Kinsmen Park

Tourist attraction β€’ Park

πŸ‘πŸ‘ I saw the most beautiful sunset in Kelowna while I was here. (See pics below - no editing). This park has many tables and chairs, kid playground, swings, and beach access. Perfect for kids and family, friend hangouts, or play with your pets. Abbott street has many parks similar to this but I think... People often mention park, water, beach, courts, tennis, beautiful, playground, Park, shade, lake,

I saw the most beautiful sunset in Kelowna while I was here. (See pics below - no editing). This park has many tables and chairs, kid playground, swings, and beach access. Perfect for kids and family, friend hangouts, or play with your pets. Abbott street has many parks similar to this but I think Kinsmen Park is the biggest one along this street.

Two well maintained hard court tennis courts in Kinsmen Park. Managed to play on a Thursday and Friday morning without having to wait. Courts seem popular though.

It's one of my favorite parks. Green grass right to the waters edge and stairs bring you straight into the water. Lots of shade and a park for kids.

We love this park as a starting spot to launch paddleboards. Nice grassy area with a small play structure. No beach

Stunning 4-seasons place to enjoy the lake and views of West Kelowna and the bridge. 2 Tennis courts, lots of shade, benches and ample room for picnics. Bathrooms are open in the summer and early fall. Don’t expect a Sandy beach here though

Beautiful park. Park was kept clean and had easy access to washroom. Both children and adults will like this park for cycling and or long walks. It was a beautiful bright day when we visited. Would love to come here again.

This is a wonderful park with two hard-court tennis courts, kids playground and lots of shade to save you from the midday sun. Also, there is a beautiful nature boardwalk just north along the shore.

Great place to launch a paddleboard from and have an after-work hang out. Very shallow late-summer

This is a very grassy, shaded, scenic park. It is perfect for a short stroll, or to sit at one of the many benches it offers. The view of okanagan lake is overwhelmingly beautiful and the birds chirping almost seem peaceful until they are drown out by the loud honking of the roughly 100 canadian geese that have obviously made themselves very comfortable there. If you stand to close to the sandy area the smell of their presence is almost toxic. So overall its not my personal favorite but there are many beaches along the shoreline of okanagan lake in both directions so maybe go for a walk and explore?

Gorgeous lil park right on the water. Very quiet compared to gyro a couple blocks down. Great place to watch a summer sunset

Beautiful small park with tennis courts. Just the right number of trees to provide shade, one could sit right next to the water and hear the gentle psithurism and the gentle pound of water hitting the rocks at the same time. It's a beautiful place to relax and just be.

When in Kelowna British Colombia Canada, you must visit Kinsmen Park. It is a good place to relax seeing the view of west Kelowna and the Okanagan Lake. Best to be here during summer ( I would think that there are lot of activities here). I visited the park during fall season ( really cold), so it is like a Zombie Apocalypse... There were only few people who visit during that time. But in summer, I think this is the perfect place to visit and have a group activity (eating, chatting etc..). I love this place and definitely be back soon... #ILOVEKELOWNA

Amazing place to walk and if the weather is wark enough even hit the water and enjoy it. We had a quick walk around the neighborhood and it was perfect. Clean with nice view of the city.

This is one of my favorite parks in Kelowna, it is flat for easy accessibility, has public washrooms, tennis courts and is adjacent to the beautiful bird sanctuary! Swimming is great for the kids, as there is no sudden drop- off like some of the other beaches, they can go out quite far without the water getting too deep. We used to take my nephew in his wheelchair all the time, it is easy to get around and has alot of shady areas.

All grassy with trees on the lakeside. No beach. Tennis courts and a children's playground. Not too small or big.

Really nice park, there are benches right by the beach. If you go to either side of the park, you might find small sandy beaches.

It's one of those places that just feels right. There are just the right amount of trees to be nicely shaded while also having enough sun. The grass in very comfortable and cushy for sitting or laying on. There is a tennis court and a small playground feature for kids. And the beach is just lovely. Such a nice spot to have a day!

Beautifully shaded park. Perfect for picnics and family BBQs. Has a tennis court and a playground. No beach though, just a wall that drops off into the lake.

Great Park space on Abbott. Lots of shaded areas and sunny areas. Ample access to the lake and there are several picnic tables available. Washrooms are present on site as well.

Not a sandy beach. Has a stone wall at the water front. Tennis courts. Large old trees for shade. Limited parking on north entrance. Great park for social events.

When we were there, there were only a few people on the beach. The water was like glass and clear as heck. I would definitely recommend bringing the family down for a picnic and fun in the water

Not good for swimming as there is no sand. Beautiful trees and great view of the lake. Playground is okish and has two tennis courts in great shape.
