive inclines and the occasional root. There are kiosks with information about the area and the wildlife there, specifically salmon. At the right time of year you can see salmon spawning by the hundreds, but beware... Every year there are numerous reports of bears seen in the area. Stay on the paths and obey all posted signs. If you're lucky you might see a happy group walking their goats! I think one opportunity for improvement is that the bridges across the creek are few and far between and you don't know how far the next bridge is until you've been there a few times. See you there 😃

A beautiful park with something for everyone. Nice, level paths for strollers, easy bike riding and wheelchair accessible. Two beautiful playgrounds. A covered picnic shelter. Then in the hills, there are trails galore and a fishing pond for the kids. It is well worth the time to stop and explore this park.
