Wow, truly a hidden gem in Kelowna. Very peaceful place for a walk or light ride with the family. Lots of nature to enjoy - turtles, ducks, birds, butterflies, dragonflies, beavers and more! No dogs allowed on the park loop because of the sensitive area.

Good place to go by bike. I wouldn't recommend to go with a stroller. My kid really enjoyed to see turtles there.

Hidden Gem ... In Kelowna's urban area. Such a beautiful dynamic area and park hidden and beautiful for Nature and Natural Wildlife. Limited parking, and outhouse access.

A beauty of a place, I recently discovered this little haven on an early morning walk and now I visit almost every day! Located right in the heart of town, tucked in where it's not visible from the road, is this little paradise with birds of all kinds, singing their tunes while you circle the pond and so much to look at!

Munson Pond is always a treat to visit with a lovely walking path, two wooden outlooks and a few mowed observation areas. It is in full sun for most of the day so bring sunscreen in the summer and no public bathrooms.

Beautiful pond brimming with birds and other wildlife. Right in our backyard. Great walking trail. NO DOGS ALLOWED AROUND POND DUE TO NESTING BIRDS

A great little park with a pond,a trail that encompasses it and other connecting trails to the nearby neighborhood. Excellent for bird photography. Small parking lot,Porta pottie on site. 2 lookout platforms built over pond with seating there. I come to practice bird photography and just relax with a coffee. There are also painted western turtles there. Please be respectful of wildlife. The place will not be the same if they are not there.

So gorgeous!! But you can't walk the loop around the pond with a dog. There is another small area. But really, I'd leave poochie behind next time.

Munson Pond Park offers a delightful and serene experience for nature enthusiasts. The description of the loop around the pond, with its flat terrain, makes it accessible to hikers of all levels, providing a perfect setting for a leisurely stroll. The presence of wild birds and pond animals adds an extra layer of charm, giving visitors the opportunity to connect with the local wildlife. This area being one of the last natural environments for the cottonwood species in Kelowna highlights the park's ecological significance. Additionally, supporting vital endangered species adds to the importance of preserving this habitat. Munson Pond Park is a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of nature while contributing to the conservation of a valuable ecosystem. Dogs are allowed on leash.

Beautiful bird sactuary near the middle of the city. Quiet area, easy trail, viewpoints, and lots of various wildlife (turtles, beavers, birds...etc)

I gave this a 5, but it's more of a locals thing. If I were coming from out of town I don't think this would be on my list or anything. It's just an easy place to be outside. It's quite natural and is pretty and calming.

I go for an evening walk around the pond every night. It's quite a lovely and tranquil place with wild fauna and a decent selection of birds. It does get muggy in the warmer months and can draw quite a few bugs and mosquitos... recommend wearing bug spray.

This is a beautiful and convenient park, with well maintained paths and bridges. Lots of parking at multiple entrances. It's perfect for a scenic outing with family, friends and pets (on leash). Guaranteed you will see an abundance of flora and fauna in the natural landscape. Hope you enjoy as much as we do

Beautiful loop trail around the pond; places to branch off for a different view, or to get closer to the water; great birdwatching opportunities; photography fun; potential to see beaver. Tiny parking lot. Trails also accessible from nearby roads. See map

Nice little park, excellent birding. Some extremely rude dog owners who pretend like rules don't apply to them.

This really is an oasis in the middle of the city. Just had a walk around the pond and saw many turtles, a snake, and an eagle fly down and eat a fish. This won't be everyone's experience, but I quite enjoyed it.

Very nice path around the pond. May not be a very long ride on a bicycle. But with my wheelchair it is a nice tour.
